I seriously couldn't believe it.

so, I missed it somehow but does that wizardy-looking chick have horns or is it just a case of a bad hairday?

Bethany suffers from chronic giraffe syndrome even more than FemShep.

The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

Yep, horns.

does it mean she's somehow related to Stern? :sorcerer: at first I thought it was Flemeth, now I don't know what to think

It IS Flemeth

According to the concept art, Qunari females don't look like Flemeth at all (different skin tone, generally more imposing, the horns are similar to the males and are visible etc.). The timeline also rules out the possibility of Flemeth being in a Qunari body, so if it has a significance (and is not just a visual reference to the fact that, well, she shapeshifts into a dragon), it's not that.

Those horns look like headdress.

Or heavy winds.

"Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

Bio should really learn to keep their games separate, that Flemeth headdress looks like something out Star Wars. :sorcerer:

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

Looks like hair tied back.

It looks like a helmet.

Whatever this creature is, it better not be just a pushover in a fight.

1.13 killed off Ja2.

looks like s**t

It IS Flemeth

damn :sorcerer: I can't believe Bio made her "canon" or whatever you call it, because she's like the only dragon you can slay in DAO (final boss doesn't count), they actually think most people would pass a chance like that? or these cutscenes are taking place before the warden had the chance to kill her... I am confused

Dragon Age II begins before you get the chance to slay Flemeth. It doesn't really contradict anything you do.

You can kill another dragon in DAO.

"Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

It looks, at least to me, like her hair is wrapped and tied around horns. Perhaps it is a headdress or maybe she has the same hair defying physics as Cloud but I think they are horns personally. We'll find out soon enough, unless Bioware have said something about it on the forum already?

edit;

Btw If you ask Morrigan about it in one of the later dialogs she makes it clear that you've not slain Flemith, just slowed her down a bit.

Should we start using spoiler tags?

Yes, you are.

DA2 takes place partially before you have the chance to kill Flemeth.

Already in DAO it's said outright that killing Flemeth's body isn't quite enough to be rid of her for good.

Still confused?

You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that?

ahyes.gifReapercussionsahyes.gif

oh, it's unfair :sorcerer: I admit I just dislike the character, I am biased, but still it's kinda stupid to build a game around something that is lacking in charisma and appeal as Flemeth does

and that other dragon... well, when you have the only chance to kill it, your party is so underleveled, that straight tanking it isn't an option. I saw a 40-minute-1-mage-running circles-shooting tactic, but that's no fun

What are you talking about? You can be a as powerful as you want to be during that quest.

1.13 killed off Ja2.

maybe it was a bug i dunno, when I first reached the mountain top I wasn't powerful enough, I entered the temple, completed the quest, went to lvl up a bit and came back only to find that I could no longer summon the dragon with the horn. I thought it meant that you only get one chance at it.

She's also not the only dragon you can slay either.

EDIT: So late....

Maybe you just weren't close enough to the dragon when you tried the horn?

I took this job because I thought you were just a legend. Just a story. A story to scare little kids. But you're the real deal. The demon who dares to challenge God.

So what the hell do you want? Don't seem to me like you're out to make this stinkin' world a better place. Why you gotta kill all my men? Why you gotta kill me?

Nothing personal. It's just revenge.
