mkreku Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I still don't get why GFWL is such a problem. That's because you buy all your games, you dirty non-pirate. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
INMATEofARKHAM Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 What is GFWL? Games For Windows Live. (Don't worry, you're not the only one who didn't know.)
jaguars4ever Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I still don't get why GFWL is such a problem. What is GFWL? Girlfriends with Leprosy. GFWL is most definitely a problem in India and Jerusalem 11/12 BC.
Killian Kalthorne Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 If they add in a Michelle Thornton then I wouldn't mind the delay. More character choices is always a good thing. character choices are should i be an elf or a dwarf, not should i be male or female... That would be silly since the takes place in the real world. Last I checked there are no elves or dwarves hanging around at the street corner. Sweettooth30 Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 (edited) Hi guys, I have been sitting on my pre-order paid in full for almost a year now. I was bummed when I heard it moved from the 6th to the 27th, but 5 more months, thats crazy, nothing worse than waiting for somthing so bad then having it taken away. well I guess I go to Uncharted 2 now. Edited September 29, 2009 by Sweettooth30
Silvernite Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 With this delay they should also be adding more facial customization. Another whole year to get things right, Obs.
Oner Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Last I checked there are no elves or dwarves hanging around at the street corner. Because I'm doing a fine job. Killian Kalthorne Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 You example has nothing to do with the game therefore a very poor example. Now if you said that there was no way to change ethnicity, such as changing from a Caucasian to Asian, then that would be applicable except the game does allow that I believe with the character generation when yo9u create the character's look. SO The only significant difference in a real world CRPG would be male or female. Perhaps you should think before posting, Dr. Watson. No, it doesn't.
vault_overseer Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 (edited) Gamestop has "Pre-order Ships 6/1/2010" Sega's fiscal year ends 5/31. I bet they want to move it to next fiscal year for some financial reason. EDIT: I was just thinking about it and god, unless Sega is REALLY screwed, this would be a totally retarded reason to delay the game Edited September 29, 2009 by vault_overseer
Purkake Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Actual potential for sales confirmed! I'm 100% behind this decision.
AlphaProtocolForever Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 I still don't get why GFWL is such a problem. That's because you buy all your games, you dirty non-pirate. I buy my games on steam. I don't need another DRM to crash it to hell and back. Also, I like using mods. GFWL requires disabling in FO3 to use the more advanced ones.
greylord Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Another site votes for Oct 27th. http://tech.msn.com/products/slideshow.asp...p;imageindex=10 Slide 10
Masterfade Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 If the release date is still 27 Oct, review copies should be out by now. Oh well, time to hang around Desslock's twitter...

uzivatel Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Also, I like using mods. GFWL requires disabling in FO3 to use the more advanced ones. I would not count on AP having (m)any mods anyway...
Zoraptor Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Don't hold out any hopes for Oct 6th, the game would have to have been gold for a week to make that date. EDIT: I was just thinking about it and god, unless Sega is REALLY screwed, this would be a totally retarded reason to delay the game Sega US is in very poor shape, though the Japanese parent is still ok.
Tigranes Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 wow an idiot... not many of them on the net? Actually, everything Killian said appears to make sense to me. In any case, if everyone could refrain from slapping each other in the face, it would be nice. If the release date is still 27 Oct, review copies should be out by now. Oh well, time to hang around Desslock's twitter... That would be another indication, actually. Although we are seeing the normal set of 'previews' that build up to pre-release reviews... Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)

alanschu Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 As I just learned, sometimes simply because there's review copies out, doesn't mean they'd be allowed to say anything
INMATEofARKHAM Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 If the release date is still 27 Oct, review copies should be out by now. Oh well, time to hang around Desslock's twitter... Not necessarily... There could be no review copies because they don't want it to get reviewed before its release date... (Not saying this is what's going on but it is possible.)
alanschu Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Indeed it is. Also, before print magazines.
dan107 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Why is Obsidian letting us go through this crap?? I realize that it's probably out of their hands right now, but is it really so difficult for a dev to go into a Strarbucks, register a new account and just let us know what's going on here?
