This is unlikely to happen in the near future, but far from impossible. I would take, in descending order of priority, my passport, my wallet (including credit cards), a bottle of water, my laptop, a few clothes stuffed into a bag, some paracetomol. Warm winter Filson clothing, an an extra change of clothes. A flashlight, a flint, a compass, a cleaning rod, some maps, a knife, and a hatchet. That's if I had to leave on foot. In any case, I'd take my wallet, a suitcase with clothes including some good interview/work stuff, a sleeping bag, my 360 (decent liquidity), my external hard drive with all my computer files, and my cellphone. All of which is within my room and could be easily packed up in a moments notice. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated.
