theslug Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 In no particular order House - House M.D. Sean - Psych Chuck - Chuck Kamina - TTGL Lelouch - Code Geass Light - Death Note Dexter - Dexter Walter - Breaking Bad Omar - The Wire Ghandi - Clone High Ein - Cowboy bebop Edward - FMA McGuirk (many other characters as well) - Home Movies Aziz - Human Giant Charlie - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Sayid or Desmond - Lost Brock and The Monarch - The Venture Bros There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. More data must be gleaned and further collated before a sufficient judgment can be reached.

Hurlshort Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I enjoyed Buffy, but I'd put Angel above it. Buffy's best moments were created by fringe characters, like the second vampire slayer who went crazy and Spike. I would put Firefly even higher, but honestly I think if Firefly had 5 seasons, it wouldn't have been as great. These shows lose steam over time, and Firefly has the curse and the blessing of dying young. Angel was filled with good times. The whole law firm that represents demons and other evil creatures was fantastic. And it was a more adult theme. But none of these are high art or anything. Buffy is 90210 and Angel is Melrose place, but for fantasy geeks. Firefly is essentially Growing Pains.

Laozi Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 has anyone mentioned the passionate, passionate Nightman? People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
theslug Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Day man is the fighter of the nightman, protector of the sun, master of karate and friendship for everyone. Gfted1 Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 'Ohh, sorry to bother you again, it's just there's one thing about what you say happened I can't quite understand.' Document: Peter Falk has Alzheimer's Dec 16, 12:03 PM (ET) LOS ANGELES (AP) - A court document filed by Peter Falk's daughter says the Emmy-winning actor is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Catherine Falk is seeking a court's approval for a conservatorship of her 81-year-old father, who she claims no longer recognizes people. A hearing has been scheduled for late January. Falk is familiar to most audiences as the star of the television series "Columbo," for which he won four Emmys. He was also nominated twice for Academy Awards for movie roles in 1959 and 1960. The petition filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court states Falk lives in Beverly Hills with his wife and recently had hip surgery and requires constant care. A phone message left for Falk's manager was not immediately returned Tuesday. "I'm your biggest fan, Ill follow you until you love me, Papa"
Volourn Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 "and this^ is coming from someone who watches The Young and the Restless..." Y&R has eveyrthing one would need to find a show entertaining - solid writing, great acting, characters one cna care about. I'd rather watch a serial drama than a 2 hour movie with cookie cutter characters that will become irrelevant ocne the movie is over. On a soap, you actually see character really grow and change over the course of time instead of over 2 silly hours. "AND Dawson's Creek ffs" hey, I never claimed that DC is the best show ever. It isn't. It's your typical teenage soap opera histronics. However, my point is that Pacey Witter as a character has actually been elevated above the atual source. DC was watchable. That's it. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
