That's right, because according to Gamespy, Mass Effect is "Roleplaying perfected", so it's now the gold standard by which all RPG's will be measured.

Oh, yes, of course Mass Effect came up with that system - who else could have been that clever? Look, even the creators of Dungeons and Dragons went back in time and copied the game! ;)

Sounds more like Bloodlines to me. Do you get any XP for killing mooks?

I doubt it. One of the things we all loved about (unmodded) Deus Ex was that you could sneak your way through the whole game and yield equal reward as a rambo type. Bloodlines sort of did that too, but the design wasn't terribly accomodating to stealth in most cases, and what little support there was ended at the mob mansion. If Obs thinks like we do they'll figure goal-oriented character development is the best option.

How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them.

You should add blinking mechanics like in Alone in the Dark, even when in third person, and during combat.
