Anastase Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Hmmm..Fenghuang that's true. I guess I thought of myself as a kid at 19 though when the cartoons first started *shrug* Plus I used to read the comics at a friend's house when I was younger, he was a real collector of all kinds of comic books. Which was why I loved the cartoons so much
Dark_Raven Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Both Tomb Raider movies. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

Diogo Ribeiro Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 By the way, The DaVinci Code sucks ass in all possible ways. Stilted dialogues, terrible characters, hackneyed plot. Just like the book but even more depressing because I can't seem to hate Tom Hanks
Oerwinde Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I just saw D&D Wrath of the Dragon God. Better than the first one. I finished it and went "Hrmm, yep, that was a D&D movie". Instead of my reaction after the first one of "What the hell was that crap?" The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Surreptishus Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 By the way, The DaVinci Code sucks ass in all possible ways. Stilted dialogues, terrible characters, hackneyed plot. Just like the book but even more depressing because I can't seem to hate Tom Hanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU READ THE BOOK THEN WATCHED THE FILM KNOWING IT WOULD BE RUBBISH! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Role-Player did it in the exact opposite order to me! Surely there is a connection!
Darth Launch Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I have a stack of DVDs I've bought sitting here. You guys decide what I watch next. Let's see. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow The Exorcist: The Beginning Constantine Phantom of the Opera <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Watch Constantine! It has Keanu I watched "Der Untergang" last night... it was very well done and interesting OO-TINI!
Dark Moth Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Watch Sky Captain last. It's not worth it, IMO. (I remember first seeing that movie in theaters when Hurricane Ivan hit my town) The Da Vinci Code was just boring.
Surreptishus Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 No! Don't watch it at all Feng! Possible suggestions: break up the disc and put in a sammich of a crappy customer OR just send it to the crappy manager at your old SUBWAY!
jaguars4ever Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Dawn of the Dead (the newie, not the oldie).
alanschu Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I actually didn't mind Da Vinci code. The only real gaffe was that it carried on too long.
Judge Hades Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Da VInci COde should be renamed the Da Vinci Mold. I rather watch Highlander 2: The Sickening over that crap.
Surreptishus Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Judge Hades, I do admit I must agree with you on that matter, my esteemed fellow forumite.
jaguars4ever Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Da VInci COde should be renamed the Da Vinci Mold. I rather watch Highlander 2: The Sickening over that crap. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Sickening was unnecessary and horribly out of place - tacked on even. The progression could (and should) have gone from 1 --> H3: Sorceror Drug Dealer Van Peebles.
Calax Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I've got the warriors netflix coming this week... then the list has both Xmen movies Batman unbreakable, swordfish... Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow The Exorcist: The Beginning Constantine Phantom of the Opera <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Phantom of the Opera is superlatively written, acted, sung and directed (and produced, and set-dressed, and the properties are first-rate), but if you don't like musical theatre you may not enjoy it. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Dark_Raven Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Phantom of the Opera is an excellent movie. I am not a fan of musicals, but this was still a good movie. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

baby arm Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 The Omen horrible, just see the original, dont bother with the remake Poseidon is another worthless remake. It has a few genuinely tense moments, but it mostly feels like a made-for-TV movie. Wait for it to come on cable.
