Dark_Raven Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Also just watched Predator for the first time in a long time ... comfort viewing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That it is. A great movie. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Dark Moth Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 It's an 80's action flick with Arnie himself. You couldn't ask for more.
WITHTEETH Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 (edited) I saw the Brothers Grim movie also, i must say i wasn't as entertained as i thought i would be. I think TEAM AMERICA Ruined it for me "matt Damon" . I do remember reading the stories when i was young, good stuff. Edited April 11, 2006 by WITHTEETH Always outnumbered, never out gunned! Pidesco Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 (edited) Le Salaire De La Peur and Some Like It Hot. It's really amazing how the same director can make Some Like It Hot and Sunset Boulevard. Les Diaboliques and Paths Of Glory are next. Edited April 12, 2006 by Soulseeker "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. metadigital Posted April 12, 2006 Posted April 12, 2006 S'funny, I had to run through Madonna's latest music video at the gym today (Confessions from a Dance Floor) and it struck me that she ought to watch Sunset Boulevard ... OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Fenghuang Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 I just saw V for Vendetta. It was excellent. The ending made me cry. My TPB copy of it should arrive in the mail in about a week. Then I can relive the adventure! RIP
kirottu Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Lucky Number Slevin. It was good, really good. Because I had no idea what to expect. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
astr0creep Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 Ice Age 2 : The Meltdown Should've been called The Letdown. Standard CGI movie but with an empty, unemotional story. Almost a simple series of slapstick sketches to make the kids laugh. No real vilains, only a pair of predators who never say anything. The story doesn't explore anything that was laid down in the previous film, such as Manny's family or Diego's past. All we get are a bunch of fat jokes and a lot of Scratch's misfortunes. That said, I did laugh more than the first one. But that's not saying much. http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
LadyCrimson Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 (edited) Fun w/D ick & Jane - not fun, not entertaining. Harry Potter/Goblet of Fire - why are these always about 30 minutes too long? Ralph Fiennes in the end was great...hehe...the rest...not so much. But it was a lot better than the other movie... Edited April 15, 2006 by LadyCrimson “Things are as they are. Nikolas Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Falling in Love Robert De Niro & Meryl Streep deliver some great acting for me and both of them looked great, particularly Meryl in eighties clothes Nice movie, a well-made, well-acted New York(?) romance thingie
Diogo Ribeiro Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Passion of the Christ. It's okay for an S&M movie, but they should have stuck with strangers wearing gimp suits instead of having it be about Christ.

Darth Drabek Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 I watched The Naked Gun 2 1/2 again the other day. Classic. Also, finally watched Blade Runner. Lived up to my expectations. baby, take off your beret everyone's a critic and most people are DJs
Kelverin Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 King Kong - Give me the 30's version. As said before, way too long. Constant Gardener - Great acting all around, very depressing. Licence To Kill - Great Bond flick, # 5 on my list. Dalton may not have much charisma, but his acting, and ruthlessness more than make up for it. A throw back to the Bond that Ian Fleming wrote about. J1 Visa Southern California Cleaning
Fenghuang Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 I just watched the Lovebug on TV with my family. The new one that inspired Lindsay Lohan to take up bulimia after they digitally remastered it to make her bust smaller. It was so awful words cannot even describe it. I feel dirty, someone needs to wash the shame off. RIP
