I believe you are right. I think there was also some parenting issues that caused Emilio to stick with the name. I think there were different mothers too.

You know, I loved the movie, so I was very hyped to finally read Heart of Darkness. I thought it was disappointing.

I always loved A Bridge Too Far, too...it's not nearly as good as River Kwai of course, plus it's a bit too long, but there's something about it that I still like.

 

Das Boat is still my fave war movie of all time tho.

My favorite part of that show is when they let Alec Guiness out of the sweatbox and he tries to walk away on his own. He gets about four steps, then faints like a wittle gurly.

 

I own ABOTRK, think Apocalypse Now is a classic, but my favorite all time war movie has to be Platoon. And I'd like to give an honorable mention to Michael J. Foxs' " casulties of war". Although it shouldn't be held in the same regard as the other movies, it still isn't a bad show.

Ya, but for Lloyd it had to be the dream role. It so strange because he'll always be Dr. Emmet Brown even if hes working in a porno theater and his body parts are falling off.

 

Christopher Walken was funny in it, you know typical Christopher Walken character. Andy Garcia was palatable, which is good, not a big fan of him.

 

Its definitely an odd movie

I stayed up late watching Heartbreak Ridge last night. NOw I'm dozing off at work. I don't mind somuch since its such a kickass movie.

Munich. I really liked this film. I understand there are supposed to be a load of factual and historical accuracies. At this point I'm not aware of much other than the incident itself. I still feel teh film was able to get its point across well and give a somewhat balanced view of the Israel/Palestine quandary.

It's a good film, very emotional. The bit where the Israeli operative and the PLO guy fight over the radio stations is pretty funny.

The film that brought my respect for Alex Baldwin back up a few notches.

Sorry, Meta. I enjoyed Ocean's Twelve as well. Not a great film, but it kept me entertained. I've sat through a lot worse.

 

Really enjoyed Munich. Also recently watched Walk The Line. A good film to take a girl to so long as she likes country music. Or Joaquin Poenix. But then which girls DON'T like Joaquin Phoenix?
