Archmonarch
I think my favorite part is the exhiliration and anticipation after just having seen the intro scroll fade out, hearing the awesome musical score, and having the camera pan down to whatever planet is in the background, thus kicking off the movie ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. But then again, I often find ancticipation and imagination to be more engrossing than the actual product. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had

Kaftan Barlast
I watch certain parts of EpIII for the grand comedy that they are, my fav is Samuel Jackson after the first battle "General Grievous will always run..." and then he sneakily adds "he's a coward" its so bad.. and I also like the perplexing "The jedi council turned on me, dont you turn on me" and the "..too" never comes! ...Palps also provide some comedy moments but I cant remeber anything else but his overacting voice DISCLAIMER: Do not take what I write seriously unless it is clearly and in no uncertain terms, declared by me to be meant in a serious and non-humoristic manner. Oerwinde
Family Guy just did a good parody of that with Stewie and Osama <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Huh? Who? What? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Stewie vs Osama Bin Laden in Family guy, Stewie fought like Yoda from Ep II. Anyway, favorite scene is Anakin marching towards the jedi temple at the head of the column of Clone Troopers. Just love the composition of the sequence combined with the score. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Missy
All of Empire Strikes Back, because that is the most awesome Star Wars film. :D Vader force chokes Captain Needa to death "Apology accepted, Captain Needa" Or, the fantasy sequence in my head where Jar Jar Binks gets riddled with bullets. Surreptishus
Omg!!! Family is going to the front of the queue!! RoTJ, Vader vs Luke: When Luke is hiding and Vader is taunting him which leads to luke jumpshing out and going apeisht all over vader. The actual fighting was a little retarded but the drama of the scene was awesome most probably helped by the choral swell at that moment.

CoM_Solaufein
At the end of Empire Strikes back where Luke watches out the window as Chewie and Lando head for Tatoonie and you can see that galaxy in the background. That was just awe inspiring seeing a galaxy like that. Darth Launch
My favourite moment... probably when I first saw that Imperial Star Destroyer cruiser thingy just engulfing my T.V. screen right at the beginning of the first movie... that was the most awesome thing I had ever seen when I was five... stunning... LadyCrimson
First movie, in the theater, I'm around 9...theater goes dark...the previews end...the screen is black and the speakers are silent...nothing but a few whispers from the auidience here and there...and then.. BOOM....the SW theme blares out in a sudden and startling burst, as the big yellow words STAR WARS flashes on screen and then pulls back...I almost leaped out of my chair, and several people in the theater gasped. Other than that....I'd have to go with the Obi-Wan/Darth Maul fight at the end of the 1st prequel, for action...and for humor, many of the original droid moments. Tho the Emperor intoning that all of Lukes friends will die was right up there. “Things are as they are. Bulgarian Jedi
My favouritew moments in the Star Wars movies are the dialoge between Palpatine and Anakin in EpIII and the attenpt of the Emperor to turn Luke to the Dark Side and the events afterwards in epVI. Other good moments are the "No, I am your father", the deaths of Obi-Wan and Qu-gon and also the teachings of Yoda in epV. The best lightsabre duel in the series is the Obi-Wan+Qui-Gon versus Darth Maul in ep I. The "great" duel in Ep III between Anakin and Obi-Wan had wayyyy to much special effects in it and its second half and especially ending were incredibly silly and dissapointing. Hurlshort
I like the scene in Return of the Jedi when Leia gets shot. They are outside of a bunker, and Han reaches down and totally grabs her boob. Watch it, it's awesome.
Calax
was I the only one who noticed anakin/vaders style chaged between the trilogies? In the OT he's very power oriented, all his attacks are designed for strength. In the prequils theres alot of fluff and a little kendo added for fun. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kor Qel Droma
I think my favorite moment is from ROTJ. Luke is captured and is being escorted to the Emperor by Vader. Vader starts off on how Luke made himself a new lightsaber, then turns it on. I don't know why, but in the theatre that made me jump. I'm picking that with my runner up being Obi-Wan splitting Maul in ep.1 Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Also in PT Jedi were at height of powers so had many graceful flashy styles and Vader lost mobility once he became a cyborg... or something
Delta Truth
When Vader comes to inspect the star destroyer construction (perhaps its the Imperial march theme more than anything) Yeah the fight between Anakin and Obi won was awesome
LadyCrimson
I was wondering if Annie & Obi were using the Force to shield themselves from the 2000-3000 degree heat (or whatever) of all that molten lava they were fighting directly upon. DemonKing
"I am your father." Tore my little 10 year old heart out in the cinema. Also loved any scene with the imperial march blaring away (Vader surveying his fleet in ESB, first scene of ROTJ when he arrives at the new Death Star etc). The emperor is ROTJ was great too - wizened and twisted with evil but also immense power. In the prequels I guess I enjoyed the Maul/Qui Gon/Obi Wan fight and the Yoda/Dooku fight - although I found the fights at the end of ROTS a little underwhelming. I also really liked the last 30 minutes or so of AOTC - it was just pure visceral action.
