Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

How many Spidey films are they planning on doing?   While I'd love to see Venom, they'd have to either go through a ton of events really fast, or change the storyline around to be able to fit in the movie.  Becuase there are a lot of events that took place in the comic leading up to Eddie Brock becoming Venom.

But didn't the venom symbiote already arrive on earth when MJ's ex-fiancee came back from his space mission with it? i always thought they were forshadowing venom by having the space mission to the moon and Jameson's son on it. and I always thought eddie brock becomes venom later, not to start with. so there was a former host before eddie gets it. and then spidey right? whatever

Original comic origin of Venom: Spiderman gets black suit after secret wars

cartoon origin: symbiote comes down with a space shuttle and bonds with spidey after he rescues shuttle pilots.

What happens after is pretty much the same in the comic and cartoon with a few characters changed.

the ultimate origin is quite a bit different - google it.

So if the film chooses to follow an origin already established it looks like its going for that of the cartoon. The whole story is pretty convoluted and too much for one film IMO.

okay then...

I don't know. they could probably fit venom in well in one movie, but not with sandman included. plus the green goblin is unresolved.

No way could they do venom in one movie. MAYBE in 2 and thats pushing it, i could see a 3 parter. spidy gets the suit in the begining of one movie, loses it about half way through the second and venom gets it and it all end is the third one and possibly introduces carnage.

Gwen Stacy kinda looks like Jenny McCarthy in that pic.

Except she's missing something...well...two things actually.

What?

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
