jedipodo Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 It's nothing new, but here is one of the latest PC previews. LucasArts tell us that various team members cried during testing, and not because of bugs. Why then, because of the ending...? If it can reduce those developing it to emotional wrecks, just imagine what it could do to us. *shock* "Jedi poodoo!" - some displeased Dug S.L.J. said he has already filmed his death scene and was visibly happy that he
DSLuke Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 I would like to see some new PC screenshot at the main site. The have the same ones for some months now. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Enoch Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 I'm confused-- was the game written by a guy named "Avalone" or "Avolone"?
oherror Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 typo's are to be expected in reviews...like the euro XBOX mag reviewer kept calling hk-47 "AK-47" it was rather funny and i bet he was ripped for it in the emails to him...
Ostkant Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 5000 years before Phantom Menace? I don't think so. Oh well, that review is so old.
EnderAndrew Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 The Knights of the Republic era is 4,000 years before the movies.
Ostkant Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Not exactly, but correct. That guy in the review had no idea what the heck he was saying most of the time.
The Coordinator Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 Not exactly, but correct. That guy in the review had no idea what the heck he was saying most of the time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, what do you expect of cheaply paid editors? Either they have too much to do so that they cannot research know all detail about a game. Or they
jaguars4ever Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 I read 2 lines of that junk, & when it said Activision is the publisher, I stopped. <_<

I hope it was due to the storyline/characters (somehow??) and not to all the work necessary to iron out bugs and improve framerate.
Worthgarian Posted December 27, 2004 Posted December 27, 2004 "Knights of the Old Republic II will be released for PC and Xbox in February" Hahahahaha ... never heard that one before <_< . After going through KOTOR:TSL on Xbox I couldn't find any emotionaly strong moments. Funny, frustrating and arousing: definately yes. But nothing dramatic worth mentioning happens in TSL. I think the devs were crying because they had to rush the game for Chrismas and therefore wouldn't be able to put in everything they had planned for the game or maybe because they couldn't make a simultaneous Xbox and PC release... Oh wait didn't I just learned there will be a simultaneous release in February ? Hurray ! (PC gamers can rejoice and go dance in the street throwing flowers)

DS maybe... "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy

Demigod Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Activision could be the publisher in europe. It publishes most of LA games over here it did all of the Jedi knight series and KOTOR1

JoleeOnasi Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 5000 years before Phantom Menace? I don't think so. Oh well, that review is so old. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> mmm no the game cover says 4000 years before the galatic Empire sooooo yea I guess it could be before the phantom menace give or take about.....50 years
