Lexx Posted July 15 Posted July 15 It's probably just another metaphor for america. Â "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."

He gets caught in Lex's trap, which makes sense in the context of the story. Ymmv I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
uuuhhii Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Â last movie are terrible at least they hire someone can make funny trailer
Lexx Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Is this real? Looks like Kung Fury. 1 "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."
majestic Posted July 17 Posted July 17 10 hours ago, Lexx said: Is this real? Looks like Kung Fury. Yes and no. It is a trailer for a Johnny Cage martial arts movie in the Mortal Kombat universe. It is real insofar as Karl Urban is going to play Johnny Cage (which is pretty weird), but it's not actual scenes from Mortal Kombat II. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.
Lexx Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Ah, it's a trailer from inside the movie. Since this is apparently the second Mortal Kombat movie, was the first any good? "only when you no-life you can exist forever, because what does not live cannot die."

Hurlshort Posted July 17 Posted July 17 So this is a sequel to the 2021 movie? I thought that was decent. This looks more silly, which is fine.Â
Malcador Posted July 18 Posted July 18 They all pale next to Mortal Kombat : Annihilation 1 Why has elegance found so little following? Elegance has the disadvantage that hard work is needed to achieve it and a good education to appreciate it. - Edsger Wybe Dijkstra

Gfted1 Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Sinners Wow, that was really good. Theres a great mid-credits scene too that ties some things up. Michael B. Jordan has some chops imo. 2

HoonDing Posted July 20 Posted July 20 I still haven't played Mortal Kombat 11 because it takes more than 100gig disk space. And after that the franchise is rebooted again anyway The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.
Maedhros Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Super short reviews of three recent films, using the nationally famous https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_throw_(review) Sinners - Intriguing up until a certain point. There was potential there to be a great film, but for me the last part was rather generic and uninteresting. 4/6 28 years later - Surprisingly good. There's tension there, and heart. It looks great and sounds great, with a good dose of weird too. I liked it. 5/6 Fantastic Four - Competent and coherent, but uninspired? I was never bored, but also never surprised or feeling any excitement. Much better than the other F4 films of course, but it felt very "comittee made" and followed the moviemaking playbook. I liked the guy who played the Human torch. 3/6 Â
