Back to the Bayonetta lady, I don't think the statement was meant to throw anyone under a bus. She seems to be saying that she created an iconic voice for the character, and anyone coming in to replace her is simply doing an impression of her work. I have no idea how accurate that is since I don't play the games. Would we be upset if James Earl Jones was replaced by a decent impressionist? Also, $15-20k sounds a lot more reasonable for the work, but I'm not sure how believable the company response is. It definitely spices up the drama though. Its just fantasy and provides revenue streams for actors But she has done lots of things apart from that.
