If you ever need a reason to go back to New Vegas:

Because let's face it, the only proper way to play that game is Cowboy Crit build with revolvers and the Medicine Stick.

“Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.”

"The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete."

Phantasmagoria 2's protagonist actor is interviewing fellow cast members, etc.  Is pretty cool, even if that game was kinda eh, points for Skinemax-tier sex scenes I guess.

Actually all of this guy's animations are so good, they want to make me replay the game and even use weapons that I never liked before.

I didn't even know they were releasing another DLC so soon -- first one dropped just before summer. And apparently they added infantry through an official mod (because apparently devs do that now), but it's not very good currently.

I didn't even know there was a first DLC. Thought the game bombed completely. Personally I couldn't even make it through 2 missions... not sure if I should give it a chance again or if that's it for me..

There was a dlc that added lunar low gravity environments and a sandbox campaign without the "bad guys killed your father" story

Unobtrusively informing you about my new ebook (which you should feel free to read and shower with praise).

Yeah, Heroes apparently fixes some of the biggest problems with the game at launch so consensus among players seems to be that it's pretty much essential now, but I don't know about this one. For me the biggest deal breaker is that every update breaks mods. Otherwise I would probably have it already -- coop seems fun enough.

Weird that Nintendo would set a video as "private" and how did I see it? Let's try this one from Atlus themselves:

I can't see the original video I posted now either. Did Nintendo upload it by mistake? It's the same trailer. I don't see why Atlus would mind Nintendo promoting their upcoming Switch game.:shrugz:

I can't believe it but I'm actually excited for a Konami release. Granted, it's just a rerelease, but still. I am speaking of the Castlevania Advance Collection. From the reviews I've seen, this is a well done rerelease with some nice quality of life additions and the price is quite fair for 4 really good, albeit old, games. I mean, $20 is almost worth it for Aria of Sorrow alone. That game is so freakin' great, I put it on par with Symphony of the Night. I'm not going to sing Konami's praises for a rerelease, but it's kind of nice that they did something not terrible.

It's out now for everything. I should be getting my Switch soon, I'll scoop it up for that. Those GBA games will feel right at home on that 7" OLED.

I'm the enemy, 'cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech, and freedom of choice. I'm the kinda guy that likes to sit in a greasy spoon and wonder, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecue ribs with the side-order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol! I wanna eat bacon, and butter, and buckets of cheese, okay?! I wanna smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in the non-smoking section! I wanna run naked through the street, with green Jell-O all over my body, reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly may feel the need to, okay, pal? I've SEEN the future. Do you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sitting around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar Meyer Wiene"

I'm not completely sure, what drew me to the game initially was the developer Big Bad Wolf who made my 2018 GotY The Council. The way I would describe that game, for those that have not played it (you should, it's great), is the answer to the question "what if someone made a Telltale-style game but with actual gameplay and the choices did matter?" It was a heavily narrative-driven investigative mystery with light RPG mechanics and meaningful choice and consequence.

I would guess VTM: Swansong will play at least somewhat like its predecessor, but the twist is that you play as 3 different characters. No clue if you can switch freely between them or if it's scripted.
