Agiel
1 Quote “Political philosophers have often pointed out that in wartime, the citizen, the male citizen at least, loses one of his most basic rights, his right to life; and this has been true ever since the French Revolution and the invention of conscription, now an almost universally accepted principle. But these same philosophers have rarely noted that the citizen in question simultaneously loses another right, one just as basic and perhaps even more vital for his conception of himself as a civilized human being: the right not to kill.” -Jonathan Littell <<Les Bienveillantes>> Quote "The chancellor, the late chancellor, was only partly correct. He was obsolete. But so is the State, the entity he worshipped. Any state, entity, or ideology becomes obsolete when it stockpiles the wrong weapons: when it captures territories, but not minds; when it enslaves millions, but convinces nobody. When it is naked, yet puts on armor and calls it faith, while in the Eyes of God it has no faith at all. Any state, any entity, any ideology that fails to recognize the worth, the dignity, the rights of Man...that state is obsolete." -Rod Serling
Keyrock
Did you know Google Stadia launches in less than a week? Neither did I until just now. Anyway, here's the list of launch titles: Quote Assassin's Creed Odyssey Destiny 2: The Collection (included with Stadia Pro subscription) Gylt Just Dance 2020 Kine Mortal Kombat 11 Red Dead Redemption 2 Rise of the Tomb Raider Samurai Shodown Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Thumper Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2019/11/only-12-games-will-be-available-on-google-stadia-in-time-for-nov-19-launch/ That's a good launch line up... a year ago. Anyway, while I currently have zero interest in using Stadia, I will be keeping an eye on it. I am curious as to how it will perform, both in terms of its profitability and in terms of how the games play (i.e. latency, service uptime, the supposed benefits to multiplayer, etc.) Edited November 13, 2019 by Keyrock 1 1 RFK Jr 2024 "Any organization created out of fear must create fear to survive." - Bill Hicks

LadyCrimson
I guess FFXV is going to Stadia now. Haha! With exclusive new (small) content to boot. "We don't want to work on the game anymore but if it'll boost sales here's a few more tiny extras to inspire you to try Stadia." Bite me. Although I wouldn't care about those extras much anyway, some kind of mini-game/racing stuff. I'd be curious how the relatively demanding game (if you want it to look its best anyway) performs being streamed like that, but not curious enough. Stadia itself sounds like something most people shouldn't be buying into yet, regardless. Giant beta and with Google's record of dumping/leaving projects that don't meant expectations, I'd worry they'll just abandon it if they don't get their act together/it fails to be as huge as they want in the longer run. “Things are as they are.
