ShadySands Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 (edited) ^I just want to curse fig trees Japan Nominated Trump for Nobel Peace Prize Because White House Asked Turns out President Donald Trump wasn’t lying about being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe did indeed put Trump’s name forward for the coveted prize last year. But it turns out he did so only after the White House “informally” asked Abe’s administration to nominate Trump following his historic meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in Singapore, according to Japanese newspaper Asahi. Guard Dog Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 He'd never win. He hasn't bombed enough people yet. Probably give it to Maduro "While it is true you learn with age, the down side is what you often learn is what a damn fool you were before" Thomas Sowell
ShadySands Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 I just thought it was amusing that he asked to be nominated Free games updated 3/4/21
Zoraptor Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 He'd never win. He hasn't bombed enough people yet. Obama hadn't bombed anyone at all (yet) when he won, so there's precedent. Trump winning for North Korea would probably be more legit than Obama's win since Obama had done precisely nothing apart from not being GWBush at the time.
ShadySands Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Besides that Trump has bombed plenty, it just isn't really news anymore but I guess that's just generational wars for you. Free games updated 3/4/21
Gromnir Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 One of my favorite office quotations seems appropriate at this time: am knowing is a joke, but reality is a goodly % our work-related emergencies is precise 'cause somebody planned poor. clients rare come to Gromnir for help when they first realize they got a problem. is proverbial 11th hour when we get a call asking if so-n'-so can show up at office asap. as often as not, people want a tro for yesterday. also, happens less nowadays, but if somebody slight higher up the food chain blunders, we will be called 'pon to fix. if p00p is rolling downhill, is almost always emergency p00p . 'bout 5% emergencies is 'cause o' our poor planning. have been doing our job for a goodly period o' time and nevertheless we infrequent manage to prioritize wrong. most common aspect o' our poor planning is 'cause somebody nominal under our immediate supervision to whom we has entrusted limited autonomy fails to plan proper and doesn't let us know they has gotten upside down until situation becomes an emergency. their mistake is our mistake. remaining 1-2% is so-called act o' god stuff. we attempt to plan for act of god, but in rare situations, finagle's law makes a mockery o' such efforts... so is fair to actual make this part o' Gromnir's blunders. regardless, we would have a whole lotta free time if not for other folks' emergencies. SonicMage117 Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 I'm taking this as sarcasm? It sounds more someone trying too hard or at least exaggeration of the Christ-like general idea lol Though it would have been much catchy if the person put "What would Jesus do?" At the end. Just what do you think you're doing?! You dare to come between me and my prey? Is it a habit of yours to scurry about, getting in the way and causing bother? What are you still bothering me for? I'm a Knight. I'm not interested in your childish games. I need my rest. Begone! Lest I draw my nail...

Hurlshort Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 Capitalist Jesus doesn't really sound right, though.
smjjames Posted February 18, 2019 Posted February 18, 2019 I don't remember anything about Jesus attacking anybody with a whip, though if it was a politician, it'd have to have been a low level one that Rome didn't give a damn about. The only time I know of that Jesus used violence is when he kicked out the merchants from the temple square with... his fists? I don't think it says how, just that he kicked them out.
