I am seething with rage right now, I have just boarded the ship at Vilario's Rest before I meant to do so, and wished to disembark again to get crew. However I can find no way to do this anywhere, I have read through the tutorials and there is no mention of disembarking at all. This is incredibly poor imo, can someone please help me here??

Do you mean you climbed up on to the ship? You can click an area near the front of the ship to climb down again. Holding tab should highlight it.

I think he means going to a port which would mean the anchor icon on island when in sea navigation mode.

You are sailing in the ship? Sail around the island to port maje and click on the port, then the map comes up with options to dock, you can also supply your ship and hire crew without needing to disembark at all in the same map menu.

I don't know what to say. Oh wait. I do.

Vilario's Rest is not a dockable location, you have to sail around the island to Port Maje. I know I did the same thing but in hindsight it makes perfect sense since Vilario's Rest is a beach and having your ship stuck there was the problem in the first place

Isn’t there a quest right after you board the ship that says sail to PORT MAJE to pick up supplies and crew?

Wow, absolutely furious? You must get a heart attack whenever you leave the house. Talk about first world problems.

Your ship was *shipwrecked*. Trying to go on land on some random beach would shipwreck it again. You need to use actual ports or natural harbors marked as such.

 

Also, you might want to learn a bit about anger management if this made you furious.

I didn't figure out how to get crew in port maje in my first playthrough, but it's not the end of the world to get them in Neketaka, it just costs more haha.

Lmao i had this exact problem. Until I gave up clicking around the edge if the island and then discovered the anchor icon. I followed that up with an actual /facepalm
