  1. Please add keyboard & mouse Support for Ground on Xbox, if it's not already implanted. With there being Full keyboard & Mouse support on Xbox there really shouldn't be any reason why this game shouldn't have keyboard & mouse support allowing gamers on Xbox to have the option play using a Controller or keyboard & mouse . Gamers such as myself want to see more games taking advantage of the support by Devs adding the feature into there games for Xbox , just as they have support on Xbox Game pass Ultimate on PC every title that's on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate that has keyboard & mouse support on PC should have the same for the game titles on XBOX. OBSIDIAN and every other games studio within Microsoft Studios should make sure to use every feature possible ( if the game allows it ) if the game is able to run on PC & utilize keyboard & mouse then they should do the same on Xbox , Especially when the game title isn't a Online multiplayer title. But that aside keep up the great work OBSIDIAN looking forward to playing Grounded & seeing everything else to come from this studio in the future

  3. As all we know, XBox has a mouse/keyboard support. But why you didn't apply this option? To be honest, keyboard is working well - WASD, Shift, Spacebar and oher keys, eccept ability to change keys layout, but mouse do not work at all. For now i have to use Venom-X to play. I don't think, that it's too hard for you, to implement this future to your game. A lot of people will thank you. Sorry for my English
  4. So for 40 years i'm used to PC games triggers on keyboard down and up events i.e when i press a button it start to do something and when i release the button it stops doing that thing. For Outerworlds I active sprint or crouch pressing the button and i deactive said function by pressing the button again. It drives me NUTS! and bascially prevents me from playing the game Is there any any way i can configure game to behave like it should (i know its my opinion) but it is rather standard behavior for PC game to behave like that I mean thats how the WASD key works so why not same behavior for shift and ctrl?!   5. I'm on linux and I cannot use the "space" key to paus/unpause and the default keybindings for the map, inventory, character, aso. What does work is stealth (Ctrl), the tab key and escape. When I try to set a keybinding only a few keys work and none of the letters (it just stays "Set" and waits for input). I downloaded the game from GOG. I tried to attach a Player.log file to this post, but I get a "Error You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file"
  6. Hello folks. It seems i m having an issue with keybinds. They work eraticaly. yesterday when i started the game, i changed a few binds and those i changed were not working, today on my second session, even those i didnt change are not working anymore (example I for opening inventory or ESC to open the menu) I can still go in the keybind menu and assign keys and they are being recognised in that menu and not in game. Does someone else have a similar issue and knows how to fix it ? (I'm on an azery keyboard) Thanks
  7. Description: I recently purchased and installed and have been really enjoying the game since then without any noticeable issues playing directly on my laptop. When connected to my TV via HDMI cable (working perfectly fine as I type this) and in the game, the UI seems to be partially unresponsive or buggy for mouse commands and doesn't seem to respond at all to my wireless keyboard. Steps to Reproduce the Issue: 1. Plug TV into Laptop's HDMI slot 2. Gather snacks 3. Load up game via Steam 4. Frown inconsolably at the lack of functionality Savegames As I have played fine without the TV before and after I discovered this problem, I don't think this is applicable.   8. Hi, Hitting any of the number keys does not select a character nor select an action/answer on story screen when using a french keyboard. I tried the 3 different mappings: French, French numerical, French PC without success. Switching the keyboard mapping to english fixed the issue but changes all the shortcuts which is not very easy to play. That and having to switch keyboard before launching the game. I tested this issue over two Macbook pro and one iMac with builtin keyboard, usb keyboard and bluetooth keyboard. They all have the same problem. On the usb keyboard however the keypad is actually working. I tested this issue on a french Windows 7 PC and the keys were working perfectly. On all the tests I was using the default shortcuts. System info: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014) Processor 2,8 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB
  9. Hello As I've written in the topic, when I press "2" on keyboard, it selects the entire party instead of just that one character. It's important to note, this problem appeared suddenly, after entering the catacombs in Defiance Bay. Things I've tried to do to fix it: Loading a quicksave [still inside catacombs], loading an autosave [inside the catacombs, right after entering], quitting and re-launching the game, changing party members between that slot, reconfiguring keybinds, resetting them to default, and restarting my PC. But, when I loaded an earlier save before entering the catacombs, that didn't happen. Entered the catacombs again, and it didn't happen aswell. I was out of combat when testing all of that, and without any buffs / debuffs on my party. So it's not really an issue anymore. The problem is, that save I loaded to fix it was when I just arrived at Defiance Bay, which means I had to do everything I already did all over again

I know it is really early to talk about this aspect of the game, but I've been playing some of the older games and I wish that some of these shortcut keys were a little bit more logical and made playing real-time easier, not harder. One example is the quickcast in Baldur's Gate 2. It was not a logical approach, and I really doubt most people would use keyboard shortcuts for quick-cast. Anyway, I'll talk more about this when we have some engine mechanics fleshed out, but I really wish that the shortcut keys would be implemented in a way that allows for "RTS-like" play. Like I said, I can't give a good implementation of this right now, but when I see more of the mechanics, I think I can give a better layout. Also, please allow us to utilize Shift+click, Alt+click, and ctrl+click.
  11. Please make sure there are hotkeys for everything. OK, maybe the design will necessitate having to use the mouse once in a while, but whenever possible, have there be a keypress for it too. Obviously, using a mouse for everything should and probably already will be doable as well, but for those of us who know how to use a keyboard, it's fantastic to have that choice. Thanks for reading!
