given what kreia says at the end of the game about Korriban, I think that it should play a part in KotoR 3. As long as they make the area a hell of a lot bigger and actually make an effort to make Korriban worth while, I think it would work...

check posts #38 and #39, genius...

Yes... Especially if Vash's apprentice is also around... " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actully, that's Kaah

it should be noted that you don't need to waste the Cryogenic Power Cell on the pylons if you use Bao Dur or T3-M4. You can have him "optmize" the power supply to the pylons and have then all working at the same time. And about fixing the Airspeeder: have Bao-Dur, T3-M4, and/or Atton in your party (whoever you want to get influence with). Put all of the parts on the airspeeder then have one of them look at it. Have Atton look at it first, compliment him, then have either Bao-Dur or T3-M4 look at it and they'll get it working a lot better, compliment them, and there you have it. Use Atton, then one of the others and you'll get influence with two different party members.

What's wrong with using Tatooine again? It's a classic planet. And maybe they can have a sarlac pit like BioWare Intended to have in the first game. They need to add a lot of elements that pay homage to the original game (because it's a classic) and the movies. Maybe they go to Taris for some reason...they could have some rakgouls add stuff. They could have a trash compactor puzzle, like BioWare intended to have in the first game. Have a scene where our heros have to go on board a ship and rescue Bastila. That's where they could have the trach compactor puzzle. I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I think adding elements from the movies like that would really make this a good game. I don't like copying a bunch of stuff, but if they were to add little bit from each movie and the original game, this could be quite a game.

sometimes if I a star out one class and go another way when I get the Prestige Class (Sentinel/Jedi Master, etc) I'll have one Lightsaber be my first Class Color and the other one be my Prestige Class Color. This last time I was a Guardian/Jedi Watchman. I would have gone Cyan and Bronze/Orange, but for some reason the Cyan Lightsaber never turns off, so I went with Silver. Going with two colors is always cool because it's less boring.

you know, as powerful as Revan is it's entirely possible that he can see into the future. It was predicting what would happen...he knew what would happen. Or it could have been a random vison that he had...not something that he can control. Also, about HK-47: maybe his memory will return when he runs into Revan in K3...you know, just like in K1...hell, anything is possible at this point. This is the Force we're talking about. At this point, Malak himself could drop out of the sky and I wouldn't bat an eyelash.

so, how do you go about getting either Hanharr or Mira if you're playing as a grey jedi? (I kind of like the English spelling better, too) do you just go one way or the other for a little while or what? I mean, it seem like there's no way to stay neutral the whole time because of that.

yes, korriban is the home planet of the sith; the planet where they came from. but that is not where they currently reside. they fled into the unknown regions, where they are now dormant, until K3 rolls around

well, I was asking why everyone called them Force Masks because it seemed like a few people were making a fuss about non-Force Sensitives wearing them.

I look back at my saved games, silly... I can't remember all of my K1 names because I deleted some of my first saved games, but I did come up with some good ones: Val'marn Dahst Cal'han Trahst (my favorite playthrough...took on the Star Forge solo that time) (they're cousins)

Well, I keep playing because I know that I haven't heard every single piece of dialog. As a matter of fact, every single playthrough I heard a new piece of dialog. Just this last time, as a a LSF Exile and LSM Revan I got to see the holo recording that Bastila left in T3-M4. Also, I've beat the game 8 times and I still have't even touched the Jedi Counselor/Jedi Master/Sith Lord classes. And plus, I'd like to try and get light/dark side mastery for my companions...at least some of them anway. I've only gotten Lightside Mastery for Atton once...and that was a while back. Also, Iv'e never gotten good influence with Hanharr before. But finally on my ninth playthough, I'm playing as a Jedi Counselar. But I've given it a rest for a while, so I've been playing Thief 3 these past couple of days.

I thought that dialog was cut. From what I could tell from listening to it, it seems like Mandalore is injured or incapacitated in battle and Visas comes to his aid, addressing him as Canderous, asking him if he's okay. And that's when he spills his guts. It seems like it was supposed to be triggered sometime around the confrontation with Nihilis.

It's actually not. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> \ Hey...come out of Lala Land, will you? Star Wars is classified as Science Fiction.

1. Da'von Jeth LS 2. Tanath Kark DS 3. Ta'lana Sunrider LS 4. Wynsa Qel-Droma DS 5. Vaelan Diath LS 6. Vilan Naad DS 7. Dathe Windu LS 8. Adani Culu LS 9. Koeliv Lu'Kan (my own Star Wars name)

I think we're calling them that cause that's what they call them in the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Since when are they all refered to as Force Masks in the game? The Force Shielding Visor, Shielding Visor, Advanced Shielding Visor, etc. all look exactly the same. As in, there is no way to tell them apart just by looking at them. The masks that the mercenaries are wearing could be any one of those.

do your chances of getting Jolee's robe increase if you're neutral? I imagine there aren't enough of you that played through as neutral to know either way eh?

We're talking about the Star Wars universe, here...You're mind is still in the real world. Believe, it all sounds silly, I know. But the Star Wars universe is bizarr. They had lightsabers in the "ancient" times. It's a universe that is both more advanced and less advanced than our own. Remember the Rakata Droid in the ruins on Dantooine? That droid was over 10, 000 years old. Mind you, the little guy was in one spot the whole time, but didn't do a whole lot of moving around. We don't know how "their" technology works. The things that they have, the weapons they use, the droids, their spacecraft...that's all highly advanced, but the way that they live, and setting itself gives everything about the Star Wars universe a very antiquated feel. Yes, metal around here rusts and whatnot, but they don't have the same periodic table that we have. They have highly advanced alloys that resist corrosion regardless of the environment or time spent in it. It's a f***ed up world, I know. But just try to stay opened minded about all of this. After all...it's science fiction.
-
why does everyone insist on thinking that they're Force Masks? They could be Shielding Visors (they protect against energy, electrical, and sonic, etc.), for that matter... and there are masks that protect against force powers (Force Shielding Visor), but also inhibit the wearer's wisdom and whatnot...not a big deal for non-force senstives.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: make it longer. At least 1.5 the size of the last two. (from 40 hrs. long to 60 hrs long.....at least) K1 and K2 are the kinds of games that I don't want to end. I always feel so sad watching the credits roll. And bring back Jeremy Soule...

You're taking an Assasin Droid from the Star Wars galaxy and comparing it to a personal computer from around here. Something build to kill any lifeform, organic or artificial, at a moment's notice (and survive combat) and...a personal computer and no one said that HK-47 was supposed to have been active for the entire 4,000 years. He could have been in storage or found dismemebered it the wreckage of a 4,000-year-old republic freighter... Honestly, in a universe where the Force, lightsabers, hyperspace travel, +20-ton spacecraft levitating off the ground, and war "droids" dropping from orbit and landing softly on the ground...are all entirely possible and considered somewhat normal....well....I'm willing to believe just about anything...

hey, for some reason mine won't go to full screen. It only stays in windowed mode. is there any way to go to full screen? also, do you think there might be more updates in the near future? I have version 1.02 and I was just wondering if I ought to get this new one, version 1.04, or wait a week or so and see what's next...

Mandalore quests and the Light Side
Jambo replied to Luke Skywhacker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
well, if you kill Davrel, Mandalore says, "I heard you gave Davrel a warrior's death. Perhaps you know more of our ways than I thought." It was because you honored him with battle and he died like a warrior. That's why no Dark Side Point are awarded. It's not like you started the fight. Davrel was just being a little b*tch because you beat him in the battle circle... -
I was thinking that you would start out as a Sith in training and you get to either go along with it or go to the light side. I think this was mentioned a number of time before. Korriban is a MUST. Remember what Kreia said about Korriban?
