Wish List Force Powers: Master Lightsaber Throw: basically throw farther and throw both Lightsabers if dual wielding...or if you're dual wielding, the offhand lightsaber hits opponents in the opposite order that your main hand hits them in. Force Grab, Pull, Grip, Grapple, Grasp...whatever...this basically gives you the power to manipulate inanimate objects, like furniture, computers, decommissoned droids, and weapons...and if you grad a weapon, you get the little pop-up window that says "You Have Received (insert name of item)." But, you get the idea... Improved Drain Life: that we not going through half a dozen level ups before you can get Death Field...this Force Power would work the same way on opponents as Disable Droid and Force Lightning in that it only effects opponents in the vicinity of each other...but you get the idea... Get rid of about half of the rediculous Force Powers that Obsidian added (Force Deflection, to name one) or make them more realistic, like Battle Meditation...make it so only a select few can use this and they can only use it if they are not engaged in combat and it lasts as long as the character using it has Force Point, e.i. the character sits down and meditates and uses up force points the whole time....and it can only be used in certain situations, not everytime your moral is a tad low.

Micro-Pulse Blasters or Zabrak Heavy Blaster....use the Advanced Combat Implant and Multi-Spectral Target Assesssors, and you'll own...the only thing is since you need the implant in order to use the target assessors, everytime you go to a load screen (change area or reload) you have to reequip the target assessors... I'm not sure about the rifle...I've always had good luck with the Zersium rifle, Repeating blaster, and heavy repeating blaster...

I'm not totally convinced that it's a type... Laura Vash...that's a typo...Mandalore 5...that's a typo. "Master Vash

in KotOR 1, the PC version has the Yavin Space Station, where you can get some very pricey, but very useful items, like the Heart of the Guardian and Mantle of the Force Crystals. And there's some other stuff like super powerful ranged weapons, droid upgrades, visors, human upgrades, and some kick*ss armor, too. This was supposed to be available to Xbox users via Xbox Live, but I guess they never did it. In KotOR 2, everything is the same, to my knowledge, except the Xbox version still has the modules for the droid planet M4-78 and the Droid Factory on Telos. These are not on the PC version, but they are still not accessable on the Xbox version, even though they're still on the disk. If you have PC capable of running KotOR 1 or 2, I'd recommend getting KotOR 1, since it's only $20, and wait until KotOR 2 gets down to about $20 and get it, too. Yavin Station is quite interesting for as small as it is and M4-78 and the droid factory are fun to explore....

Okay, I downloaded and installed the patch that was released, version 2.0, I believe. Anyway, in the read me it says that when installed, if you kill Master Vash her corpse will yield a yellow light saber. Of course, her corpse yields a yellow lightsaber already...because she's already dead...duh! So, I'm starting to wonder...wha if you have to play the game a certain way or beat the game a certain number of times in order to make Lonna Vash be alive....you know, like the thing where on the third playthrough, if you're a male, Handmaiden will take out her mother's robe once you have enough influence and you trigger the right conversation... Could the Lonna Vash thing be the same way? I mean, since the dialog is still there...it's entirely possible. I'm not done playing until I see Lonna Vash alive and well...only to kill her myself! But seriously, why would they read me say something so bizarre? I mean, you would think that the developer's would know that Lonna Vash always shows up dead...any thoughs?

well, it was worth it because I've never been able to do it before, as I said in my first post...I was ecstatic...
-
how do you get the Galaxy Droid? any way to punch in a cheat code or download something?
-
yeah, well it was never easy at all for me... I almost did it last time, but when we got to talking about Hanharr and why she didn\t kill him, I did NOT select "You've paid the price for your weakness. Next time do not hesitate." I didn\t select it because I was being a goody two shoes. But right now I'm at least 3/4 light side and Mire is even Darker than I am. I got everyone, but Bao-Dur. He won't say anything because "he had a bad time on Dxun." aahh, boo hoo...
-
where did you get this DVD? I'd sure like to get a copy. Hopefully it's more accurate than the book...you all know what I'm talking about...

You see ladies and gents...THIS is what makes the game fun: a challenge. I started off with the intention of being Dark Side, doing every single Dark Side thing that I could think of, then doing every Light Side thing I could think of until I got to 3/4 Light Side because I decided I wanted to get Mira and finally make her into a Jedi, instead of that giant, walking Furby®. Then once I finally got off the droid yacht, I did everything Dark Side thing I could possibly think of, in the presence of HK-47 and/or GO-TO to get some Influence points while I'm at it, and I pulled it off. I swear that was a challenge. I was scrambling all over, going through the first half of the Onderon/Dxun trip doing every single DS thing possible and gaining some influence with HK-47, going back to Dantooine to forge the salvager's will to get some DS points (I intentionally saved that for later). Going back to Nar Shadaa to bet on the swoop race and demand my money back, sabotage the swoop racing droid, then race and Force Persuade the anouncer to give me all of the winnings and finally I went back to Korriban to go through Ludo Kressh's tomb and get to 3/4 Dark Side. Mind you I'm doing all of this crap while I'm still at Level 15 because I wasn't 3/4 DS. But at the end of the day, it was all worth it. I've got Atton, Disciple, and Mira all Jedis. Bao-Dur is on the way. I swear the second that Mira said that she would accept my training...I...was...ecstatic. After 6 games, 4 of them with Mira, I finally converted that difficult little b*tch. That was nerve racking as hell. I was worried that I wasn't going to pull it off... You couldn't have pulled that off in the first game...no way in hell. There aren't enough Light Side and Dark Side deeds in the game to pull that off, but damn if I'm not going to try... Damn...I need a drink.

how to know if you play to much kotor

#3.....Guilty as charged!!! I actually have a lady friend (not girl friend) who loves Stars Wars even more than I do and I think she actually might get a kick out of Pazaak.\ And just for the record, I haven't made a Pazaak deck, yet... there's got to be a way to do that. You know those sheets of business cards you can print them out yourself? There's got to be a way you can ge a hold of some blank playing cards...just set the printer just right and do them one at time...hahaha Okay, okay, okay...yes, I have been playing KotOR WAY too much. I've started to think and talk differently, too. Just random situations. I'll have to make a note next time I slip up... -
Oh, sh*t!!! I remember that... I remember some people talking about a "Galaxy Droid"...THE Galaxy Droid. I wish we knew a little more about it, though. I'll have to scan through the sound files and see what I can come up with...

Standard Characters Vs Choice Characters
Jambo replied to Kata_mad's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
it's a tough call. choice characters give the game more replayablilty, but like Outlaw Jedi 1 said, "It seems tha the standard characters are given more depth and purpose to them anyway, so that gets my vote." So, if there was some way that they could combine the two, I would be all for that. But even though I voted for choice characters, I feel that I should have voted for the standard ones. I guess I just like the idea that those are the characters that I'm stuck with. They're with me no matter what my alignment is...not that they have a choice, though... -
Really, I think that they should at least have Tatooine in KotOR 3 because, I mean come on, it's a classic...the planet, that is. I mean, I really appreciated Obsidian having Dantooine and Korriban in KotOR 2; I felt a little bit nostalgic. I want to get that feeling back. Having one or two of the old planets would definitely help the game out. Korriban is definitely a must, too. Does anyone else remember what Kreia said about Korriban at the end of the game?

] YES YES YES I LOVE IT!!!! You, Sir, are on the ball. #4. is DEFINITELY a winner. I'm guessing you got the idea from the recording of the Exile's trial in KotOR 2. I really liked that part, too. I think therem is DEFINITELY room for a few more scenes like that in KotOR 3, with Revan being there and all...

TSL Restoration Project: Work in Progress

a few months or so back there someone posted a thread or made a post in someone else's thread about how to find your Star Wars name, and I'll be damned because I can't find that thread or post anywhere. I remember you used the first 2, 3, or 4 letter of your first, last and or middle names. And combined them with the first 2, 3, or 4 letter of the town you were born in and the state you were born in. Anyone remember this?

I was really hoping for this thread to remain civil, but since some of you found it necessary to poke fun at my little "brain-fart"...... To me the terms Net Light Side Shift and Net Dark Side Shift just seemed like they would mean more than the obvious. I know what net loss and net gain are. I'm not as stupid as I came across to be, I just wasn't expecting to apply "net loss and gain" to a computer game. I wasn't in that frame of thought. I came across as somewhat angry because it was 12:30 at night and I was getting a little frusterated with the game because THE PATCH THAT I INSTALLED MAKES THE GAME RUN LIKE SH*T NOW...

What the hell does Net Light Side Shift and Net Dark Side Shift mean? And how are they different from the normal Light Side Points Gained and Dark Side Points Gained because I just got done talking to Atris for the first time in the game and I just got Dark Side Points Gained, Light Side Points Gained, and Net Dark Side Shift. And why in the hell doesn't Obsidian include this kind of information in the booklet?

if revan and/or exile are playableor nonplayable, it wouldn't be that hard to give players a number of faces to select from. I mean, it's no big secret that Revan will prpbably be making an appearance. It's jus a matter of when. Or someone else said that maybe if an NPC asks you do identify Revan from a picture. Even though you would get to select what revan and/or exile look like and therefor be expecting to see him/her, it would still be somewhat of a shock to see either of them. Especially Revan...
-
I don't know how many times I've said that.
-
exactly. instead of talking about what KotOR 3 is going to about (okay, that's bullsh*t) Okay, in addition to talking about KotOT 3, we should also start discussing whoe we think will or should do it... Honestly, I'd like to see BioWare come back and do it. Let them finish what they started. Just like with the Die HArd Trilogy, only difference is KotOR 3 should be much better than the original...yeah, I know; pretty hard to pull off. Well, here's an idea. with the True Sith, how about a short cinematic lightsaber battle between the third in command (T.I.C.) (apprentence to the apprentence) and the first in command, and the T.I.C wins. And the former third in command will be the boss at the end. Or better yet, if you take the dark path, you end up as the third in command. Oh, well. just an idea...

YES, YES, YES!!! Finally, a good idea!!!
