Depending on who does the 3D you can keep the glasses; REAL-D has cheaper glasses that you keep, IMAX 3D (and I think maybe Disney 3D) have big bulky glasses that are returned to the company as a way to keep costs down. I've never gotten eye strain from watching one of the new 3D films so I'm not sure what to say about that. I don't go looking for films in 3D; but the new format for them can lead to some fun images and creates and interesting depth of field view of the action. But beside all of that, I thought MONSTERS VS ALIENS was good without the gimickry.

Monsters Vs Aliens Lots of fun action-adventure film with a sense of humor. Also a lot of homages to 50s Sci-Fi/horror films, so double fun for me. Add in IMAX 3D and it was quite the experience. I think I grinned during the entire movie. Now my face is sore.

Eh, 2001 was okay, but I kinda agree with a friend who said that the people who got the most out of the movie were probably stoned in the theater when it came out originally. While I kinda like the film, its definately what I'd call "ponderous" in its pacing (others might use "plodding").

Maths
In that event, zero is the original imaginary number. Not really, zero can be quite adequately be represented as the absence of the objects used to represent numbers; if you have 5 apples on a table and remove 5 your lack of apples is 0. samm - Physics? Why'd it have to be physics...give me the abstract world of mathmatics any day.

While I thought Solyaris was fairly slow paced and frankly difficult to get through, I ultimately found the film enjoyable even if I doubt I'll ever watch it again.

I always took imaginary to mean the numbers which could not be represented by objects as opposed to non-existant.

Marvel is making their own films, and since they leveraged the rights to certain characters in order to make sure that they got the financing, they kinda have to make a bunch of movies. But they also seem to be an easy blockbuster these days, there are tonnes of superhero characters licensed for movies. Tonnes! Of course there are some non-superhero characters that have been licensed as well. Josh Brolin in horror-western Jonah Hex for example. When has Hollywood not made remakes (or adaptions from other sources)?

So who was it that walked down the hallway behind the interview at 1:48? Speculation?

That's a bit like saying you're tired of them adapting novels into movies, innit? Why would the source matter?

Watched DARK FLOORS the Lordi film. It had a nice premise, but I could kinda tell by how the story progressed what was going to end up happening.

Watchmen; given that no adaption is going to be perfect (that's why it exists in its original media), I thought they did a decent job adapting the story to the screen. Not perfect, but what is?

If you've never been able to enjoy a film with Steven Segal or Don "The Dragon" Wilson, or if you weren't able to enjoy the charms of say Gymkata or Best of the Best 3: No Turning Back, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li might not be for you

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li - kind of an odd fish, really. It takes a small slice of the Street Fighter backstory (specifically, how Chun-Li got involved in trying to take down Shadowloo prior to the original Street Fighter game) and essentially makes a late 80s/early 90s "martial arts" film about it (you know the kind that mixed average gun fights and chases in with martial arts fighting that show up on local TV stations on weekend afternoons). Neil McDonough and Michael Clarke Duncan are quite hissable as villains. Kristen Kreuk and Robin Shou do well as heroes. Robin Shou is really good as Gen; its a pity he hasn't had more of a major career, I think. Kreuk manages to be a good deal more believable as Chun-Li than I'd have guessed when I first heard about the film much to the films benefit. Chris Klien - as Nash - may be the only actor I've seen able to chew scenery as one of the good guys. He is all over the place, putting his all in every scene, walking like he owns the place, growling, scowling, shooting at people and making some very odd expressions. Its almost like he's in a complete other film, one which I'd be interested to see just to find out the context for his performance. Biggest problem is the editing; the film feels hacked up and I think that the order of some incidents may actually not be presented in the order they were planned to happen in the script. F Day of the Animals - Leslie Nelson wrestles a bear, Christopher George, Michael Ansara, and Richard Jaeckel wrestle dogs in this "environment goes crazy" disaster styled horror film. Worth watching for Leslie Nelson going from annoying ad-man to over-the-top wild-man. He also gets the best lines "I think with my head; most people think with their butts!"

Would you ever consider making a DS game?
Tetris: The Role Playing Game. 7 races (red, white, magenta, green, dark blue, cyan, brown ) 7 classes (I, J, L, O, S, T, Z.) No RPG can boast such customizable characters! You play as the chosen tetronomino, raised from childhood by a unique monastic order tasked with solving social ills of the world by uniting the 7 races to form a powerful block to fight against the oncoming oblivion that threatens the world from the Edge of the Screen.
