Akinator
Once again, Akinator's knowledge of 1940s era Comic Book characters comes up sorely lacking (beat it twice more).

What you did today
As long as I can find a piece (or more) of flint (assuming I don't start with one), I can start a fire. I've never managed the friction on sticks method of fire starting though. I can identify some edible plants but I'd probably have to ignore a lot of ones that were edible for not being sure. And I have no clue how to dress game. So yeah I'll be with Gfted1 in three weeks.

Probably wouldn't have mattered, as I think Snipes was so upset with the direction of the third one he was looking at other properties to work with (he had eyed Black Panther for awhile).

A couple of times. Itsu his wife sometime right after WWII, Mariko Yashida more recently (like in the last decade or so) that I can think off of the top of my head.

There's rumours of a third alternate ending, but that's the one I saw (had heard about the Wolverine one ).

I think Frank Miller had no idea what to do with the material. So he made up a bunch of crap that the actors then had no idea what to do with. The original Spirit comic stuff is fairly straightforward stuff. The movie is just total crap. I dunno Yeah I know the scale of things, the degree is vastly different, but conceptually its roughly the same idea so - given the radical departure the X-Films have been from the source material - it doesn't seem a major leap to me. Personally, I thought it was a fun film. Not X-Men or X-Men 2 level, but better than X-Men 3. A fun straight forward blow stuff up action film. Its very much Commando with Mutants though.

Easily one of the worst films I've ever been subjected to. Its sad when the most entertaining part of the film is listening to the lady behind you in the theater whispering to her companions "Does this make any sense to you? This **** doesn't make any sense to me. What the hell is this even about?"

Maybe he's just a cruel person, too.

My brute
Yeah sometimes it seems like total luck of the draw on who beats who. I just put the level down to try and get some sympathy for my poor performance.

My brute
Won my first fight (against a lvl 3 Brute - http://amentep.mybrute.com/tf/6847507 ), lost - some might argue I was unmercifully ground under the heel of my opponent - in the second match (against a lvl 7 Brute - http://amentep.mybrute.com/tf/6913043 ) Kinda fun. Will go back to normal fights for awhile, though I think.

Well I managed to sign up for a tournament. So I guess Tomorrow I get to lose to the word.

My brute
So - stupid question - how do you sign up for the tounaments? Do you have to be at a certain level, have a certain number of wins, just be on at the right time or what?

Well I submitted a request to join up with the Obsidian Legion

Obsidian making Fallout: New Vegas
I honestly didn't see this coming. But psychic powers were always my weak spot. Still, something to look forward to.

Hats
It is really only for special occasions.

Hats
It all depends on the search, as this was on the first page for me.. The thing to remember about hats back when they were worn regularly is that hats weren't (just) style accessories, they were worn for a reason (to keep sun off the head and out of the eyes, to keep the rain away). While there were certain elements of style involved (Like top hat and tails anyone?), they were like coats. A coat (or overcoat, if you prefer) could fit in with a look but once you went indoors, it was dispensed with until you went back out. Which is something most modern-day hat wearers (and coat wearers) have trouble with as there aren't very many places a person can put a hat anymore and not lose it. If I wear a hat, its typicaly a baseball cap and its to keep the sun out of my eyes and from beating down on the top of my head where my hair is thinner and more prone to the sun's rays. But I've been looking into getting some other hat to wear as baseball caps don't work with a tie.

Chandu the Magician - kind of interesting to see such an early action film. Lots of early film gimicks (and a couple of early film story telling techniques that haven't aged very well). But overall pretty fun. Bela Lugosi is good as the evil Roxor.

This is one of the few movies that absolutely made me angry when I saw it in the theaters.

Legendary Bugs & Flaws
I had a bug in Arcanum that once the cultist left my party my inventory was FUBARed making it impossible to continue on as I lost main quest related items to the ether.

Depending on who does the 3D you can keep the glasses; REAL-D has cheaper glasses that you keep, IMAX 3D (and I think maybe Disney 3D) have big bulky glasses that are returned to the company as a way to keep costs down. I've never gotten eye strain from watching one of the new 3D films so I'm not sure what to say about that. I don't go looking for films in 3D; but the new format for them can lead to some fun images and creates and interesting depth of field view of the action. But beside all of that, I thought MONSTERS VS ALIENS was good without the gimickry.

Monsters Vs Aliens Lots of fun action-adventure film with a sense of humor. Also a lot of homages to 50s Sci-Fi/horror films, so double fun for me. Add in IMAX 3D and it was quite the experience. I think I grinned during the entire movie. Now my face is sore.

Eh, 2001 was okay, but I kinda agree with a friend who said that the people who got the most out of the movie were probably stoned in the theater when it came out originally. While I kinda like the film, its definately what I'd call "ponderous" in its pacing (others might use "plodding").
