What you did Today: The Story of you
I would have taken off if I could. Going in sick is good for nobody, really. I *hate* going in sick and would only do it if there was no other alternative.

Last week I got the flu*. Felt miserable all last week, but also couldn't take time from work (already short two people). Felt better over the weekend. Unfortunately feeling better meant I could now fully appreciate how awful I felt. Yay? *not a scientific diagnosis- Forum Comments and Issues Repository
The moble version seems to not format correctly for me suddenly. Anyone else experience this?- Armchair theories on why POE2 didn't sell super well
Amentep replied to BrokenMask's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I just wanted to address the idea that Avellone wasn't 'well known' or used as a 'draw' for the first game. My thoughts on Deadfire's performance is that a multitude of factors probably played into it. The biggest factor though was that it was a known quantity 2nd time around, for both good and bad. It couldn't be all things to all people anymore.- Armchair theories on why POE2 didn't sell super well
Amentep replied to BrokenMask's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)FWIW, If you look at the Kickstarter it promotes Avellone, Sawyer and Cain - "Obsidian Entertainment and our legendary game designers Chris Avellone, Tim Cain, and Josh Sawyer are excited to bring you a new role-playing game for the PC. Project Eternity (working title) pays homage to the great Infinity Engine games of years past: Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment." Its pretty clear that Obsidian felt that these three developers had name recognition amid the people who were going to pledge for the game to be made.- Trailer difference??

I'm sure they wouldn't do it if the vast majority of players wouldn't go along with it. That said...- Politics Generations

Ditto. I only played Diablo III on consoles because I wasn't forced to be online only. Skipped PC entirely. Online only for Diablo iv on PC and consoles is confirmed, so that's that. I won't play it.- The Blockbuster Oscar Bait Movie Thread
The Dolemite film is, afaik, a dream project for Eddie Murphy. So I figured he'd be bringing his best.- Suggestion: Move out of Epic Games Store.
It wasn't Obsidian's decision afaik to go exclusive with EGS, but Private Division.- Supernova difficulty and Companions
Suggestions for improvement and changes have better visibility to the developers in one place, technical support. I can move it back if you wish.- Is it bad that...
Gives you something to do on a replay. I've read a lot more of the flavor text on a reply than I ever did on first run through for the same reason.- Physical PC Release?

I didn't hate TLJ. It went a bit overboard with trying to subvert expectations, IMO, but given the complaints that TFA was a retread...well... 🤔- The Blockbuster Oscar Bait Movie Thread
Even if it is crap (and I've enjoyed every Star Wars to some extent), its not like it's the end of life as we know it. Its just a movie.- Hey
Nope. No ones here. Turned off the lights ages ago.- The Blockbuster Oscar Bait Movie Thread
A lot of Italian horror films in my experience (and some of their other genre films) just don't really make sense. I love some of Fulci's films (the Gates of Hell trilogy particularly - CITY OF THE DEAD, THE BEYOND, THE HOUSE BY THE CEMETARY) but don't ask me what they meant or why things happened and in some instances what actually happened. I've learned I have a more enjoyable time if I just roll with what they offer.- The Blockbuster Oscar Bait Movie Thread
Aww, Viy's not bad (although it is done with a unique approach to pace and storytelling). I find a lot of Italian films work better if you think of them as working under dream logic. I know BLACK SUNDAY has a pretty solid reputation. I'd probably go with Bava's SHOCK or LISA AND THE DEVIL as better films, but its been years since I've seen any of them. - What you did Today: The Story of you
