Looks like the producers of FOXCATCHER submitted it as a Drama for the Globes - its the producers who submit under the category; the change allows the Hollywood Foreign Press to move dramas out of the category. Also...

It might make more sense if you read the link about the Golden Globes reclassifying UNCUT GEMS after the producers submitted it for consideration for "Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy". The Hollywood Foreign Press Association created new rules to allow them to move dramas out of the category after THE MARTIAN won "Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy". ...this is what I get for trying to be topical.

D. C. Fontana writer and story editor for a number of television shows over the years, but maybe best remembered for her work for Star Trek over the Original, Animated and Next Generation shows. I just finished watching THE FANTASTIC JOURNEY series she was story editor for.

Most likely unless you're contracted as work-for-hire or an actual employee, anything creative sent Obsidian's way on spec is roundfiled before it could get to anyone who actually works on a game.

Which game rules are you referring to? 2d10 is not the same as 1d20; the obvious difference is that the minimum roll on 2d10 is 2, while the minimum on 1d20 is 1. There are other differences in the probability of other specific rolls as well.

I would have taken off if I could. Going in sick is good for nobody, really. I *hate* going in sick and would only do it if there was no other alternative.

Last week I got the flu*. Felt miserable all last week, but also couldn't take time from work (already short two people). Felt better over the weekend. Unfortunately feeling better meant I could now fully appreciate how awful I felt. Yay? *not a scientific diagnosis
