Seems to me looking into the full quote of what Mr. Rose was discussing, he was already somewhat disappointed that he was asked to reprise the role only for Ackbar's scenes to get whittled down to him being blown out of the ship and nothing else. That they then asked him to come up front and be - to his feelings - the butt of a joke was just adding fuel to the fire.

So the Illithids seem to have performed a mass ceremorphosis in Baldur's Gate? I guess you could make the argument that they're keeping the idea of having the story be about family issues (Bhaal-Bhaalspawn; Illithid-Illithid kids) as the connective tissue of the stories.

My understanding is that is the case, and as I understand it Koenig's dad had trouble with "V"'s and "W"'s since IIRC Russian doesn't have a distinct v sound. This translated for Chekov as always swapping a W for a V which, IIRC, is what Yelchin thought was a weird choice. I seem to recall an interview with Yelchin where he said he intentionally did things with his accent that wasn't quite right because there were expectations about how Chekov should sound based on his previous portrayal.

I was somewhat surprised seeing critics criticizing GKOTM while claiming the human story was good in the 2014 Godzilla film since I thought it was rather pointless and the movie never really made me care about the human characters. PS: why do the giant monsters in old Gamera films always look vaguely bored?

Why is it illogical? Did the people making the decision not know Jon really wanted to be free to roam the north and not be a ruler in a city? (I don't watch GOT, probably will never watch it, so I don't know the answer. The way it was described to me was it was a reward for him that also cleanly tied up the succession of rule to the people who did want to rule).

Personally I didn't like the end of Seinfeld, but I also didn't like the last few seasons of Seinfeld, so at least it was consistent!

I did like TNG final episode. And the Psych one. Best ending for a series for me has to go to Newhart though.

Or people can just buy the stuff they feel they should have and can afford, ignore the "keeping up with the Joneses" trends, ignore the "why do you have so much stuff" trends and try not worry about whatever other trend rationale's to buy or keep stuff there may be. Understand that want is different from need. And in the end, if the Grandkids don't want the stuff you don't want to keep yourself? Sell it. Give it to a charity to sell. Give it away to other people who want it. Trash it. Why do antiques have any value? Its because sometimes people don't want to keep on to old stuff (combined with wars, moves, disasters and general lack of appreciation). It happens periodically that the next generation rejects the previous. It will always happen periodically. If it comes time to, in my old age, relinquish my possessions and my surviving family don't want to take anything, its no skin off my back. Not everyone likes the same things I like and hold on to.

Most schools that care will know race/ethnicity of the applicant before they ever receive SAT scores through their application anyhow. SAT providing information most colleges track already would be pointless.
