I'm with Indira here and, as a big fan of DA:O, am loving the direction the combat has taken in this latest patch. Now, please tone down VFX and improve readability and visibility.

Much prefer combat now, speed is better and balance seems much more on point. As discussed above readability still has it's issues.

List of Prios to Fix until the Early 2015 Release
I would like combat UI/feedback to continue to be fine tuned as it's taking positive steps but is still a little way off the near perfection I'm sure they can achieve. +Balancing

Pillars of Eternity Delayed
As someone who was too young to appreciate the old IE games I'm dead excited for this game. So, I hope OE take as much time as is necessary to allow me to experience what most of you guys did 10+ years ago. Keep up the good work.

Alongside removing grazes, I feel we should remove minimum damage through armor. If your DT is too high you shouldn't take damage.

I thought rogue was to be a front line class
I think I'm one of few that love the Rogue. Granted it needs more options with regards to talents/skills etc but I'm using him to swoop in and kill a distracted enemy then retreat once he's drawn aggro. It's actually quite fun.

Stacking up to a limit would be a good idea IMO.

I think it works pretty well. I would ask people who have said they don't like it to put forward ideas that would work better. 'Constructive' criticism is key.

With regards to 'mouse over highlighting' I think the idea is brilliant and is well execute, however, I'd be interested to see if an outline instead of a shader would be as effective whilst not being so jarring. Loving the patch direction. Keep it up.

From my initial look they seem to all share the same talents. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Much better combat responsiveness. I feel like my actions are actually taking place rather than glitching or happening 'behind the scenes'.
