Amen! I accept the apology and praise Obsidian for speaking out! Just don't let the XBox version be a buggy frame rate mess like KOTOR was on the XBox. I don't want to beg my friends to borrow the PC version like I did with the first game. Cheers! -

Come on people, FEB isn't a bridge too far, is it? If so we should resurrect John Wayne via Morrowind IV. I have no idea how that relates but I posted it anyway! Don't judge me! Cheers! -

Thank you Adria, but it is too late. I was excited by the simultanious release as you well know, and I just cannot abide by this sort of misinformation and US favoritism. LA made a promise, that promise was to release the Xbox and PC versions simultaniously. They have broken that promise. I made a promise, in turn that I would buy the game at a store. I am breaking that promise now, the Mod-chip will take care of the rest. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LMFAO!! Come on people it can't really be that bad! Or can it? Cheers! -
The It Sucks Thread
Dead Skin Mask replied to Adria Teksuni's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Does returning to the topic mean we have to discuss whether or not LA and Obsidian are the root of all evil? Is this truely a conspiracy as you would have us believe? You're a Mod for Obsidian right??? Are you saying that Obsidian and LA have evil intentions??? IMO this just goes to show strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony that results in a mod. Cheers! -

So you're saying that Obsidian and Lucas Art's are the root of all evil? Wow are you sure you're a mod for Obsidian? Cheers! P.S. Come see the disgruntle mod! Help!!! Help!!! Adria Teksuni is being repressed! -
Us XboX gamers got it easy
Dead Skin Mask replied to JEDIDAN12386's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You mean the Xbox version will always be less polished? Well I don't agree with you there. The PC version will always look better depending on your system of course but you shouldn't have performance issues like frame rate drops and glitches just because you're on the XBox. That's why there are two versions. IMHO LA released the XBox version a little prematurely last time. Not only could Bioware have fixed some more bugs and improved the frame rate but they could have fixed the XBox Live functionality which was flawed and resulted in the 6-7 month wait for DLC. I would have been really pissed about the wait for DLC if I wasn't able to play the PC version of KOTOR. All I am saying is I hope LA isn't making the same mistake by not allowing Obsidian the time to make minor tweaks and make the frame rate the best it could possibly be on the XBox. That way I won't have to worry about borrowing the PC version just to see things the XBox version doesn't have. Cheers! -

Dead Skin Mask replied to JEDIDAN12386's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I own an XBox and I not only feel bad for the people who only have a PC, but I am also worried that all we XBox players are going to get is an un-polished version of TSL. I played KOTOR on both the XBox and the PC last time and I can tell you the XBox version had a hell of a lot more bugs and frame rate issues. The XBox version of KOTOR had the infamous Mission/Leviathan glitch as well as a 6-7 month wait for DLC. I would rather wait until Feb for the XBox version and get the same polished game as the PC gamers will be getting. That way I won't have to borrow the PC version from a friend like I did last time. Cheers! -
What about my Pokemon lightsaber idea? It could sell millions! Cheers!

So True! Cheers!

I'm really looking forward to Dxun and looting Freedon Nadd's tomb. I hope they include his lightsaber in the game if we can indeed loot his tomb. Note: I am also a fan of the Tales of the Jedi comics. Cheers!

Quote you want to hear in KOTOR2
Dead Skin Mask replied to Topaz Quasar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Darth Sion: "It's not a tumor!" PC: "Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines." *On The Ebon Hawk* Roger: "We have clearance, Clarence." Clarence: "Roger, Roger." Roger: "What's our vector, Victor?" *PC says something to Darth Sion in Sith. Sion becomes enraged wildly slashing about with his lightsaber.* Atton: "What did you say to him?" PC: "Nothing. I just told him I'd put his name on the Montgomery Wards mailing list." NPC: "You must go now, quickly. If they find out you've seen this, your life will be worth less than a truckload of dead rats in a tampon factory." Cheers! -

Who was the most fun killing?
Dead Skin Mask replied to macewinduJr.'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Dustil was by far the most fun to kill because I could make Carth watch. Turns out the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in the Onasi family. Dustil was just as much a whiner as his father was. Note: No Onasi's were actually hurt during the writing of this post. There was however an incident with a hamster and a man who smelled of elder berries which I can't fully discuss at this time due to the legal ramifications. If you're an Onasi fan I apologize for the overly sadistic nature of the above post and would encourage you not to call the Carth fan girl death squads at this time. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy the rest of your stay at the Obsidian forums. Note pertaining to above note: I would now like to apologize for the joke about the hamster in said above post. It was not my intention to offend hamster enthusiasts in anyway. Cheers! -
If it's indeed true that we will be getting pets in TSL does that mean we will hear lines like this? PC: "Darth Sion, you killed my Gizka, prepare to die!" PC: "My Wampa is buried where the red fern grows." The Above Was Written By, 40 SPECIALLY TRAINED ECUADORIAN MOUNTAIN LLAMAS 6 VENEZUELAN RED LLAMAS 142 MEXICAN WHOOPING LLAMAS 14 NORTH CHILEAN GUANACOS (CLOSELY RELATED TO THE LLAMA) REG LLAMA OF BRIXTON AND 76000 BATTERY LLAMAS FROM "LLAMA-FRESH" FARMS NEARE PARAGUAY PS. I chose other since I want a couple of Nunas. I wish to teach them how to fly. Cheers!

oppurtunity to kill off party members at will?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Eddo36's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I agree that killing party members at anytime would be dumb. However shouldn't you have the option like with Juhani in KOTOR to kill party members in certain situations? If an uber LS party member wants to leave the party because you're a DS PC shouldn't you be given the choice to either fight them, let them go, or try and turn them to the DS? It's not very likely a DS Jedi would just let a LS Jedi go free while knowing full well one day that Jedi will rise up against them. Any party member who is leaving your party should be fair game to kill unless they are vital to the story later on. Cheers! -
oppurtunity to kill off party members at will?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Eddo36's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think if a party members tries to leave the party because he or she doesn't agree with the decisions you've made or your PC's alighnment they should be fair game. Having to play a DS female to kill Carth sucked and I don't want a repeat of that in TSL. If the party member is leaving the story anway we should be able to choose to let them go or kill them. Cheers! -
Most Wanted Force Power?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Topaz Quasar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I voted other. Just like R.E.M. I want my Force Crush. Follow me, don't follow me I've got my spine, I've got my Force Crush Collar me, don't collar me I've got my spine, I've got my Force Crush We are agents of the free I've had my fun and now it's time to Serve your conscience overseas (over me, not over me) Coming in fast, over me I know that was really bad but I couldn't resist. Cheers! -
Looks similar to the snake like creature created by Naga Sadow that the Massassi set loose when they tried to kill Exar Kun or Yavin IV. Cheers!

According to OXM you will start the game mysteriously unconscious and adrift aboard the badly battle damaged Ebon Hawk. A mining ship happens upon your drifting ship, and miners take you back to their colony for medical treatment. You awake in the infirmary to find everyone dead except for one character who will join your party and act as a guide. The details of just how you ended up on Revan's ship, who attacked you, and what became of Revan are among the many mysteries to be revealed as the epic story unfolds. So basicly we are not supposed to know until we play the game. Cheers!

Canderous' Alien Encounter?
Dead Skin Mask replied to SmkJaguar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It's either a Yuuzhan Vong Coral Skipper or a Yuuzhan Vong warship called a miid ro'ik. Listen to what Canderous has to say and then compare that to the description of a Vong Coral Skipper that I have provided bellow. - Rock-like - Multi-colored meteors, or asteroids - Aerodynamic sides - Tapered nose - Cannons like miniature volcanoes Here is a site with some pics and detailed info on all of the Vong's Ships. Click Cheers! -

He is probably just a Sith trooper who has a really bad case of asthma. He joins your party for the sole purpose of destorying pollen counts throughout the galaxy. Cheers!
