  1. Cheers!
  2. Or perhaps unlock a new force power? Cheers!
  3. So true! Join me Sabahattin Dere and we will crush these mindless upstarts and bring order to the Obsidian TSL forum galaxy! I think there is much to discuss especially since this game takes place in the old Republic. I have a worthy topic for this thread! Will we see finally the lightsaber staff ala Exar Kun or will we be stuck with the double bladed lightsaber ala Darth Maul? Cheers!
  4. Well what do you all think? Personally I say hell yeah to some ancient Sith amulets! Edit: Yes I know I put couldn't care less and don't care either way which means basicly the same thing. I apologize and can only say in my defense give me a break I just woke up! P.S. If you think Sith amulets should be in the game how should they boost your stats? Added force power? A force feat? Ect Ect. Let me know. Cheers!
  5. -->SPECULATION***FAR-OFF IDEA***SPECULATION<-- IMHO if the Krath are included in the Onderon/Dxun section of the game they won't be the focus point of the entire story. They will either be crushed by your light side PC or brought back to their former glory by your Dark side PC. This way the Krath could serve as a useful ally to your Dark side PC later on in the game and if you're light side then the people of Onderon who are now free to fight the Sith elsewhere could prove to be an ally to both you and the Republic. As far as Freedon Nadd goes I think resurrecting his spirit would be cool, however resurrecting him fully would be lame indeed. If you resurrect his spirit he can serve a duel role as your Dark side PC's mentor while on Dxun and the shadow ruler of the Krath and the Empress Teta system later in the game. If Freedon Nadd was fully resurrected he would just try and kill you and become the Sith Lord himself. My Onderon/Dxun idea isn't ment to be the focus point of the entire TSL story. I'm sure I am way off but I wouldn't be suprised if we see some Beast Rider Warriors or some mention of the Krath on Onderon and Dxun. Personally I just hope we DS players get to loot Freedon Nadd's lightsaber and other goodies. Somebody above was talking about Freedon Nadd being destroyed by Exar Kun. While this is mostly true Freedon Nadd was able to manifest himself before Ulic Qel Droma right after he was supossedly destroyed and warn him about Exar Kun. Nadd's spirit disapeared after warning Ulic but it was never certain whether or not he was totally destroyed. Anybody know if they will have Sith amulets in the game? -->end of SPECULATION***FAR-OFF IDEA***SPECULATION<-- Cheers!
  6. Just think of it, if your PC is a Sith you will be able to return the Krath to their former glory. Not only will the Krath retake the Empress Teta system but they may prove themselves useful as an ally later on in the game. As far as Freedon Nadd goes the Krath will probably either resurrect his spirit or give you his belongings from his tomb. If your PC is a Jedi you will be able to stomp out the Krath once and for all and make sure Freedon Nadd stays destroyed. Plus the Queen of Onderon and her people who are now free to fight the Sith may prove to be an ally to you and the Republic later on in the game. I wonder if we will encounter any Beast Rider Warriors on Onderon. That would be pretty cool since they are the ones who helped Ulic Qel-Droma topple Freedon Nadd's descendent Queen Amanoa. Has anybody seen any screens of Onderon or Dxun? Queen Amanoa wasn't Freedon Nadd's only descendent on Onderon King Ommin was one as well. Could the Nadd bloodline have continued all these years and still be on Onderon or Dxun? Cheers!
  7. Really? I was pullin for Jean Claude Van Damn, Dolph Lundgren, and Courtney Love myself. :D Cheers!
  8. I chose story because that is what is going to set the tone for everything else. If it's a bad story the rest of the stuff doesn't really matter. Just like every other RPG the level of personal involvement the player has with the story will be the driving force that compels them to finish the game. Cheers!
  9. Gamestop will let you switch if you pre-order a game and a special edition of that game comes out before it's release. I pre-ordered Halo and when the Halo collectors edition came out I just E-mailed gamestop and told them I wanted to get the collectors edition instead. The next day they wrote me back and said that they had changed my order. Gamestop also let me keep the free overnight shiping that was included in my origional pre-order. Pretty freakin sweet deal if you ask me. Ever since then I have ordered all of my games from Gamestop. Cheers!
  10. If my conspiracy theory is correct the Queen will be dealing with a Krath rebellion on Onderon and will be assassainated before the end of that rebellion. Cheers!
  11. :D :D :D Good one Ivan I think it would be awsome to torture and even kill your party members for their failures. PC: Atton you have stolen Kreia's vibrating pink lightsaber for the last time! Atton: *Choke* *Snap* PC: Take him away. Also I would like to be able to torture my NPC's into turning to the Dark side. This would be a great feat for the Sith Lord class IMO. More devious ways of manipulating people in TSL would be a welcome change as well. Some of these clever manipulations should pay off in the long run and not just immediately like they did in KOTOR. Cheers!
  12. Are you referring to me? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope. I must now hide from the stupidity of this thread. Cheers!
  13. It looks like they have let the kiddies out early for recess today. Cheers!
  14. I don't think they will bring back characters from the old Krath in TSL. Mainly because most of them died in the war. What I am thinking is the survivors and the descendants of the old Krath have remained in the shadows on Onderon, slowly regaining their former strength and waiting until the time was right to exact their revenge. Revan and Malak's war would have presented the right opportunity to strike since the Republic would be too busy to respond to what seems like a small rebellion on Onderon. Freedon Nadd is the one who passed the ancient Sith teachings on to the Krath. He taught them how to use the Dark side and taught them Sith magic. Hence he is kind of like the Krath's unofficial leader since Satal Keto and Aleema are both dead. Therefore they could be trying to reclaim their former glory by retaking the Empress Teta system and resurrecting Freedon Nadd so he may once again share the secrets of the Dark side with the Krath. The Krath would then be poised to once again full fill their dreams of destroying the Republic. Cheers!

  16. After traveling to Onderon Satal Keto and his cousin, Aleema, formed the Krath, a secret society of social elites who dabbled with the Dark side and Sith magic. This society may have sprung up once again on Onderon in TSL. Do you think the Krath are behind the current unrest on Onderon? Also do you think the Krath could be part of a larger plot to resurrect Freedon Nadd? Edit: If you didn't already know the Krath were fromed just before the Sith War. At the pinnacle of the Krath's power they had control of the Empress Teta system and had allied themselves with Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma. Satal Keto was killed by Ulic Qel-Droma when Ulic was overcome by a Dark rage. Satal's death finalized Ulic's fall to the Dark side. Aleema was killed towards the end of the war when she, at the cost of her own life, detonated the supergiant stars within the Cron cluster, sending a deadly shockwave of destruction toward Ossus, the Jedi stronghold world. Cheers!
  17. :D :D :D Philips Cheers!
  18. Yeah if you don't give Atton his own he is bound to barrow your female PC's or NPC's. Female Jedi: Has anyone seen my lightsaber. PC: No but Atton has been in the bathroom for an awful long time.. Cheers!
  19. I chose Dxun because it is the final resting place of Freedon Nadd. Although his spirit was destroyed by Exar Kun perhaps in this game you will be able to ressurect his spirit as well as aquire his lightsaber. Cheers!
  20. I wasn't talking to you, I was talking about Dead skin mask. And speaking of which, I don't mind discussing the history about the Jedi and the Sith. All EU, though good, is canon as far as Lucas is concerned. The movies is what SW is not EU. Just because I don't know much about EU doesn't mean I am ignorant, perhaps you are the one who is ignorant because you can't discuss SW without the EU. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  21. I can tell you don't like to discuss Sith and Jedi history since it is obvious you're blatantly ignorant on the subject. Cheers!
  22. This link is to Star Wars.com and it tells how Darth Bane kept the Sith order alive and how it stayed in the Shadows until episode 1. Hence the Sith were never wiped out. Click This link tells of the Sith after the fall of the empire. Even as Vader died Mara Jade a Sith assassain lived. Also Emperor Palpatine was cloned and both Exar Kun and Marka Ragnos were never truely dead. Hence again the Sith were not wiped out. Click Although it doesn't matter as far as this discussion goes if you only care about the movies why are you even posting on this site? Go play Obi Wan or post at the Episode III game site. Cheers!
  23. As I remember the Sith were extinct until Ep. 1 and then wiped out again in Ep. 6. I remember Luke doing the celebrating and his father turning to the lightside when everything was said and done. Lightside strong, Darkside weak. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wrong and wrong. Cheers!
  24. It was all a part of Bastila's master plan to wear evil lingerie. Seriously though Bastila said her force powers were drained from using her battle meditation and that she couldn't find her lightsaber after the escape pod crashed into the lower city. Perhaps Brejik gave her the evil lingerie for winning at prisoner bingo night. Cheers!
