Keep your brothers and sisters away from the screen sounds good to me. The kids can go see Episode III, the rest of us can play a mature rated KOTOR II. Cheers!

whats your favorite force power so far?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Stargate: 2000's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Sniper from the Bioware forums? If so ban him now Obsidian! J/k Cheers! -
If Sion is a joinable NPC I'm getting that guy a freakin shirt or some armor asap. I can see it now, everybody sits down to eat on the Ebon Hawk and Sion comes out to serve everyones food with his bits of rotting skin falling about everywhere. It would be like the scene from Scary Movie 2. Cheers!

This is the conflict that I like.... Hits rather close to home with whats taking place in the world today doesn't it. Cheers!
-
Yeah the Ebon Hawk will resemble the Cleveland Indians team plane in the movie Major League. Cheers!

That sounds freakin awsome! I can't wait to see that in action. The Dark Side just looks better and better. I hadn't heard of that one yet no pun intended either. Force scream seems like a very odd force power indeed. Will this be the new force insanity? Cheers!

Force crush sounds pretty sweet but I haven't seen a pic of it in action. I watched the demo on the Lucas Arts website and I know it was used I just couldn't see it too well and my sound sucks. Cheers!

I think it looks awsome! I can't wait to level that bad boy up and unleash some Dark Rage on my opponents. click Cheers!

Perhaps thats where Kreia comes into play. You could meet her on Peragus where she either recognizes you, your talents, or both. On the other hand she could be sent by what remains of the Jedi on a mission to locate you. Either way she gives you a sense of purpose on what needs to be done next. After that the Sith arrive and you have to fight your way off that rock and get the heck out of dodge via the Ebon Hawk. Cheers!

Sparring and Practice Duels
Dead Skin Mask replied to The Omnifarious Host's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Sparring would be cool if you could make dialogue choices that effect your NPC's alignment. You could encourage the NPC to embrace their hatred or be at peace in order to better themselves. I think it would be cool to say to an NPC during a duel, "Give into your anger. It is the only way you will ever be able to unleash your true power!" Cheers! -
Yeah I like that idea a lot. It would be nice to see the Sith attacking Atton's ship with your PC on board after the Star Wars scroll. A blast from a Sith fighter could cause an explosion on board the ship knocking your PC out. Atton with no other choice, now that there is nobody to man the turrets, would make the jump to light speed. The jump of course taking you to Peragus in order to evade the Sith fighters and treat your wounds. This would explain why you wake up not sure how you got to the mining facility in the first place. Also it would keep with the instant action which is the hallmark of most Star Wars intros. Cheers!

Your ideal Sith/Sith Lord...
Dead Skin Mask replied to Dark Wanderer's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
My ideal Sith Lord is Exar Kun. A tortured soul, victimized by both the Sith and the Jedi, unable to repress the Darkness within his own heart, finally Kun embraces the Dark side of the force, and becomes the ultimate vessel of rage and destruction. That was easy. Cheers! -
KOTOR II Characters
Dead Skin Mask replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
What if Juhani, Jolee, and Mission are dead? Besides...........T3 is on Peragus when you start. I think he means if you start the game using the LS ending. On the DS ending they better be dead. I doubt however Revan would have wanted everyone to follow him to the outer rim lightside or not. Would be kinda funny though. Revan: Come on gang lets load up the mystery van, we're off to solve another caper in the outer rim. Cheers! -
After the Star Wars scroll the camera decends down on Peragus as a Jedi fighter is coming out of hyper space. The camera then switches inside the ****pit where we see Kreia contacting Atton on the fighters comm line. Kreia: Atton do you read me? Atton: Load and clear Kreia, did you run into any complications. Kreia: I was able to sneak through the Sith blockade undetected, however, I sense something is not right. I wish not to linger here long. How is he/she? Atton: He/She is recovering nicely. I have been keeping a close eye on him/her. The droids attending to him/her say she/he could be conscious at any moment. Kreia: Then there is no time to waste. I... I only hope we are not too late. Kreia's Jedi fighter is seen landing in a hanger bay on Peragus as the camera pans over to a dense astroid field near by the facility. The Imperial march begins to play and a Sith class destroyer comes out of light speed. The camera then switches inside the Sith destroyer where a Sith Captain is adressing his Commander. Captain: Commander, we have come out of lightspeed undetected and our tracking insturments indicate the Jedi fighter has landed in the mining facility of Peragus. Commander: Excellent work Captain. I wish to remain here to montior the situation. Send a detachment of elite commandos down to the facility to await further instructions. Captain: Yes, Commander, at once. Commander: Captain, I do not wish the detachment to be detected by the Jedi. I will contact our Lord to ask for his instructions. Captain: Very well, Commander. The camera switches inside Peragus with Atton waiting outside Kreia's hanger bay. The hanger bay door opens and Atton steps forward to greet Kreia. Atton: Kreia.. Kreia interrupts Atton. Kreia: Atton, I have felt a disturbance in the force. We must act quickly. We haven't much time. Take me to him/her. The game begins with you waking up inside the infirmary. I just wanted to have some fun with it. Cheers!

KotOR's charecters: Where are they now?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Mad_Scientist's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah a tropical paradise called heaven maybe. I wonder what rap he busted out right before the Sith bombardment killed him. Cheers! -
Once again lay off the sugar. Cheers!

Gluupor as a Joinable NPC!!!
Dead Skin Mask replied to Child of Flame's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Dude lay off the ****in sugar you annoy me when you have had too much! Cheers! -
How? And by what means would this strike be carried out? It seems to me a strike of that magnitude would require resources beyond a bunch of rogue Sith. I doubt even a guerilla mission could be carried out because they would have to deal with their force sensitive peers unlike a Bothan spy mission which would entail interaction with the lower Sith ranks. Cheers!

How the heck do you end up with the Ebon Hawk?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Bokishi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The ship was origionally yours but you left it in a parking garage for too long when you left for the Mandalorian wars and the exchange stole it. The ship was then later stolen by Revan who abandoned it after either gaining his own Sith fleet or becoming all hippie and getting a better fuel efficient frieghter. Luckly you had low jack installed and the ship was picked up and returned to you on Peragus with an annoying little droid they thought was yours because all it would say is beep-bop-beep. Cheers! -
How would the Republic destroy the Star Forge with Bastila using her battle meditation a feat which makes the Sith fleet invincible? I think the republic would have had to use Bothan spies or some other guerilla tactic that either temporarily stoped the Star Forge from functioning or destroyed it from within. That being said that could be why the Sith are gathering Dark side energies in an attempt to either fix the Star Forge or build a new and deadlier Star Forge. As far as the LS ending goes the Star Forge is destroyed and the Sith gather Dark side energies to build a new one. Just an idea. Edit: I guess the Republic could have assasinated Bastila and then destroyed the Star Forge. Cheers!

KotOR's charecters: Where are they now?
Dead Skin Mask replied to Mad_Scientist's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
This is how I would deal with the old KOTOR characters if I was making the game specifically for myself. Dark Side Ending. Jolee: Dead Juhani: Dead Mission: Dead Zaalbar: At Revan's side fulfilling his life debt. Bastila: Alive and hunting you down for her master Revan. HK-47: Found shut down. Joins your party to kill you as part of a trap. Canderous: Now in charge of the Sith fleet, he is trying to unite the old Mandalorian clans and finally crush the republic once and for all. Carth: Dead survived by his son Dustil who now heads up reconstruction on Telos. (I never killed Carth's son as a DS PC because he was joining the Sith and I thought what a waste of a good recruit to kill him.) T3-M4: Functional and hopefully less of a bore. Griff: You run into him on some planet and crush him like a bug. Yuthra Ban: Dead Uthar: Alive and an apprentice of a Dark Lord. Vandar and the Dantooine Jedi council: Dead Revan: Unkown until you discover the reason behind the Dark Lords stealing Dark side energies from the Sith tombs. (Which sounds a lot like Jedi Academy which sucks.) LS Ending. Don't know, don't care, I played through the light side once to say I did it and found it to be tedious. I will let somebody more qualified than myself who actually cares do this part. Cheers! -
If I were a man walking around in that girly-white Star Forge Robe, I'd wear a mask from shame. Agreed. And I honestly think that they won't kill Revan, but that he/she will only be referenced by other returning NPCs, such as Bastila and/or HK. I think we'll hear of him/her, but we won't see him/her. Logistically it's too tough. For all the reasons mentioned by other folks above. LS Revan could be wearing a hood so you can't really make out his face much like old Ben on Tatooine. Personally I can see how a LS Revan got all hippie like Ulic Qel Droma and took off for the outer rim to find himself and come to grips with what he had done while he was the Dark Lord. A DS Revan on the other hand better be searching for some ancient ultimate Sith weapon or some Dark power that will increase his own considerably because I really can't see how a DS Revan would up and leave his infinite fleet when the galaxy was defenseless and ripe for the taking. Unless of course Bastila was assasinated by the Republic and the Star Forge destroyed. Cheers!
