Random stuff found, without using any XP exploits: Sith Tremor Sword Echani Vibroblade Mandalorian Disintegrator Barab Ore Ingot Solari crystal Upari crystal

Only Sentinels, Watchmen, and Assassins can learn Niman. Only Guardians, Weapons Masters, and Mauraders can learn Juyo.

No, alignment is a factor too. I have item templates and conditionals for obsolescence right before me. Once again, incorrect. A dark, grey, or light crystal has different abilities, but at each particular equivalent level, they offer an equivalent amount of power. The only thing that can change the power of the crystal itself, is the character level (and Kreia adjusting it). This power will be described by the intensity of the glow in the crystal, and has nothing to do with the alignment. The only way that someone can say that a particularly aligned crystal is more powerful, is if it fits his character build better, plain and simple.

Reload the game, and select the option of "Actually, I can blame you. Violently!" and see him squirm.

Niman doesn't have any particular weaknesses. You'll get a very modest (+1) boost to many of your abilities such as defense, attack, blaster deflection, etc., and it's better than having no lightsaber form at all, if you want to use a lightsaber. I prefer Juyo, simply because you get that extra attack, and your critical threat range is significantly increased. To me, taking the defensive penalties associated with Juyo are worth it.

Hold on just a minute... The sheer power of the crystal is solely dependent on your character's level. You don't need to have Kreia update it 10 times, since she'll sync the crystal to your current level. Thus, even if you did Dantooine as your last planet, and somehow were L31+, then the first time she syncs it, it will be at its maximum power.

It's based on the random loot generator. The higher your character's level is, the more likely you'll get better loot. Some incidents end up giving you a chance at "high quality loot." As a result, these instances can end up with you finding a nice robe in them. The big drawback, though, is that you have to be of a very high level to trigger the really rare ones, such as Nomi's robe, Thon's robe, Keto's robe, Bindo's robe, Malak's armor, etc. You probably won't reach those levels without using cheats, since there's really only a limited number of quests you can do.

In a nutshell... When you're on Onderon for the first time, if you end up deciding to help General Vaklu (after talking with Tobin), then you're pretty much doomed to the dark side, and must eventually kill all three Jedi masters. If you've done too many "evil" things on Onderon, such as killing all three captains, then you will not have a choice when you talk with Tobin in the cantina. If you've managed to get two of the captains to resign without killing them, then you can still turn down Tobin's offer and side with the queen. ' If you haven't removed the captains, then you're stuck with the light side.

what was your chars name in kotor2

It all depends on how much do you want to throw into your feats. If you're a Consular / Jedi Master / Sith Lord, or a Sentinel / Watchman / Assassin, then you're probably best off just using one saber, maxing out your Duelling feat tree, and working from there. You get a nice +3 attack and +3 defense bonus, too. It takes a lot of feats to get a decent two weapon fighting build going, and unless you're a Guardian (or one of the Guardian-type prestige classes), you might not have as many feats to spare. The way I see it, as a Consular class, you're going to mostly be using your Force powers anyways. As one of the prestige classes for the Sentinel, you're going to get a nice sneak attack bonus. Even if you are a Guardian class character, you can still do great with a single blade, maxing out superior weapon focus (as a prestige class).

They're not the same. Malak and Revan were busy conquering the universe after Malachor V, where Nihilus was "born." As powerful as he was, he couldn't be in two places at one time. Besides, I'm guessing that the goofy mask that Nihilus wore wouldn't fit over Malak's jaw.

infinite light side points glitch not working?
Unabomber replied to Samonoku's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
There might be a glitch in the Korriban cave. I've found that if you try to "save" Kreia, then you can constantly repeat the scenario, earning LS points in each case. The only way I was able to move on was to select the "I'll do nothing" and wait for the "Apathy is death!" speeces from everyone. -
Just finish Goto's Yacht. If you've been at least neutral or light-sided, then she'll become part of your party after you destroy the yacht.

Of course you can be a good melee combatant as a consular. The key is, though, that you aren't going to be as much of a tank as a Guardian will be. To build a melee consular, realize that you're not going to get too many feats. Thus, trying to build up a character for two weapon fighting isn't going to be too productive. Instead, focus on improving your duelling feats. By the time you max it out, you're getting a nice +3 to hit and +3 defense bonus. Combine this with a weapon focus: lightsaber feat and now that's up to +4. By the time you really do need to enter lightsaber combat (against one of the more powerful dark Jedi or Sith Lords), you can simply use the Makashi lightsaber form, and that will boost you up to +7 to hit, and +6 damage against them. If you have extra feat spots, then put them towards Toughness.

You're right. You will get your first lightsaber part after helping either the Ithorians or Czerka. Chodo (Ithorian) will give you a part after you've finished his quests, or the fellow at the docks who works for Czerka will give you that same part if you helped Czerka. You can get the color crystal from the Dobo brother merchant (the store near the Cantina on the Telos station) . Other than that, though, there's no way to get any more saber parts until you've finished Telos, and have moved onto your first planet. A fast way to get the remaining two parts you need, is to go to Dantooine. Rescue Jorran (or kill him) from the enclave sub-level, and you'll see him in the Salvager's camp, where you can buy another part, as well as a couple of power enhancing crystals (might get another color crystal, though). Go back to the Ebon Hawk, and fight Visas. You'll have your final saber part after you beat her. This method takes less time than any other method, in my experiences. You can also spend another few minutes, clearing out the sub-level, tampering with the will, and then talking with Zherron, and come out with another saber.

Yes, Force Deflection will work if you have something else in your hand, such as a blaster pistol, blaster rifle, or even shock stick or vibroblade. The only time anyone should take Force Deflection, is if they don't want to use a lightsaber, period. The power of Force Deflection is inferior to Jedi Defense, since it doesn't allow you to refect blaster bolts back at the shooter (you need Master Force Deflection for that). To me, it's simply not worth wasting two Force Power slots just for that.

It's an item that gives him a few levels of precise shot and targeting feats, if I recall correctly.

There are few guarantees in life. Crystal quality in KOTOR2 also holds true to the same regard. The guaranteed places for a few really nice crystals: Onderon (2nd time around): After finishing the battle, Talia or Vaklu (depending on who you helped) will give you a Pontite crystal. Very nice damage boost, increases charisma, and others. Alternatively, you can just loot the museum and get it instead. Nar Shaada: After resolving the conflicts on Onderon and Dantooine, and if you've helped Geeda, she'll sell you a Upari crystal. 1-8 extra damage, +3 To Hit. Iziz: Qixoni crystal available from Sakarie, if you have a spare open visa. Everything else is purely by chance, although it is level-dependent.
-
He does, but this is dependent on a couple of things: 1) You can't have too many shields in your inventory, or else he won't make them. 2) Once you turn him into a Jedi, he won't make them anymore.

Who is the best gunman?
Unabomber replied to Emperor_Palpatine's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Potentially, Atton. If you give him some Scoundrel levels, he'll get a nice sneak attack bonus. I usually give him a disruptor weapon, with a Pinpoint Scope (increases critical threat range to 15-20), as well as rapid shot. Once he becomes a Jedi, I'll have him cast Master Speed on himself, and blast away. He can do just as much damage as a lightsaber wielder, and the disruptor damage rips through shields. -
Depends on who's using the saber. For Kreia, I have her set to constantly use Force powers, so I maximize blaster bolt deflection and defense. Color crystal: Any Power crystal #1: Jenreaux Power crystal #2 : Loridian Gemstone Power cell: Any. I use Ultimate Diatium Cell for +5 damage when she does enter melee combat Emitter: Expert Deflection Emitter (+4 BBD, +1 DEF) Lens: Ossus Duelling Lens This combination pretty much makes her immune to any sort of blaster fire.

The kind of pistol you'll get is random, but supposed to be a high quality item for your current level.

zayne guardian/marauder tutorial
Unabomber replied to darthzayne's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Going to disagree a bit. Starting out with STR 18 is a waste of attribute points. You would have been much better off pumping those points into WIS. Maybe start at STR 15, but even then, that still costs two points to go from 14 to 15. The reason why I suggest pumping those into WIS, especially if your character is male, is because you get to apply your WIS bonus to your defense after a certain encounter with Handmaiden, and that your Force abilities are strongly dependent on your WIS. -
It all depends on what you want to do with them. If you want as many Jedi levels and powers as possible, then hold off on levelling them up. I'll give a brief overview of some of the advantages for each: Atton: He's a scoundrel, and gets a sneak attack bonus every two levels, as well as Scoundrel's Luck as he gets higher up. Skill points are a wash either way, since both classes get good skill points. For me, I level him up to L7 Scoundrel, since this gives him a very nice sneak attack bonus (+4 to 24 extra damage). Once he becomes a Jedi Sentinel, he can deliver some really nasty attacks, especially with Master Critical Strike and a keen weapon. Bao-Dur: I level him up to about L8 Tech Specialist, and then switch him over. By this time, he has plenty of skill points. Mira: If I want her to focus on lightsaber use, I level her up to L7 Scout. Besides, I usually need this level to take on Hanharr... Otherwise, I might even take up to L12 Scout, and focus on blaster proficiencies, if I want her as a ranged attacker. Handmaiden: Really doesn't matter either way. She's a walking tank, and going from Soldier to Jedi Guardian doesn't make a big difference, unless you want to max out on force powers. I simply hold her back at L6 (her starting level), and after I hit L18 for my own character, will "jedify" her. That, plus it's easier to beat her when she's a L6 soldier, than if she were much higher level, since her Echani Strike feat, along with her high HP total make her a tough customer in the unarmed area. Disciple: As soon as possible, since I prefer to set him on Jedi Support, and Jedi Consulars are best used in this role. His WIS score is terrible, so I just give him buffing powers.

Be prepared. First, equip a Mandalorian Melee shield. Activate it as soon as possible, since they're going to be using their Twi'lek spinning blades against you. Use your best stimulants. Strength stims are crucial, since even the regular stim will give you a +4 STR (and a corresponding +2 on your attack chances).
