Quickest way is to go to Dantooine first. You already have a part from the Czerka / Ithorians. You can get a second part from Visas if you exit and re-board the Ebon Hawk. Go to Khoonda, get permission from the administrator, and go to the Enclave sub-level. You can get your third part by going to the Enclave sub-level. Go in there, rescue Jorran, and either let him go and meet him outside in the salvager's camp, or kill him (even quicker). You'll get that third part. If you have a color crystal (buy one from the lady in the salvager's camp or one of the merchants on Telos), you can make your lightsaber very quickly. On another note, after this, go back into the sub-level, tamper with the will, and talk to Zherron. You'll get a whole lightsaber. You'll get a third lightsaber after you finish the final battle.

Let's clear up a few things. You have complete control over which side you want to support, regardless of alignment. On Dantooine, Vrook will say that he senses something very dark about you if you are DS aligned, but you have the choice to side with the Khoonda militia instead of with Azkhul. As a result, you don't have to kill Vrook. A LS aligned player can also choose to side with Azkhul at any time, even during the final battle of Dantooine. This will mean that you have to kill Vrook. On Nar Shaada, everything hinges on what you say to Zez Kai El when you first get a chance to talk with you. LS or DS, you can simply say "I'm here to end you," or something like that, and you'll fight him. It doesn't matter whether you are LS (and have Mira in your group) or DS (and have Hanharr in your group). On Onderon, if you do only good acts (e.g. don't kill the captains), and support the queen on your first visit, then Tobin will not offer to let you join them. If you do a mixture of good and evil acts (e.g. don't kill the captains, but persuade one or two to retire), then Tobin will offer you a chance to join them. If you do all of the evil acts (e.g. kill all of the captains), then your only choice when Tobin makes you an offer is "After all I've done, I have no choice but to side with Vaklu." It doesn't matter what your overall alignment is; all that matters, in terms of getting the choices on Onderon, is what your actions were on that planet.

Exactly. In fact, even the Sith weren't necessarily obligated to use red, since Darth Vader did keep his blue blade until the end of EPIII. As for Mace Windu, his use of a purple crystal was because he saved one of the rock creatures on the planet of Hurrikane, and was given the crystal as a reward. Other than the blue / yellow / green colors that were stated in KOTOR1, there's no real color association, and once the Jedi lost their sources of the multiple colors of crystals, they pretty much used only blue and green crystals from Ilum. At that point, it was pretty much whatever crystal "called" out to its user during the trials in the Ilum caves.

When you think GOTO what do you think?
Unabomber replied to lightsidedmarker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The older BASIC programmers think of GOTO as a statement to go to a specific line in the program. -
is it possible to............
Unabomber replied to chos echo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Technically, you can get it on Telos, but only under this circumstance: You already have a color crystal and two parts (one from Czerka / Ithorians, and one from one of the other planets), but haven't hit 75% light or dark yet. You go back to Telos, and do some more good / evil, triggering the Visas / Nihilus scene, then board the Ebon Hawk. Now you fight Visas, and get the third part. Otherwise, no, you cannot get a lightsaber until after you've visited one planet other than Telos (Peragus doesn't count). -
He has a plasma torch on him, so I would have to guess that he's a worker from somewhere. Since you're on a mining colony, it's logical to assume that he's a deceased miner or maintenance worker.

Depends on the style of character. For example: Critical hit specialists: I'll use Shien, simply because you get a very nice boost to the damage you do on a critical strike (3X instead of 2X), and if you have master critical strike, you're going to do the most damage. Ataru or Juyo will increase your chances of making a critical hit, but that's really not too significant if you have master critical strike.

Plain blue. The way I see it, no need to stick out like a sore thumb and attract blaster fire...

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure. Really. 1) You probably have several Mandalorian Melee shields in your inventory. Keep one charged up at all times. 2) Use an Adrenal Alacrity stim, or a hyper version of that. This will give her about 20-30% more footspeed than before, making running away a bit easier. 3) You may want to level her up once, and give her a couple Stealth skill points. Equip your best stealth belt on here, and also use whatever devices help increase stealth abilties. You should have at least one such booster, a piece of headgear that increases stealth by +4, from Telos. With the above, you could conceivably sneak by all the Ubese, and head on to the left side, where you can open up the escape door. Once you do that, your main character will be free, and you can slaughter every Ubese you find with much more ease. If you get discovered, then run as fast as you can, since the stim will increase your speed, and you can outrun the Ubese, and your shields should hold. Using mines also works, and if you had enough foresight, you could have upgraded any of your ranged weapons with the best upgrades possible, so she could snipe enemies from afar.

Correct, but he did have a second saber stashed away, after losing his first one to Windu. That's why I suggested having a second one in reserve. Just not used at the same time.

Also, you may want to use KSE to give him the Ataru (Aggression) lightsaber form, since that was, indeed, his preferred lightsaber fighting method. Consular / Sith Lord would be a logical choice of classes. Power list: Shock/Lightning/Storm (of course) Fear/Horror/Insanity Wound/Choke/Kill Drain Life/Death Field Drain Force Speed/Knight Speed/Master Speed (he did make those three Jedi Masters look awfully slow) Equipment: Two identical red, single bladed lightsabers, each with an Expert Fencing Emitter, Ultimate Diatium Cell, and Pontite Lens, along with whatever crystals you deem appropriate. If I recall correctly, Palpatine did at one time have a part of the Kaiburr crystal?

Not necessarily. The "angry Handmaiden" situation is only triggered when you have a lot more influence with Visas than you do with Handmaiden. Where some people get confused, and think it's solely conversational, is simply because you can get a lot of influence with Visas simply by talking with her. You can safeguard yourself from this happening simply by being nice to Handmaiden when you first see her, and exhausting as many conversation options as possible with her, as well as getting as many sparring sessions with her as possible. Basically, if you put a numerical value on influence, where 0 is the worst and 100 is the highest, then it requires about a 30 point differential between Handmaiden and Visas, before Handmaiden gets angry at you and won't talk to you. If the difference is about 15-25, then you'll get a cut scene where she gets angry at Visas only, but still isn't quite angry at you. The main thing is, though, once Handmaiden gets angry at you, there's no going back.
-
You had a much higher influence with Visas than you did with Handmaiden. If this happens, she'll get angry, and talk with Kreia, and pretty much give you the snub for the rest of the game. There is no way to reverse this without resorting to cheats.

Impossible. You might have six lens upgrades, but you don't have six lenses. The way it works, is that you get a different part each time (emitter, fixture, lens). Which planet are you on? There are several places where you can find that third part that you need. Again, you do not have six lenses. You have six lens upgrades, which cannot be used as core parts for your lightsaber.

You really don't have to say anything to him, as long as you keep gaining influence with him. The quickest way to Jedi-fy him is to first tell him that it's not his fault when you see him at the Telos Jedi Academy. That gains you some influence. Talk to him when you can, at least twice. Then, go directly to Nar Shaada, and confront the second set of Exchange bullies near the far north part. Bao Dur will applaud you for helping the man, and you'll get some more influence. Talk to him again. Then talk to the man you just helped, and be nice to him. You'll get more influence with Bao Dur, and can talk to him again. This will lead to the conversations to make him a Jedi Guardian.

I usually leave Mira's ballistic jacket on her. It's as good as almost any light armor, and provides even more bonuses against physical attacks. Besides, there's something about a well-proportioned red headed lady in form-fitting leather that's easy on the eyes. It's almost comical, that after you (as Mira) kill Hanharr (the first time, on Nar Shaada), and the door opens where a bunch of hungry Kath Hounds are after you, you can actually stand in the middle of the pack, and do nothing, while they try to gnaw away, and they really won't do any damage. Now Hanharr and the Ubese, on the other hand, are different matters...

Top 10 favorite crystals.
Unabomber replied to OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Not true. From what I understand, if you use your personal crystal in a lightsaber, you can remove the alignment restrictions on either the Solari or Qixoni crystals. -
It changes each time, and can even change after you've killed another enemy. Look at the text at the top of the screen. It will say something like One-Zero-One or Zero-One-Zero, or something similar, where the three digits can be 1's or 0's. As soon as you see that message, go to the security console, and enter in the regular number. The last digit is whether you add 2^0, or 1, to it. Thus 001 = 1 The second digit is whether you add 2^1, or 2, to it. Thus, 010 = 2 The first digit is whether you add 2^2, or 4, to it. Thus 100 = 4 Just as an example: 001 = 1 011 = 3 111 = 7 010 = 2 100 = 4 101 = 5

In this case, though, Kreia did warn you early in the game, that while the Sith Assassins were weak on the Harbinger, they too, grow stronger, as you grow stronger in the Force, since they feed on such things. Jediphile hit it on the nose, regarding the ones on Dxun. They have a LOT of HP, and can take a boatload of abuse. One thing they cannot scale against, though, is the power of Force Kill, which removes a fixed percentage of HP each round. Hit one of them with two Force Kill shots, and they'll have very little left (that the Mandalorian grunts can wipe up). Hit one with three Force Kill shots, and they're as good as dead.

The Weapons Master damage reduction feat does seem to work. Just for sh*ts and giggles, I changed the Handmaiden's class from Jedi Guardian to Weapons Master as soon as she was "Jedified." After she was a L7 Weapons Master, and had the "Inner Strength II" feat (10% reduction), I did a comparison, by taking her and Mira to the Dantooine sub-level, where all of those electrical overloads could be performed. The feedback showed that Mira suffered 1000 points of electrical damage, and that the Handmaiden suffered "only" 800 points, since she got an extra 10% reduction from the Improved Toughness feat. I also checked the feedback when fighting the Sith Mauraders at the Trayus Academy. Sure enough, they were taking 85% of the damage that the other grunts in the room were taking.

Wisdom, by far. It affects your force points, your force potency (damage and difficulty of saving against), your force defense, as well as affecting some of the more important skills. Also, if your character is male, it eventually confers a defensive bonus once you get the appropriate power. There are plenty of items that will raise the physical attributes, which is why I really don't pump any more points into them, unless I want to get CON up to 18 for the nicer implants. WIS-boosting items, though, seem to be rarer.

You can kill him and not get any DS points. As soon as you find the hydrospanner in the droid, go up to him, and confront him about his stealing parts from the droids. Tell him that you're going to turn him in for his crimes, and he'll attack you. Loot his corpse, and you'll get the Thorium charges and a few other nice goodies. Best of all, you can get influence with HK-47 this way, and not gain a single DS point.

Does General Vaklu remind you of anyone?
Unabomber replied to aerowars617's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That was for the character of Nikko. Yes, that's Nikko's real head. I think he used to post on here a while back. -
Aren't the disruption gloves only stackable for an unarmed combatant? Either way, the Dominator Gauntlets are better. You get a +2 or +3 bonus on your "to hit" and "damage." Besides, if you combine that with your personal lightsaber crystal, you're going to have some pretty impressive strength totals. If I'm playing a character who uses lightsaber finese and a high DEX, then I'll go for the Automation Gloves instead.

Could Revan have slewn everyone on the Death Star?
Unabomber replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Depends on which Vader. If it's the Vader that hasn't been de-limbed by Kenobi, Revan probably loses. No Jedi had ever been as powerful as Vader was at that time. If it's the Vader that was stuck in the clunky armor, then Revan probably wins. I say "probably," because even as a cripple, this Vader was still pretty potent and could get lucky. After all, as a cripple, he took out some strong Jedi during the purge, such as Cin Drallig, An'ya Kuro (The Dark Woman), along with numerous others.
