  1. Open beta will never fully replace professional QA anyway, though.
  2. Would be nice if GOG.com posted it as a news item on their site, to drive more people to buy the game.
  3. Officially recognized and supported by Obsidian, yes. Trust me, I've already talked to them about it. I wouldn't have used the word otherwise.
  4. Yeah, I'll let you know when the wiki is up. We're in the process of setting up some new back-end stuff for our wikis, so it might take a day or two.
  5. I'd say either stick to in-house composer or get Mark Morgan.
  6. I'm afraid that at least elves and dwarves are already part of the setting, as can be glimpsed in the Kickstarter video and updates.
  7. Or a magic crystal ball linked with your account in a gnomish bank.
  8. Well, the news and comments is really just a secondary feature of wikis. The content is what matters. Of course, The Vault at its new home is not going to win with Nukapedia that easily in terms of page views due to the fact that the Wikia pages are much more googlable, but just look at our and Wikia's wikis for Wasteland 2 - ours is definitely more alive. And the Wikia Wasteland wiki is quite ugly too.
  9. And http://wasteland.falloutwiki.com too
  10. I'm in the process of setting up the Official Project Eternity Wiki, which should be officially up in a day or two. Anyone interested in joining in?
  11. Why not have a "hardcore mode" like in Fallout: New Vegas, with gold weight etc.?
  12. Some of them yes, but not Akil Hooper, Tess Treadwell or Joe Sanabria.
  13. A Fallout movie was briefly in development between 1998 and 2000. I have managed to obtain the film treatment with full summary of the movie's story. You can find it here: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog:Au...atment_revealed No spoilers - see the thing for yourself.
  14. More flexibility in setting prices for different regions.
  15. Nope, never.
  16. Another dev post roundup
  17. Another dev quote roundup
  18. They posted it as a "rumor" based on one sentence in OXM which was just speculation, not a rumor based on any actual sources. Still, it's not that unlikely, but it's no different from my own speculation on this months ago.
  19. Well, I just did these while I was in the area anyway, didn't really travel specifically to finish them.
  20. Depends on a player. I don't really have much motivation to just explore any areas if they are not connected to any quests I were given. I don't have much issue with Return to Sender. Still in the Dark on the other hand...
  21. Another roundup of JE Sawyer posts And of various other Fallout tidbits I think the ending in which they ally with the NCR is pretty good for them.
  22. The whole New Vegas cast. That's a big cast.
  23. More G4TV videos: http://g4tv.com/videos/49209/Fallout-New-V...--The-Story-Of/ http://g4tv.com/videos/49214/Fallout-New-V...City-Destroyed/ http://g4tv.com/videos/49213/Fallout-New-V...--New-Features/ http://g4tv.com/videos/49212/Fallout-New-V...the-Apocalypse/ http://g4tv.com/videos/49211/Fallout-New-V...of-Destruction/ http://g4tv.com/videos/49210/Fallout-New-V...-Characters-Of/ And perks: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/falloutnewv...tml?sid=6281442
  24. The video looks edited, so I wouldn't consider the "one month later" part official unless officially confirmed.
  25. And for Fallout 2, actually. Wonder why they advertise POS on their website and not FO2. Also, looks like they haven't changed their website design since the Fallout 2 days.
