i have yet to recieve mine. i ordered from play.com on 11th Feb, it was dispatched 5hrs later, still waiting for it. whoever got it via play.com, can you tell me how it arrived? through regular post or by royal mail car?

well, i do agree that laptops are basicly for businessmen that are more on the run then at home or in an office.

as he says, its up to Lucasarts, but since Lucasarts has their money i doubt they care, but i could be wrong, but also as he says, i won't hold my breath for a patch. Besides, the game has been out less then a week, give it time. lol

Well you don't actually need her, she just shows up once you go back to Ebon Hawk. You can just switch Kreia to your party and talk to her, before you go to Ebon Hawk. So tecnically Visas has nothing to do with gaining a prestige class. I was a weapon master before Visas showed up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> how sad for me, i am still waiting for my game to come. lol

If you don't understand what a graphics-driver is, attend a basic computer course. If that doesn't help, buy a console. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ouch, that sounds harsh.

from what i hear people are getting the same slowdown problem with the 4.12 and above. since my game has yet to be delivered, i don't know.

What driver did you use? alot of people seem to get best gameplay with the 4.11 drivers. Also, i had a nvidia card before my current ATI card and i had nothing but problems with it, then i tried ati and my problems were fixed.

well, why don't you use kotor_tool to make the BAB back to Kotor I style? (ie. Guardian has the better attack bonus, followed by Sentinel and then Consular.) Doing that sort of thing isn't hard, you just gotta do it right so that it doesn't make it crash or make it totally unbalanced.

I have read alot that the 4.11 are the best for the game and anything higher has the slowdown problem Kotor I had on Open Areas. (ie. Dantooine)

I went Guardian / SithLord and it was an uphill struggle the entire time I used a single Saberand got whatever skills and force powers i liked but in the end, i was struggling. I kill wipe rooms full of enemies easily, throwing off a Force Storm and Death Feild, but when it got down to combat with say three Sith Marauders in the [spoilers] Trayus Academy [/spoilers] then i was needing sheilds, Force Energy resistance master and more than likely health packs at the end of it as against three people Death Feild sucks the big one Meh maybe im lucky and got a harder version than you on the game, [/sarcasm] but maybe being a Guardian Weaponsmaster with 42 strength is what your complaining about. Surely you knew if you chose 2 lightsaber combat classes and coupled that with purely dumping your attributes into strength you would kill them in the odd 2 hits? It sounds like your complaining about your Character being overpowered than the game being too easy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that is why i never pick the strongest classes in any RPG. in this case, i will likely pick Sentinel/Watchman, right smack, bam in the centre.

Yes, the general consensus is that the game is too easy. Perhaps someone will mod it later? Nothing to be done at the moment. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, games are always easy, games are technically for entertainment, not testing our brains (that is what chess and word games are for). So i don't agree that the difficulty should be based on the players skills, Homeworld II tried that and it made the game suck for me. It calculated how much resources you had and tripped it, multiplied the total resources with the resource cost of the ships you had and spawned ships that countered yours and sent them the moment you started and while they are virtually vaporizing your ships, the AI is building more, completely violating the shiptype limit by ALOT. (if Kotor III had something like this, i would hate the game and probably the developers as well) But this is just my opinion.

well, if he wants to cheat, let him, its not like it is effecting anyone else. Its like Nexus - The Jupiter Incident, i finished the game on all difficulties, even though i don't see the point in playing on different difficulties if all there is, is harder enemies and no rewards for playing on higher difficulties, all this is with the latest patch for the game which fixes the difficulties not working properly and then i went in and modded the game to give full tech from the start. lol but i had to leave it until a certain point (still very early) before i could safely use the most advanced stuff without the game crashing, it still didn't make the game too easy, i didn't mod out the shields to be unlimited or anything like that....then it wouldn't be any fun if you could go up against a whole armada of ships with one ship and win. lol So, in the long run, cheating on SP may make the game way too easy, but it only effects the person cheating and no one else. The only time i find it annoying and pathetic is when people cheat on MP, which ruins it for everyone else. (ie. Counter Strike etc.) So, it is up to the player if he/she wants to cheat.

Hope you enjoy this game as much as i did, i feel it was well worth the wait. I dont have a Xbox (thank the Gods) and had wanted the game for christmas but got DENIED! LOL Have fun! :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> from all the problems people are having, i am concerned, but from all the trouble OE and LA should get at least one patch out to fix whatever fatal bugs there are. I don't mind waiting though, considering i had to wait until 1.03 patch came out for Kotor I before i could play....so i am used to waiting. But from what i have seen, OE and LA don't seem to care much about the problems, they got their cash, but only time will tell if they really do care about their products after release. I don't moan at the devs or publishers for unfinished games, i just expect them to patch them after release. (not too much to ask is it?) lol

sorry to hear of your trouble. i have yet to play it since it will be delivered tomorrow....hopefully. Some people don't get a single problem with the game, others like yourself get nothing but trouble.

why don't you try 4.11?? alot of people seem to say they work better for Kotor II.
