now-a-days, you never need to switch disks when playing.

It just needs better developer support. not just a 'release the game and forget it exists' type of attitude.

I have just noticed that all the reviews i have seen have been using Nvidia Cards....but i never take reviews seriously anyway, too many of them lie like crazy. So, why don't you get the PC Version, try it out and if you get stopped by major bugs (crashes, sub quests broken etc) then ask about a patch, for all you know, all the reviews could have been using less then the finished product build.

i have seen no game at all take more then 5-7mins to install.

It is still broken in catalyst 5.1; catalyst 4.11 is the most recent release that works well with KoTOR. Hopefully, it would work with KoTOR2 as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmmm, when i next reinstall my computer, i will try the 4.11. i think Lucasarts should get some patches done for Kotor II because they are rather obligated to fixing a game they payed for to be made and we broguht the game, but hey, thye could be one of those companies that think ' why fix a game when we already have their money?'

well, if LA didn't wanna get selfish and greedy you lot would have the game nice and polished.....but if the PC version is buggy as well, OBsidian AND Lucasarts can **** themselves cos i won't be buying any more products from them. I pray they don't do a new Tie Fighter game because if Kotor II PC is too buggy, i won't be getting Tie Fighter. lol

Well, if it is as bad as the reviews claim, i will just place it on the shelf to gather dust and pray that the Devs and LA decide to accually care about their customers instead of their profit margin. (yeh right)

Well, i am giving Obsidian the benefit of the doubt, if they **** me over, they can go **** themselves, because a Developer that thinks more about profit then their customers don't deserve our hard earned cash. I have faith in them, since their other games have been pretty good....well mostly

It should run fine, i personally don't have shadows on, it doesn't make it all glamerous....it makes it look worse to be honest.

my god, all the us people are complaining about it being the 8th? lol us Europe people are getting it on the 11th, so count yourself lucky, you US people get all the stuff first, even if the game is done in the UK, you get it first.........so technically, we have a right to moan. but seriously, the game will be in our hands on the proper release date. US = 8th (so far only 1 store says 10th, but others say 8th) Europe = 11th (all the uk stores say the same, 11th)

are you sure of that ?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> as far as i know. and everyone has different tastes. you might have thought Master of Orion 2 was crap, but i think it was good and still is the best Space Exploration/Empire Building Game.

Well, Amazon.co.uk still says 11th Feb and gamestop says 8th Feb

Well, they are only allowed to dispatch it a day before to make sure you get it at least on the day of release, not before.

damn buggers. lol thats probably because they are finished and are waiting for release. lol

i am lucky to have a 2Ghz CPU and 1GB Memory with ATI Radeon 9800Pro 128MB so, it is going to be pretty smooth on mine. Either way, the ATI bugs are reported to be fixed.

i ain't moaning at the bugs in the game, since i haven't got it. my concerns with the ATI bugs are said to be fixed, so i am just eagerly waiting for the game.

dude, for gods sake the damn game ain't even out yet, so you don't know if there are any bugs....sheesh, wait for the game to be in your hands first.

i surely know the game is gonna be good, granted, i couldn't play Kotor I when it first came out because i had a 9600Pro card at the time, it had problems with it.
