The bug with ATi cards dropping to a few frames a second in the fuel dump area of the first section of the game, and then the movement keys not working anymore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well, for the ATI problem, you should try the 4.11 drivers, anything higher has been known to slow things down on Kotor, i know it does, but since i haven't got Kotor II yet, i don't know.

THINK before you post. They are not going to risk a lawsuit just because a bunch of people whine and bitch for a patch on their forums. well, i don't think Obsidian would want their first product to be a bug-invested disaster, it is bad for business, so i think they should fix them as soon as they can, but i don't see why Lucasarts needs to say yes or no to patches, who cares if they own the rights to Starwars, i would put the customers first, which any decent company would do, but hey, there is no such thing as a decent company.

Indeed, I called play.com yesterday and they said there was a chance that my order might come today since it was dispatched on Wednesday night. If not then definitely Monday. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, these guys are certainly good, much better then Amazon, they couldn't even dispatch it. lol

alot of people i know have yet to enounter any bugs, what ATI Drivers you using? (even if it is omega, or dna, what ones are they based on?) alot of people are saying 4.11 is the best to play the game on, anything lower = faster performance, but higher instability, wither anything higher and you get the problem of slowdowns like on Kotor I in open areas...but i can't confirm this, since i haven't got the game yet. but you should give up on it yet, wait a little while for a big patch, Obsidian and Lucasarts, owe us that much atleast.

well, i cancelled the order with Amazon and ordered at play.com and it has already been dispatched. lol so it was ordered on the 11th and dispatched on the 11th, pretty decent in my opinion. It might be delivered on the 12th, since play.com are using the normal post office to post it and since there is a saturday post, there is a chance, but if not saturday, it will be monday. But i don't think you have an ATI card do ya?

Well, i don't have Kotor II yet, but Kotor I has the problems with 4.12, 5.1 and 5.2 (severe slowdowns in open areas) But from what i read, 4.11 is the latest ATI Driver that doesn't have those slowdowns on Kotor I and perhaps Kotor II as well. But on Kotor I, you had to have ATI Drivers 4.3 to get the nice nifty blow in all the light sources, drivers after 4.4 just don't show them. If you hate it so much, fork out some money and get an Nvidia card..

Pwned, mine was installed by 8:30 am muahha Installed perfected and now playing TSL, looks really good so far, hell, even the tutorial was fun!. Just landed on Pergusus II (sp?) I'm very impressed so far, enjoy your first game, i know i will <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no bugs so far then?

well, i cancelled the order at amazon.co.uk and ordered it at play.com, either way, i doubt i would have got it before the weekend. It is my first time ordering from play.com, so we will see how good they are at delivery. I think there is time to dispatch it today, but i ain't sure if they deliver stuff themselves, i don't know if they deliver on weekends, but i wouldn't nag if they didn't, drivers do have familys to be with and i respect that.

I would cancel and go out and get it yourself. everyone else has their Kotor II and is happyly playing away. while I suffer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't have it either.

It was a Kotor + my sound card specific problem, which i have changed, but i don't really pay attention to music, so i don't care about the quality, just be thankful the game runs. lol But i doubt there will be any patches, since Lucasarts virtually cut all funding when the Xbox version came out in December. Yep, that Lucasarts for ya, money first, then screw the customers. lol

ok, the guys with ATI graphic cards, you are getting glitches right? which drivers you using? I should be getting my game tomorrow.....you should try the latest drivers if you haven't already because the developers said that the latest ATI Drivers is a big must since all the ATI specific bugs and glitches found during the bug fixing were fixed either by repairing the engine or by ATI with the help of Obsidian...so try the latest ones. 4.11, 4.12, 5.1 and 5.2 Right now, i have 4.11 installed, i plan to try them all. (if they have a problem)

well, either way, if it gets dispatched at 12:05am, it is technically the 11th and that means they didn't dispatch it on their estimated date

It is thier best guess, if they knew, then they would not have to estimate. But still, since they were trying to take payment from me this morning then it suggests that they are doing something. *shrugs* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> they always take money first, probably days before doing anything.
