  1. Remember, the blackjack is the best weapon in the game. Just whack everything unconscious. Everything. Exploding frogs, ratmen, hammerites, etc
  2. Gogol Bordello - Wonderlust king
  3. If Archie has been doing your sister and she is related to sheep... Hey...I didn't know ewes could write!
  4. Massive Attack - Inertia creeps Massive Attack - Butterfly caught Air - Underground suicides lolwut, alternate/electric day.
  5. Thanks! As a matter of interest, though, don't you consider a good plot to be integral to a good game?* *Unless it is a game that relies has a focus on non-story elements, such as simulation (e.g. the SimCity series). How are you supposed to answer that question? You already answered it yourself. Think of such games as Tetris, Quake 2 and for instance Pharaoh. Either there's no story or it's not really the reason why people play. We might argue that plotless games aren't "good games", but kinetic combat or for instance intelligent game design can go a long way in terms of keeping people entertained.
  6. Right, I'll call the stars "Nick and Llyr" from now on.
  7. Same. And I'll gladly take an alternate shadow reality which transforms the locals into manifestations of your unconscious fears over a town full of shotgun-wielding maniacs and living dead any day. Not to mention, the former has so far given a chance of survival to every odd straggler that decides to stumble inside its borders, but to enter Raccoon City you absolutely need assault and weaponry training in order to survive the various genetically enhanced monstrosities and zombie hordes. At least in Silent Hill I can survive with a lead pipe and my wits about. Also, no need to eat and a hot nurses. Another interesting comparison that springs to mind would be between the village in Forbidden Siren and the mall in Dead Rising. First is hell on earth, second is full of psychopaths and a million zed-heads.
  8. I get horrible alt-rock poser vibes from each cover. Except Boomer's which looks like an old Bay Area thrash album.
  9. Massive Attack - Karmacoma
  10. It's "Darude" Yeah, local idiots. ETOS - Prophetian Ah, high school days.
  11. I didn't psychoramble. I made pancaeks with the missus, snuggled, read theoretical grammar and listened to Air. Mmmm, pancaeks...
  12. As a normal person with functioning eyes, I can indeed attest that it is so.
  13. Daft Punk - Too long
  14. Daft Punk - Phoenix(Basement Jaxx remix) Nice
  15. I'd prefer if there wasn't one. Those things tend to attract people that are only here for the debate, rather than actually having anything to do with Obsidian and it's games. Don't get me wrong, Commissar was a cool guy, but I'd like this to be a games forum.
  16. I saw that earlier today and had a nerdgasm. The transition from the old NES game graphics to the new rendition, especially with the music support, made me gush. I hope there's combo moves in co-op.
  17. Lovable Lovecraft-themed indie punk rock from West Coast. Youtube for the win. Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - The shadow out of Tim
  18. I don't think a Prince of Persia style four button(left arm, right arm/grab, jump, block) combo system should be implemented into rpgs. Two Thrones is one of my favorite actions games ever, but I think KotOR deserves something more tactical.
  19. The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets - The Innsmouth Look "I slept my old self and slept in toooo the seaaaaa! One glance was all it took She gave me the Innsmouth look! One glance was all it took She gave me the Innsmouth look!"
  20. Shpongle - Levitation Nation Oh, meu Brasil, Overdose de amor nos tr
  21. Beyond Good and Evil?
  22. Not all of us have a 24/7-biojack into Teh Internets, u fool. About the commercial, it was pretty grand. I don't exactly dig eighties stuff, but that was visually like Disney's Fantasia and pop culture combined! Without handlebars! I don't know if I'd recommend watching it, other than slight nostalgia, but the imagery is obviously the grand entree of what would be later called Gainax, hehheh.
