  1. I hope they didn't sell too many. I'm a bit afraid actually. With a game so hyped, you'd think that spoilers be everywhere soon. I might have to quit Teh Internets soon. Take a hiatus and actually play the game.
  2. Supposedly, some stores(like Toys R Us) already have it in stores. Things are a bit woozy though.
  3. Augh, Love Hina is rather hard to recommend, though I've only read some of the manga, because while it is decently funny, the demographic is still teenage boys, it's comedy-romance and ecchi afterall. Rather, I'd suggest you watch Honey and Clover. It's still the same "group of friends live in an apartment"-format, but ways more mature. And when I write "mature", I mean that it's written(and directed) for an entirely different reader than Love Hina. H&C is a romance manga/anime though and through, but the author has managed to inject crazed humor and slapstick in the daily lives of his characters. It can be incredibly deep in parts, as the main character Takemoto thinks of his relationship to his friends and family and ultimately their place in the world, but it can also drop you from your chair because Takemoto's friend is an insane nigh-dropout art student who insists on dressing their mutual friend into a mouse costume and supposedly sees an entirely different world from everyone else, one where e.g the concept of property is not applicable.
  4. I bet there'd be loot in the cave. You don't like loot?
  5. Because the accent is hard to do. Believe me, I've tried.
  6. I meant overpowered with the electrobolt. I just feel sorta cheated that I can once again whack my way through start levels, supposedly. I do hope the splicers get some sort of countermeasure for that combo, after Medical(the area after demo) for example.
  7. I love playing a Chaotic Neutral warlock. It's so fun to occasionally go ape**** rather than play a condescending "lawful" good cleric of Kossuth who has anger management problems because none of the party members fit his alignment or persona. Edit: Yeah, it's NWN 2.
  8. Did anyone else feel that the wrench was once again overpowered?
  9. Kingston Wall - Nepal(and everything from the first album)
  10. On the Major Nelson podcast Ken Levine said that it was an early part of the game "modified" for a demo. So it's possible you don't get incinerate that early in the full game. I'm assuming lightning bolt or whatever they call it is supposed to be the first plasmid you get. Oh, it's obviously a demo level. It felt like that FEAR demo to me, they show a lot of neat stuff, but the actual mechanics are not available yet, there's no ecosystem or anything and they throw plasmids at you like there's no tomorrow, heh. Couple of other things, since there's no inventory at all, but all health stuffs, tonics and similar gets stored in their own space and only show up as numbers in the screen, similar to any fps, you have to use all consumables in the spot. IIRC, alcohol gives you health and drops your eva points and cigs do the same reversed. I found it nifty. Also, the hand effects with plasmids are godly, especially the burnmarks in Incinerate.
  11. Right, NWN 2 playthrough as a Warlock is a-go! MUhaahhahahhahhaa!
  12. Hah, I remember that boxart from a pirate! I also thought it was from back then.
  13. Megaman 2. I'll never, ever play that game again. Not even if you swore to axemurder me.
  14. theslug: Very short portion of an early level, I presumed. There's stuff to fiddle, but it's in a small space. Mesh: I didn't check as I don't own the console. It's likely though.
  15. The Girl Who Pierced Time(Toki wa Kakeru Shoujo) Ookay, as animation films go, this was top notch. Incredibly believable, emotive characters, fun and light-hearted and yet sad and tumultous. The story of a high schooler who learns how to time leap, to turn back time and redo things. Initially she uses it to get merits for herself, like perfect grades, spend 10 hours in a karaoke, sleep in late and not miss school, etc, but slowly it sort of appears to her that her actions are taking free will out of other's hands, especially when she tries to set things straight again and fails utterly. It's not a beatiful past time, a sugarcoated story with some soddin' moral teaching, by any means though. I don't think I've found anything animated so down-to-earth lately, and that's the film's strength - it's hard to not like so real characters.
  16. They had like every plasmid in the demo, it felt kind of stupid finding Incinerate from a bathroom floor, etc. Superb graphics, total blast audiovisually and the everything just clicked into place. Sort of felt cheated that you couldn't fight a big daddy or do much at all in terms of quests though. On Xbox, the targeting feels somewhat similar to Perfect Dark Zero, in the way that it is rather sluggish. No, not slow, rather the autoaim is sort of akward and it takes a while to get used to it. Works perfectly after that, fortunately. Yeah, it is an awesome demo for a hopefully awesome game.
  17. Seconded. Also, I want to see how it works on my old workhorse.
  18. The test kit is only there if you really want to make it harder for yourself. At some parts of the game, you can punitively launch nearly everyone in you team into thing-rage. Everyone's going to turn anyway, so why bother, but this makes the game incredibly harder. It doesn't always work though.
  19. When I was playing Fallout Tactics, it was PC. When I shifted momentarily to Mutant Storm Reloaded Co-op, it was 360. Back at home I took a stint at Ninja Gaiden and then original Xbox was golden. Then I went to a friend to play Shadow of Rome and swore in PS2's name. I don't think I will vote.
  20. Yeah, they are. Thanks to someone from a year ago for linking their myspace to this thread. Yoko Kanno - Piano Black

A living Atlantic red manowar, which I'd promptly sacrifice to lord Chtulhu, resulting in a gigantic rift of reality - enough to both tear me and the penitentiary into enormous non-euclidian wafts of organic material and stone and forever damning everybody in the radius to eternal servitude clawing their newfound fins and screeching to the burning sun. Oh, the burning sun...I laugh and dance as you assault this new visage of mine.

    *puff* Quite.

  24. Ouh, I felt that. It stung. (Wanker)
