I think the biggest love I hold towards HL 2 over HL 1 is the setting. East-bloc dystopia/scifi is, like semitic epic/space opera, a great thematic bunch.

I don't understand how you can't be excited about Assassin's Creed. It's made by the same people(apparently almost the same team even) that made Prince of Persia: Two Thrones, it has virtually exactly similar gameplay, aestethics and world, it's full of emergent gameplay(lol gaembox vocablurary!!1),has killer graphics to boot and is a spiritual successor to PoP games. I mean, what's not to like? Lack of Godsmack?

I'm trying to get my friend to buy Overlord. Because my comp can't handle it. So far, not a plenty of success. I'm supposed to get a killer laptop come September, but I'm itching to play the thing now. I also just finished Max Payne 2. I'm divided on the game, but I'll play it a bit more before saying anything. I must admit that it's one thing, it's definetly not Max Payne 1.

I'm in about halfway through(Armacham Research Division, after the turrets) and so far it has been the worst horror and best fps action game ever. Granted, the emergent action is rather repetitive, but FEAR is about the only game I've seen with this much enemy-enviroment interaction, adaptivity and just killer intensity. Also, kicks.

Out of interest, Tale, how scary was FEAR to you? Mind, if you have played it.

If my post didn't get it across, 28 Weeks Later was good and definetly a must-see, tons better than Land of the Dead till exempel, but not as good as the prequel. I don't hate it or anything.
