I'm playing Shivering Isles and enjoying it immensely. Now, when I actually know how to build a character and the most glaring flaws, shallow campaign story and dialogue and characters, are fixed, it's a great experience. It's a ton better game than Oblivion. Also, FEAR: Bullet time+shotgun+running on Replica's face=instant giblet rain!

I liked it up until the Night Elves, which I thought were a bad design decision. The whole time I felt robbed of the original Alliance races and playing a mish mash of Drow and Dryads, like something marketing had created to act as T&A of the game(WoW was even worse in that regard). I mean, you got demons, regular elves and Kirin Tor, why another magic race?

No problem.

Before Warcraft Adventures got cancelled(curse you Blizzard!) and Warcraft 3 turned into a regular rts, I quite liked what they had going with the whole corrupted humans and guerilla orcs. Fighting for freedom, but also power and nobody was good, only shades of grey and the Burning Legion.

I thought the Superboy comics were better.

I know about the propaganda, the Tojo and how Truman had to choose the lesser of the two evils, but killing 180 thousand civilians, completely vaporising a city and calling it good. I understand that it's just the wording that makes it appear so, I'd never assume anyone would think sacrificing civilians as good, but even so...dropping atomic bombs on cities should never. Appear in the sentence as "good". Such a huge tragedy can't be just ignored with "oh, we couldn't do anything else".
