  1. Gogol Bordello - My weird uncles
  2. I want Milla Jovovich in that suit.
  3. The plot is atrocious, but goddamn that movie rules visually and aurally. I've never gotten tired of it.
  4. I will now proceed to read more of Black Library and gnash my teeth at the lost opportunities.
  5. Hunger for power at the expense of everything else is not really doing "what's best for the universe". These are people that might have initially been misled and uncorrupted, but ended up doing murders for their cause, giving up their humanity to corruption in exchange for power and attacking the established societal order, in this case Republic, to achieve their goals. That's a murderer, a tyrant and a terrorist all wrapped into one neat package. They also are willing to even kill their comrades, unlike your good old religious zealots, to attain a higher rank in power. Greed, anyone? Also, I can't remember a Sith that hasn't thrown lightning and kinetic force on whomever is on their path and absolutely revelled in the surges of their perverted use of the Force. And since the Force is an all-encompassing semi-sentient lifeforce, doing that is pretty much like gouging eyes from a puppy and being happy about it. I'd call that pretty evil. You can sugarcoat their ascendance to power as "culture", but I'd call it a religo-political-paramilitary sect on civilization's underbelly. Pretty damn evil. Lots of stuff about how this teeter-tootering on the pseudo-ethical precipice was complete crap and useless. Wait...why can't you remember? We talked about this "post on the internet when drunk"-thing of yours before, right?
  6. Man, I wish Inquisitor was actually a "realistic potential project".
  7. Original Ninja Gaiden tends to crash ever so often, but besides that the compatibility is pretty solid.
  8. "a SciFi world original" *wants a Remember of Phlebas rpg*
  9. Since when has Paganism been an established religion anyway? We're talking about a bunch of goons who mix and mash old druidic stuff mistranslated from Cycles of Telan and Don and season it with popular culture characters and stuff from cheap Black mass books bought second hand in a pawnshop, aka complete ****ing hacks.
  10. Melechesh - Tablets of fate
  11. I think it's stupid how even though Bioware are absolutely swimming in money, they keep trying to be Blizzard. Nice business model, but I sort of miss the company's roots.
  12. Shpongle - Around the world in a tea daze
  13. *sigh* Gameplaywise, it's still a form of magic. And I can't understand why Bioware can't try to squeeze at least one bit of originality from their collective think tank. Right now, it looks like K3, they'll probably add "laser rapiers" or "mass swords" in as well. Ugh, colour me uninterested. Only thing that could save this would be awesome gameplay and interesting characters. So far, both look about as deep as Freedom Fighters.
  14. "Mary Sue" is a metacharacter in fiction that the author uses to portray her self on the story. There are several types, but the most prominent one is usually a "perfect" character which author uses to solve unresolved issues, live fantasies and be an allaround hero. This kind of characteration usually appears in fan fiction in particular, where Mary Sue characters often have all the knowledge of their author, aka omniscience, and can use that to easily bend all her favorite to her will, kill of ones that she perceives as villains and raise hypogamies with all her favorite characters, who probably change their views, sexual bias and persona at her whim at her will as well. In short, it's a poor form of characteration in fiction.
  15. Well, Cantousent could be Tyler Durden, for all we know.
  16. Liking Evanescence is sort of like being a fly. You associate yourself into a powerful majority group, but tend to like ****.
  17. http://machodance.ytmnd.com/ That made my day. Among a variety of other things. Edit: I've realised that it's not realy fair if all Potter fanboys get spoiled, so don't click the link if you associate with them. Moonsorrow - Tuulen tyt
  18. I saw this before at Forumopolis, should have posted earlier. Oh ye mighty British regular weather, I summon thee! I mean, it's not like it does rain every other hour in England. No, you need magic. Anyone else think that supposed relic there(I don't think they've ever studied it's age) should be bombed and Homer left? It's way funnier and mightily less unnerving. Not to mention, I don't think I want to support British Pagans, or anyone calling themselves Pagans. I mean, geez.
  19. Fall-from-Grace, a rebel succubus cleric. You know, those archetypal man-seducing, soul-drinking hellbitches. This one's just benevolent. And an unfinished love interest for the main character. She works as the main, and pretty much the only, healer in the party and most of her quests surround the Society of the Sensates, a group in the interplanar Sigil(the city where the game is mostly situated) that is hellbent of experiences, sensations and such and recording them.
  20. Quo usque tandem abutere patientia nostra. "Si hoc legere scis, nimis eruditionis habes" ahhahhaa Si tu dixero, necesse erit ut tu interficiam. Heh, quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
  21. X3, definetly. Freelancer is more of a fighter, sort of a hack'n'slash in space with a bias on factions rather than 'you against the world' and it has a trading element; piracy smuggling and allaround drudgery, but the main focus is still survival in space, instead of prospering via trade. Also, Freelancer feels a bit spartan once you try the more modern privateer games. That said, nothing beats Freelancer online, nothing.
  22. Worked for me. The Genasi look really cool, and the campaign as well. Lots of potential in Thay and Rashemen for story and the notion of added player choice is a welcome addition. I'll definetly buy this.
