Same for me. Well, I've yet to play K2.

You might like to see them in their native web enviroment: http://www.stormfront.org/forum/ They even had a gaming forum last time I looked. And one for gardening. I try to avoid reading the threads nowadays, since the stupidity there knows no bounds and I kept having to restrain myself from registering and ending up in a huge unwinnable flahttp://forums.obsidianent.com/style_images/Obsidian/folder_editor_images/rte-emo-button.png Emoticonsmefest. Edit:Eh, I failed yet again and just had to read the "discussion boards", if not for anything else, then for the crazy supremacist who spends fifteen pages to explain why Semitic people are genetically inferior. It's hard to understand how a place that looks and works so professionally can be so bigoted and racist. It's just mindnumbing, just absurd how such a group of lowlifes can lead this kind of community without succumbing to their collective childhood traumas. It's obvious that a lot of them don't really even know what they are doing. Just hanging on to something, like a skinhead gang that keeps together simply because there seems to be nothing else to keep their communal psyche together. Heh, probably the funniest side to the whole site are the ones that want to keep the "American race" pure. Man, I too want to keep my Swedish-Russian-Dutch-Karelian roots pure! I think that my Yankee brothers should stand for their Italian-Irish-Dutch-German-Spanish rights! For Kansas!

They do look like condoms, don't they?

Personally, I'd like if they had just gone with the Assyrian, Tales of the Jedi(which was supposedly in the same continuum as KotOR)look instead of trying to imitate the movies. K1 especially had it bad, as Exar Kun(originally imagined in the comics) had supposedly died 50 years ago and all the cool ancient stuff that made the comics reasonably decent had just disappeared in that time. It's like all the designs just jumped 4000 years forward, the Exchangy, ship designs, cities, everything. Even I had time imagining a universe staying in a cultural and technological deathstage for four millennia, not to mention everything changing in five decades. In any case, the Assyrian look was way cooler than this semi-SW.
-
I thought what made the KotOR's cool was that they were the first SW-rpgs. If they'd been some random scifi-trite, I don't think I would have bothered with them.

Then you shouldn't be playing on PC rofl.

Yes. Female majority on campus acquaints one with these things. Unfortunately. I like Hobb's ideas(FizChivalry x Fool/Amber, no thanks), just not her attitude. I've read her "blog" somewhat and she came across as a spiteful old hag everytime someone mentioned fanworks. Then again, I know I'd be angry if I saw what they do to my characters in Teh Internets. Jesus, and some of these people call themselves fans, ffs.

Hagrid x Neville Keep your wits about you and stay with ReTakes and ReDeaths, at least you'll be sane.

Chicks+big swords=Tale does not like Does not compute. At all. Golden Axe has the potential to be a real time-eater. I must've spent dozens of hours hacking away on Amiga 500, hehh heh.

I agree. If Rowling has anything to be proud of, it's this revival.
-
And stop using "with gusto". I hate that phrase. Also, it's hard to read Potters once you realise how big archetypes the characters actually are. I mean, having read a childhood's worth of Enid Blyton, you come recognize some patterns.

And The First Killzone 2 Screenshot!!!!!one11!!
Musopticon? replied to karka's topic in Computer and Console
I'm more hyped about MOH:Airborne and CoD 4 than Killzone 1.5. It really looks exactly like Killzone 1, just with new enemies and fancy light(n)ing. -
The Halo trailers were decent. I don't understand exclusives anymore. Then again, I want my Heavenly Sword for 360.
-
Forget the Screenshot thread! Killzone 2 trailer up!
Musopticon? replied to Meshugger's topic in Computer and Console
Yeah, I wasn't terribly impressed. Killzone 1 was a real letdown, so I'm kinda reserved. Also, I didn't like Gears of War all that much, so no bias here. -
It's nice enough that it gets every dumb**** from here to Zooster to read instead of endlessly watch tv. Eh. I'm reading Conn Iggulden's Emperor:Gods of War Prety decent, but then again...he's Conn Iggulden ffs.

I actually meant that Seirei no Moribito is the exact opposite. It's episodes are nought but a coherent narrative string, no fillers whatsoever. Just an ongoing story. I'd like to know what you have actually watched, because "absolutely nothing going on plotwise" is a really odd statement, considering there's been hardly any breaks in the story. Even if the party stops, there's always Imperial plots and such going on the background, never a dull moment. Just wondering here...

the red lights of doom? three year warranty!
Musopticon? replied to Calax's topic in Computer and Console
There's a battery charger option, bought separately, but what it essentially means is that you have to use a cord from time to time. Not so cordless controller, really. Then again, you'll never have to mess around with crossed cords or untie knots. -
Wait, the latest arc of Darker... had Finns. Now that's something you don't see every day. Hei has a Finnish Doll. Also: Death Note parody. It seems like someone else didn't like the adaptation either.

I saw Underworld:Evolution as well. Complete garbage. The main actress can't act her way out of a cardboard box and the plot was tacked on and completely without drive. The fighting was decent, but fell short on the last battle. I was waiting quite a bit more. Though I've yet to see the first one, because the whole premise is "oh-so-gothy".
-
Yeah, the series should have been done with death. Granted, I was pretty hyped for the new tankobons, but I never finished them because the villains were stupid. Mello(the chocolat-eater) had potential, but ultimately fell flat and ended up just being psychotic normal villain.

Darker then black is easily one of the most sluggish animes I've ever seen. It just feels like they don't really know where to go with it. There seems to be no tie-ins between the story arcs and no main story whatsoever besides Hei's search for her sister. And even that hasn't had a plot point for a while. It's a fine anime, but it seems to fall flat lately. Now, Seirei no moribito on the other hand...
