  1. What? You dont know women can get that scary? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey... I'm not scary! I'm just... single-minded and goal orientated. Yeah, that's it.
  2. There seem to be a few areas on the differant planets where you can SEE some place, but just can't get there. Another example would be if you stand on the over hang outside of the TSF office... you can actually SEE the little flying patrols driods that would've been part of the HK base. But you can't get there. There was also a room or two on Nar Shadda that I remember not being able to find a door for. Oh... and one on Onderon.
  3. Of course, as long as you gave the PC the choice of throwing him down on the ground, jumping on top of him and saying something along the lines of... "Why don't you just SHOW me, you big strong horny fellow! That's an order, solider!"... I would be perfectly happy with that. You could even fade to black like they did with the whole Basti-kissing thing in KotOR.
  4. You don't hear much more from him, but keeping trying. And it isn't a bug. This is just when he notices the changes in you. I am playing DS female and he gave me that same speech on Telos.
  5. You're all BABIES!! (w00t) I'm 38... just like Carth ( ). See? It's the perfect age! LOL It is very funny to go over to a friends home and have their teenaged sons come up and want to talk gaming. ("Mrs. T is coming over? Sweet! I can ask her about her Sith Lords DS build!" " )
  6. Huh... there WAS Zabrak armor? *kicks the random loot generator* Iridonian... Zabrak... Stud-Muffin... it's all the same to me!
  7. Come on! Most games come out a little buggie... even a lot buggie! *cough*KotORI*cough, cough* (Just how many patches did the first one need to be playable?!) Sith Lords is a great RPG... everything you do or say has a consequence... many of them un-forseen. This makes the replay value on this thing huge! Yes, it could've been even more wonderful with all the cut content. (There seems to be a rainbow of MORE choices in there!!) But it was still the best RPG out there right now.
  8. 1. Bao-Dur ... yummy... just yummy. 2. Kriea... an example of perfect voice casting if there ever was one! 3. Darth Sion... ooooo... creeped even me out.
  9. What was really great about the cut endings is that your choices had consequesnces... and the re-play value was fantastic! I think that the whole accountablity thing was huge in this game and I think that that says a lot about the struggle between good and evil. As I understand it... if you are LS... your companions all meet and try to save you. (With all of this cut, it seems strange that you go flying out of the Hawk, but no one else does... except Mira and she just fights Hanharr and then you never see her again.) They get taken hostage and you have to make a choice... free them and weaken yourself or let them be killed/tortured/turned and face Sion/Kriea at your full strength. That is one hell of a cool choice for a LSer to have to make! Plus, this whole "influence" thing takes on a new meaning when you see that your attention means so much to you NPCs that they will even convert to DS and kill another NPC becasue they are jealous of your time! I mean... wow. Talk about adding another dimension to the playing of the game!
  10. Look at all the Bao-Dur lovers here! Ladies... do we have taste or what? For the longest time I was the only one and even had one of the guys ask me if I was serious when I said that I thought he was the cutest thing! :D I think the fact the Kriea can't see Bao-Dur at all bodes well for him in KotOR3... if they bring back the Exile at all.
  11. Bao-Dur doesn't have a lot to say, but like with most deep-thinkers, you should listen to waht he does say. He is a really wonderful NPC... not too mention the fact that he looks HOT in his tight black t-shirt.
  12. Carth is written much like I wish Anomen had been written. They were both Little Boy Scouts... so Lawful Good and squeeky clean! But one "Get over yourself!" to Ano and he drops you like a hot potato. You have to coddle the man if you want to get to the good stuff. Now, the Carthi-licous One *sigh*, you get to actually make REAL responses to him and as long as you aren't nasty when he talks about his wife or his son, all is well and he certainly does give as well as he gets! I imagine a Bao-Dur romance would be very much like that, too. LOL... you had to know that that was coming!! "
  13. Nope... Disciple. We never even left the room in which I found him. "
  14. Atton: I saw her first! Disciple: But I have a British accent. Chicks, dig that! Atton: But look at your HAIR?! Dicisple (looking around): Hey, where did she go? Atton (looking around... finally understanding): I have a better question? Why is Bao-Dur missing, too?
  15. Who looks the best in that outfit? ME.. of course. "
  16. It's not for sure... until then I am camping out right here. *pitches a tent and puts out snacks* " Have you *been* over to LA's forums? I went once and I am still trying to get the image of thousands of teenaged boys jumping in a pile and yelling loudly about how KEWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL their build was.
  17. Must say... that that line ranked right up there with Valen's "Yes, my Love?" for re-play value. Just as I would just tap Valen at oddtimes during the game jsut to here him say that, I did the same to Bao-Dur. Things I want you for? How much time do we have? Should I list them by priority or alphabetically or... maybe just as I think of them? :D
  18. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh... my! That is too funny! Somehow I always took Atton as one of the guys who scratched when no one was looking... now I have proof!
  19. I voted for Bao Dur... becasue everyone else was going to vote for Carth. Of the two... Carth is the clear winner, but Bao Dur is a close runner up. I think that a romance could actually work between Bao Dur and the Exile. Poor Carth and Revan don't have a snow ball's chance in hell ... my opinion only. (I invite you to read both my LS and DS fics over at FanFic.net to explore that opinion.)
  20. Back to topic then... *clears throat* Love Bao Dur ... love the horns and the voice and the fact that he called my "General" and that he was just too cute for words and he wore that awesome tight black t-shirt and that his journey really mirrors the Exile's and that no one can hear him but the Exile and... and... and... he is just to squee-licious! Anyone that can create the newest pixcel love of my life is just... awesome! How was that?! " Seriously... it's a good game, OE. I am looking forward to NWN2.
  21. I will probably wait abit... save my pennys... check out the fixes that the patch will give... and then I have enough of both (pennys and fixes), I will shell out for the PC game, too. :"> Can you say... sucker? I knew you could. Oh... and that's not a dig on OE. It's just a fact of life for those of us who play Xbox first.
  22. You think not? Why don't you go on over to Bioware and try it. I'll wait right here for you. " No?
  23. Oh... I am sooooo with you there, brother! *shudders* As for LA as an option...
  24. Alright... I admit it. Plooby is late to the party! Thank you, Aurora for the wonderful linky to the Romance Novel Covers... way back on page 2. I am still wipping the tears from my eyes from laughing so hard. LOL! Lord of the Hissy-Fit, indeed. I do think that the romance (from the female side at least... haven't played a male PC yet) is under-developed and almost non-existant. It's as if one was set up (like Handmaiden vs. Visas) but there was no follow through. As we know, there did seem to be a pay-off planned in the cut end scenes. *shrugs* And you all know that I would've perfered that the ever-so yummy Bao Dur was an option for romance. But, that is what fanfics were created for!
