  1. Oh, yeah... that's what I want. I want to be like the annoying little kid that couldn't act his way out of a paper bag. Now that is what the point of this game should've been. Add a cameo by JarJar and a whole planet of Ewoks and I'm sooooo there.
  2. I was waiting for Epiphany to say that. You are nothing but consistant, darlin'.
  3. Powers and abilites that stem from the Force do not make a Jedi....or a Sith. The capacity for good or evil, albeit dormant, remains present in the souls of all sentients. Despite being cut off from the Force, Ulic Qel Droma still 'disappeared' to become one with the Force - a phenomenon reserved for only true Jedi Masters. Though he no longer had Force powers, he truly understood the nature of the force; and more importantly, possesed the HEART of a Jedi. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jag is just picking on me... becuase he can't answer my other questions!
  4. A new drinking game... get ripped and then post on OE. Come on Ploppy, you can think of something better to do with a good buzz.
  5. His backstory was much more than Kal wrote. He wasn't supposed to kill the Jedis, but he did... and he *liked* it. He enjoyed hunting them down and killing or, even better, breaking them and truning the to the Sith. That's why he can blank out his mind. It is that skill that allowed him to get close to the Jedi... close enough to kill... with explosives or poisons. He sounded like one psycho-bas... ummm... guy. Then a Jedi (a woman) comes to *him* and says that she is there to save him... save him from what he was becoming... that he was worth saving... and this ticks him off huge. He starts to choke the life out of her and at that moment, she opens her mind to him so that he can feel the Force. It is so beautiful and wonderful... that he can't stand it... and he loved her (for showing him this and for thinking him worthy of salvation) and hated her (for showing him what he had killed and for throwing away her life trying to save him)... so he kills her. It is after that that he flees the Sith and hides out on Nar Shadda.
  6. Jag, my friend... you are a tease. Help me out here, buddy! I see that you haven't answered my question about how many mastery Jedis you can have in your group, either. *taps foot* "
  7. I have some questions about the things that happened at the end that even after two playthroughs I still don't understand... 1) We go back to Telos for the big fight there and we are fighting our way through the station to get to the shuttle bay and suddenly Atton stops and starts talking. (actually the fight was still going on, which happened a couple of times in the game and was really annoying. <_< ) He says something about... what's going on? We were talking and then this uncontrolable urge came over me... and then he says, "When you want someone killed, give me a little warning." Okay, I guess this is an example of how I *make* everyone do things that they may not want to do. But, we had really already covered this and with my little talk with Disciple, he said that no, he did things because he beleived in what I was doing. So, I guess the question is, do I control their emotions/feelings and inspire them to fight or do I actually control their actions? And if I do, it sure as shooting took Atton a long time to come to the party... I mean, we had fought our way almost to the shuttle bays! 2) What were the Mandelorians doing on the Raveger that they didn't want the Republic to know about? Is that another set up for KotORIII? 3) If Go To was controling Remote at the end and he didn't want to blow up Mal V, why and how did it blow up? Does little Remote over power Go To and get the job done or does Go To change it's mind? And how do either one of them know what has happened or been said between Kreia and I? From the Cut scene, I kill Kreia; the world starts to break apart; I run out; I jump on the Hawk and we high tail it out of the there right as the planet is destroyed. Any ideas? Just wondered what you all thought. :D
  8. I got the flirt packs and banter packs - bought the game two days ago (only $16.00!). I'm a little disappointed with the game combat-wise though; after playing NWN, being restricted to certain classes and limited to only certain cross-classes is really annoying. However, I am enjoying the story very much! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sadly, yes. I played the NWN games first and back bought BGII and it took some getting used to. But the story is first rate. I am so glad that you are having fun! :D
  9. Nah... it wasn't broken LS. I killed them on the planet surface and completed the quest.
  10. Shhhhhhhhh! Don't give them any ideas! (w00t) I can see some dev now reading this thinking... "Damn! We forgot to put in Ewoks! And while we're at it, maybe we can bring in some of those JarJar characters, too!!"
  11. This last time through the game, I had Disciple, Atton, Bao Dur ( ), Mira and Visas all Jedi... all so lightside that they were shooting stars, just like me; but, only Disciple and Atton (and me, of course) had Mastery. So, I was wondering, is it possible to get *all* the new Jedi into mastery level or is there a maximum number... 2.
  12. Okay, Kal... you are relly going to have to warn me before you say something this funny again, okay? I almost spewed coffee all over my monitor and people are looking at me funny! (w00t)
  13. I wonder if it is random? I got them the first time through, but not the second and I have been racking my brain to figure out what I did differently. And I didn't even *see* them and never got the option to lie.
  14. I thnk one of the points of the game is that YOU are not a Jedi... you are a Force Sucker... but you TRAIN all the Jedi that there are left. By the time you cruise into Mal V you should have a boat chock full of Jedi!
  15. True... the only person that she seemed certain of was Disciple, as I remember it. She couldn't see Bao Dur ( ) at all and all she said about Atton was that he was a fool.
  16. I would have to say Attons... for the pure shock value. It was very odd that after dropping that big old... poop in the punch bowl, you just train him as a Jedi and all is well. No one mentions it again... and he still plays the "third grade boy in love" and follows the PC (female) around making puppy dog eyes, but refuesing to actually speak to her. There really could've (and should've) been more to him. Keria was the most fleshed out charater on board... and her voice made her even more fantastic.
  17. I played with a very high Charisma and I had Visas, Atton, Bao Dur, Mira and Disciple all getting "shooting stars" on the Light Side chart... and I could use the DS powers (which are very fun!) without paying a big penalty. :D
  18. I have read this this whole thread now and I can say that after two (almost) play throughs my game has never crashed. (w00t) The loading of areas seems to take forever, but I think that's just my impatient nature. I have had the PC or NPCs run away and then way around when re-targetting, but I find that actually kind of funny. (Okay... so I have an odd snese of humor!) And sinc emost of the fights are down right cake walks, it didn't hurt anything. I do remember now having my PC (or maybe it was when I was Mira) walking not being able to open dorrs in the alien bar on Nar Shadda, but she could just walk through the doors... so it really wasn't a big deal. I wonder if I am just really, really lucky (maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket? :D ) or there is something else going on here. My Xbox is brand-spanking new. Could that be it?
  19. AHHHHHHHHHHH! (w00t) My game has NEVER frozen... ever. *looks around and then knocks wood* Maybe I just jinxed myself, but it is the truth... darn it! (w00t)
  20. I have played the game twice (well... almost!) and my game has NEVER frozen and I once played the whole day with only potty breaks and the occasional trip to the kitchen for more coffee. And the buffing skills don't work becuase your character is LS? Did they work for you DS characters? I don't what you are trying to say, but go ahead and take the game back. As for Obisidian not "caring", that is just silly! <_< The devs do post here... as much or more than with most companies. I mean, please! These people are busy, too... doing their jobs... dev games, right? They simply can't be here every second of the day or there wouldn't *be* any games to play! Yes, the game was rushed... blah, blah, blah... everyone knows that. But think about who *wanted* it rushed and go post there.
  21. This is all true, B5C... but why shut down these forums? Why not just *add* forums at Bioware? I mean, LA has their own KotOR forums, but there still exsists a KotOR forum on Bioware (where you can talk abut Sith Lords, too!) and the Sith Lords forums here. Wouldn't that just make way more sense? That way... everone is happy. I will tell you that the "talk" on a few other sites that I post on is that Bioware *is* taking over NWN2. Now I know that that isn't true, but that's how it *looks* when something like this happens.
  22. Good idea, Darque! The US will pull all forces and aid out of every other country and work only within it's own borders. Yes... I am sure that is the answer! And, Vault, that's a good idea... maybe you could start digging your fall-out shelter... right now. I have always lived near where the "first strikes" will be... and if you live your life like that... like Henny Penny... "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!"... you are going to have a pretty sucky life. My advice? Stop complaining and whining... live your life... vote and be active... educate yourself... think... but be reasonable. THere are many, many safe gaurds in the US. One man can't do anything all on his own.
