  1. Check out my Light Saber walkthrough in the Spoiler Forum. - dr cloak
  2. Bleh. What games are you currently playing? - dr cloak
  3. C'mon Hades. You have to atleast give the PC version a shot. Regardless of how critical you are about the game, I can say with certainty that you will have FUN. After you beat it, then you can bash it some more rofl - dr cloak
  4. Don't put too much stock in typed words, my friend. Back in the early 90s, I worked at an Automotive Engineering company. My boss (extraordinarily smart guy) had a habit of cutting you off in mid-sentence. You would start talking to him, and before you could say your 5th word, he would quickly say "Irrelevant!" and walk away. He sometimes used "Inconsequential!" and "Insignificant!" as well. Initially people took offense to this arrogant brashness. But in time, they grew to appreciate it. Fact of the matter was his mind was normally occupied with a dozen things at once, and if what you had to say wasn't important enough to supersede any of these thoughts, you were immediately cut off lol. - dr cloak
  5. Raising the level cap in of itself is not a bad thing. Its mainly the gear/equipment bonuses, as well as a couple of "I WIN" force powers that hurts it. If you're going to have one piece of equipment give you a total of 12 attribute points, you need to ramp up the strength, A.I., damage output, frequency, etc. of the enemies you face. - dr cloak
  6. I doubt the PC version will have a ramped up difficulty level. We're talking about putting out a game that a semi-retarded monkey with a crack pipe could complete with little challenge. - dr cloak
  7. LA = WTF? You should go to starwars.com and watch some of the behind the scenes videos for Episode III. After watching a half dozen of these videos, I started to see a pattern of redundancy in the amount of people they use to accomplish something simple. For example, there is one shot showing 3 people controlling a hydraulic system that moves a vehicle. There were 3 steering wheels all next to each other. One controlled yaw, one controlled pitch, and the other controlled something else I can't remember. They had one person behind each wheel!! LOL!! Talk about overkill. No wonder the company is losing money. - dr cloak
  8. Maybe, if you could write a proper sentence with correct grammar <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hahahahahahaha !!!! Thats just great. Reminds me of people that type stuff like "Learn to speall words properly!!" - dr cloak
  9. Starting over from scratch is important if you want to obtain 2 Light Sabers by the time you hit 10-12th level. See my post about it. If you start at the point of leaving Peragus, you might not have the required DS points to trigger the Visas sequence. - dr cloak
  10. I wish I could. But my setup is extremely rudimentary. I have a T.V., Xbox, and P.C. and nothing else lol. No other 'tech' stuff. - dr cloak
  11. Ahh, unfortunate it is made for casual newbies. They don't give us enough credit. I would guess the majority of the Kotor gamer-base are intelligent, and serious RPG fans, that are more than capable of receiving a good challenge. The same thing occurs in Newspapers. The writers of many Newspaper articles across the Nation are instructed to write no higher than 7th Grade Education level, in order for 'Mass America' to comprehend them better. - dr cloak
  12. Just a general question I had. Anyone else in love with HandMaiden's black outfit? After I gained my first influence point with her (towards the Dark Side) she changed her clothes. Very...secksay - dr cloak
  13. Well, the random loot system would have been perfect IF they had conducted the Jedi specific equipment/items in a separate system. For example, if you are Dark Side, allow for a Robe to drop from a specific 'boss' that is weighted towards your alighnment, based on a percentage. You're Dark Side? You have a 75% chance of landing a Dark Robe. The biggest laugh (quite sad at the same time) was my first playthrough as a Dark Sider. I didn't find my first Dark Jedi Master Robe until 5 minutes prior to finishing the game. ROFL!! How is that for 'Murphy's Law' ? - dr cloak
  14. /sarcasm on Why have K2 Xbox live enabled? I'm sure the devs have better things to do than to add new content and provide continous support to their game. Thats just asking too much. Besides, there are other games/projects to move onto. Who has time to linger in the past and code stuff for K2? I mean, lets just take the cash generated from the basic game and run!! /sarcasm off - dr cloak
  15. *Hades thinks of all the times he 8==wD 8=w=D 8w==D -ed while picturing DesertHawk as a man* " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hahahahaha!!! - dr cloak
  16. Extremely strange indeed. The loot is always a Saber component that you don't have, and its automatic. Before the scene cuts to Med Bay, the message box appears which lists the component. Are you absolutely certain no box appears after the fight/dialogue? - dr cloak
  17. I doubt you will if you already have a Saber. Was this the case? - dr cloak
  18. Spoiler Warning!! Proceed at your own Risk! I'm sure this is common knowledge to many 'veterans' already. Just posting it for those who want to obtain their Saber fast. This is for a MALE PC that is definitely going either Light or Dark Side. If you plan to be Neutral, then stop reading lol. It could possibly work with a Female PC, but I haven't experimented with it yet. The method below allows you to obtain your 1st and 2nd Saber relatively quickly, and literally within minutes of each other. Following this method will enable you to have 2 Light Sabers at the 10-12th Level mark. Apart from some unknown easter egg that may or may not exist, this is the fastest method... 1. Make sure you gain Dark Side/Light Side points (whichever way you're going) rapidly in Peragus, and Citadel Station. Its important to have enough DS/LS points to get the Cut Scene with Visas prior to leaving Citadel Station. The idea is to trigger Visas' departure to intercept you, early on in the game, in order to snag a Light Saber component from her Saber. 2. You should have obtained a Light Saber component from either Chodo Habat or Lorso once you're through Citadel Station. 3. Upon leaving Telos (Ice Academy), go to Nar Shadda first. Nar Shadda 4. Head to the Docks, and into the Flop House area. Open the first door you see in front of you. Take a Character with stealth, enter stealth mode and walk towards the two aliens. This will trigger a conversation about Vogga's Treasure Room. 5. Now go to the end of the hallway, and take a left. Open the second door on your left and talk to Lootra. Choose the Dialogue option that allows you to initiate a fight with him. Kill him and loot his corpse, obtaining your second Light Saber component. Note: (If you are Dark Side, and have either Kreia or Handmaiden in your party, you will lose influence with one of them once you kill Lootra. If you only have Atton in your party, you will gain influence with him) 6. Leave the Docks, and head back to the Ebon Hawk. Save your game prior to entering the Ebon Hawk. Once you enter, you will enter a cut scene sequence, and then fight Visas. Defeat her and obtain your 3rd and final Light Saber component, for your first Saber. 7. Have Bao-Dur build your Light Saber. (Cha-Ching!!) 8. Head to the Cantina (Entertainment District) with HandMaiden in your party, and preferably someone with Stealth/Security skills (Atton for example). 9. Once in the Cantina, be sure to stay clear of the Twilek dancers at this time. Take a Character with stealth, enter stealth mode and walk towards two aliens conversing amongst themselves. This will trigger a conversation about Vogga's problems with Goto. 10. Go to the Bartender and ask for Juma Juice. You can either buy it for 100 credits, or Force Persuade him to give it to you for free (if you have that option). 11. Now walk towards the Dancers to trigger the conversation with the male Twilek. Propose that HandMaiden dance for Vogga. 12. Once Vogga is asleep, save your game into a new slot. 13. Pour the Juma Juice into the Kath Hound's bowl. Then enter stealth mode, lock pick the Treasure Chamber Door and loot his containers for your second Light Saber (Cha-Ching!!). If the Saber you loot isn't the type you want, reload your saved game and try again. Its random each time. Its important to follow this chronologically. If you attempt to loot Vogga's containers for the Light Saber before you already have one, there will be nothing in the chamber to loot. Now that you have 2 Light Sabers, you can leave Nar Shadda and head to your target planet, or stay and complete that planet. Personally, I leave Nar Shadda immediately and head to Dantooine to get Crystals for my newly acquired Sabers. - dr cloak
  19. What? Just because I don't have "female" "girl" "gurl" "chick" or insert any other female title in my name means that I'm now male? Or the fact that I can hold my own without having to resort to "ur" "lol" "rofl" "lmaorofllol" "4" "4ever" "l8er" or some other strange new language form? Please - get your head on straight! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hahahaha - dr cloak
  20. Visas and I had a 'moment' of force passionate...stuff. - dr cloak
