  1. http://www.aotd-clan.com/Files/IntroAOTD.wmv Does anyone know the name/artist of the song in this trailer? Any help would be tremendously appreciated. - dr cloak
  2. An interesting read: http://news.spong.com/detail/news.asp?prid=7014 I always knew stuff like this happened, but could never find evidence of it. Most of the 'professional' game reviewing sites are biased in their score giving, IMO. - dr cloak
  3. I can answer a few. 1. Atton's dialogue line about Pazaak, occurs when you are talking to Kreia actually. She has you concentrate, and then you start hearing surface thoughts on all those on your ship. After this, you can talk to Atton and ask why he plays Pazaak in his head. 5. No matter who you chose to send to the Freedon Nad Temple, the Party Members will always say that "They don't want to talk about it". Nothing more is ever revealed, creating a 'story hole'. 6. I think the fuel quest was unresolved. I don't know anyone who was able to complete it. - dr cloak
  4. I always said they sould either use the Star Wars d20 system (that is more flexible, adds a better representation of Star Wars and even been revised by the autors) or they sould create a new system. Personaly I rather seen a new system, as it stands its too hard to use a table top RPG rule system since it never translate well into the cRPG medium and trying to "fix" some of the problems tends to create new ones that are overlooked. So dont go around lying over what I stand over the d20 system since the only strong stand I taken was when it come to epic levels were I said they would break the system without careful implementation (and I know that because I own the epic Handbook and seen how class progression in relation to almost evertything changes) since there is a reason why its the d20 system. But feel free to ignore my opinions that come from someone that used (and abandoned) the d20 system before KotOR was even when other people come out and expressed the same points that I did. Reading these replies remind me of GameFAQs fangirls calling me sexist and prejudiced because I said FF X-2 was not my cup of tea ... I love the fanboy mentality, reminds me of extremist groups. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I agree. Quite sad really. Like they're going to receive a special prize in the mail from Obsidian for consisently defending their game on the Forums lmao - dr cloak
  5. No confirmation. Nobody has picked up the contract to start development yet, so everything you see on K3 right now is pure speculation from players. I still don't understand why players take time to type out all their suggestions for a game that may or may not happen. Its not like the new dev team is going to go to your post and take notes and implement your ideas into the next game lol. - dr cloak
  6. I think Jag is right on this one. You would have to be looking too hard to think everything she said was a lie, especially the stuff at the end. - dr cloak
  7. K3 is not under development. - dr cloak
  8. Wow, I never got this quest. You're talking about the female Rodian on Nar Shadda, right? - dr cloak
  9. I'd say the worst movie for dialogue was Phantom Menace, only because of Jar-Jar lol. He sunk the film for me. - dr cloak
  10. Hehe, I would beat the game first, before asking these types of questions. But to answer one of your questions without giving away too much, nobody has been able to see the 'artifacts' in the Telos Academy. The Holocrons plays a small role later on in the story. - dr cloak
  11. Interesting point there. Which out of the 5 would you say had the best dialogue? - dr cloak
  12. I complain about both of them, because I think both of them are garbage... And it's not the actors' faults, either. How would you do with that awful dialogue if you were forced to try to say it convincingly? I mean, come on, there were some good actors in both films, actors whose work I have admired in many other movies... but combine George Lucas' crappy dialogue with his crappy direction, and what do you get... "bad acting". Doesn't help that the stories of both films ranged from vaguely to completely ridiculous, either. And yet, I will waste another $8 on episode 3, in the vain hope that Lucas actually pulls a rabbit out of his hat and gives us a decent movie. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, the dialogue was pretty bad, which lead to bad acting. Must be old age, eh? -dr cloak
  13. Every single comment I read from you has the same conclusion. Something bit ya? Ya keep hanging on a forum of some company to troll around and keep on insisting it's products are crap? I mean.. what the heck? Haven't you got more pleasant things to do? Sheeesh! I guess you feel wronged for paying the money? But if so - then I'd question the habit of purchasing a game without being sure you will be satisfied. I mean - no one forced ya to play or buy the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Here is my take on it. For every die-hard fanboy, there is the die-hard critic to balance it out. If this game were truly great, you would see something like 90/10 ratio, the 90 being the percentage of people who felt it was great, and the 10% that did not. You don't have this type of ratio in this game. There is a reason there are just as many people who thought it sucked vs. people who thought it was great. So based on your post, are you saying only those who have good things to say about the game should be allowed to post? This makes no sense. You have to get the idea out of your head, that just because you liked the game, everyone must have liked it. It doesn't work that way. People from both sides are going to state their opinions about it. - dr cloak
  14. Just solo with your Guardian. There is no need to bring party members with you, unless this is your first play through. Guardian is way overpowered. I was killing Jedi Masters in 1-2 Hits. But taking a 3-man group with your Guardian is just overkill, even on 'Difficult' setting. - dr cloak
  15. Its called 'bad storytelling'. - dr cloak
  16. The speculating probably does more harm than good. Everyone is assuming there will be a 3rd, yet nobody is developing it right now. The worse thing is if it doesn't get made, and many people get let down because they see posts regarding K3, incorrectly leading them to believe it will happen. - dr cloak
  17. Yeah, I kind of wondered about this theme in K2. I'm the "last Jedi" and yet a half dozen are still running around in hiding, not to mention some Dark Jedi running around. Then theres Visas, Kreia, Scion, and Nihilus to boot. To the others in this thread: LOL for stating the obvious and wasting space. - dr cloak
  18. Yeah, the ending pretty much sucked. But hey, they were trying to use the Empire Strikes Back 'feel'. And failed miserably. An RPG game and a movie are very different forms of media. What works in one form, doesn't necessarily carry over into the other form. But the 'best' games of '04 all had horrible endings in my opinion. It appears to be the new thing in the gaming industry. - dr cloak
  19. Example of Grey: http://www.abum.com/?show_media=3129&file_type=Movies - dr cloak
  20. It doesn't matter if the victim that you save becomes the next Sith Lord - saving the victim from the thugs was light side. The choice of nonchoice is in itself a choice. By choosing not to get involved, you make the choice to let evil prevail. And to let evil prevail is not Gray and certainly not Light, but Dark. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I think in the end, it comes down to ultimate motive. For example, I can see a Jedi saving the victim as well. I can see Jedi killing the thugs and rescuing the woman, only to have her be indebted to him/her as a 'servant'. The end result is that evil was conquered, the woman was saved. But cleary this Jedi is not a Light Sider. - dr cloak
