Yeah, I was using Bao Dur for item creation and had every skill (except Persuade and Stealth) in the 40s range. As far as I can tell, only the workbench defaults to the PC's Repair skill while breaking down items, so I don't think that's the problem

Questions that need to be answered
DarthPanda replied to lowiej's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I believe it was Akari who stated this, but the reason that hooded robes was cut wasn't because of extra work, but that existing robes were already pushing the Xbox's resources to the limit. -
That's strange, despite my skill in Treat Injury being up in the 40s range, I was never able to create the Universal D-Package (+2 to all attributes).

Hot damn, I've always wanted to see Kreia in red leather hot pants.

Not terribly surprising, the Xbox has a 733mhz processor and 64 megs of memory shared between the CPU and GPU. It's essentially a slow PC masquerading as a console - albeit a powerful console

Revan's destination and the navicomputer
DarthPanda replied to Ostkant's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The three droids that jump T3-M4 in Vogga the Hutt's droid warehouse have the chassis. -
Eh, any site that claims it has exclusive knowledge of in-game cheats is either lying or grossly mistaken Unless the site happens to be the developer's site and they've assassinated all their employess to prevent the codes from being leaked out. Hmm

I think you really only need five lightsabers - one for the exile, Visas, Kreia, Atton, and Mira. Handmaiden and Bao-Dur both have nifty unarmed combat abilities, and if you give them both Disrupter Gauntlets they can really clean house.

From what I got out of the dialogue in the game, Atris refused to accept that she had fallen to the Dark Side (thus betraying herself) until Kreia showed her the light (no pun intended). So up until the moment you defeat Atris, she was the acting Darth Treya (albeit unknowingly for most of her stint), and Kreia assumed the mantle again as she headed back to Malachor V. The reason Atris fell was she was hoarding both Jedi and Sith holocrons - she sought to save the Jedi teachings and wanted to understand the Sith teachings so she could learn how to defeat them. Of course, since she piled them all up in her meditation chamber, she went and got herself corrupted.

Lightsaber componant locations...
DarthPanda replied to ZethstaBane's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I vaguely remember picking a lightsaber off of Master Vash's body on Korriban, but I might be wrong. The doctor actually gives you the lightsaber once you prove his innocence, not retrieving the holodiscs - I remember this because of the insane number of area hops and loading times it takes to getting the reward after presenting the evidence to his friend. Really damn inconvenient since I was saving and loading to try and get the doctor to give me something other than a short lightsaber. -

My eyes, they bleed! -
Vendors restocking and getting new goods would have been welcome. I'm all for the random loot system, but only when certain restrictions are placed on it - like any containers in the armory should only have weapons and armor, containers in the medical bay should only have medical equipment, etc. Locked empty containers are evil

Take a close look at your inventory tab while on board the Ebon Hawk, you can access your party's inventory with that.
-
Just use the 'Shutdown' program at the bridge on the generator (this shuts down secondary power), then access the console to the right and reroute everything to the primary generator (if it doesn't do that automatically). This will cause the ship's cloaking device to shut down and unseal the airlocks.

PLEASE HELP-Stuck with no polt advancement
DarthPanda replied to Gmoney's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Try going to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and see if that triggers a movie or anything. -
I'd suggest hit and run. The pathing AI in the game isn't the greatest, so if you make tracks fast enough you can zip around a pillar and have some breathing time before the floating sabers catch up with you. Most people use this opportunity to spam Force Storm or some other offensive power to take down the sabers.

Lightsaber componant locations...
DarthPanda replied to ZethstaBane's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yes, until you get all three parts, any of these events will give you a part instead of a lightsaber. Of course, Freedon Nadd's tomb is late enough in the game that it's not possible for you not to have the required parts. -

You need a character with a bit of stealth to get into Vogga's stash. First you go to the cantina in the Entertainment area and sneak up to the two thugs talking to each other (if you don't stealth, they'll tell you it's a private conversation and shoo you away), after that go to the flophouse area in the Docks and sneak up to the two thugs in one of the flophouses (they also tell you to go away if you don't stealth up). After you get the information from the two groups, go back to the Entertainment area and get a bottle of Juma juice from the bartender, then talk to the guy who's recruiting dancers for Vogga. -

Off the top of my head... You get a lightsaber for each of the four Jedi Masters you find. Onderon - after solving the murder mystery you're given a lightsaber. Dantooine - if you modify the dead salvager's will and inherit his loot, you'll get a lightsaber. Dantooine - if you save one of the salvagers stuck in the lower level of the Jedi Enclave, he'll offer to sell you some items for a thousand credits. This includes a lightsaber and color crystal. Korriban - if you complete the trial in the hidden Sith tomb you're rewarded a lightsaber. Nar Shadaar - Vogga the Hutt's stash has a lightsaber. Nar Shadaar - reuniting the former Republic soldier with his wife gets you a lightsaber. Ebon Hawk - if you've already assembled a lightsaber before you encounter Visas, beating her will get you a lightsaber instead of a lightsaber part. Dxun - in Freedon Nadd's tomb, you wind up fighting five Sith Lords, generally two or three of them drop lightsabers. Dxun - you can get Freedon Nadd's lightsaber from his tomb, but it's not upgradable (still powerful for a short lightsaber though). Dxun - when hunting Cannoks outside the Mandalorian camp, there is one that drops a focusing emitter lightsaber upgrade, however if you kill it before you have a lightsaber, it drops a lightsaber part instead. Those are all the lightsabers I can recall for now. Just remember that whenever you're given a lightsaber, what type (double, long, or short) is randomly determined. It's best to save and load until they give you a type you want. Can't believe how many times I've been shafted with short lightsabers. -
Aw crap, I've been putzing around with this exploit for a few days now (takes forever for a LS Guardian/Weapon Master)... But then again, I've been getting nothing but medpacks, repair kits, parts, components, and stims since the beginning of the game. I guess it's not that big a change for me now <_<

The strategy guide sucks Reason I say this is because the lightsaber parts aren't in fixed locations - what actually happens is when you don't have your lightsaber yet, any lightsaber or lightsaber upgrade item you are rewarded from an NPC automatically turns into a lightsaber part. On Nar Shadaar, Vogga the Hutt has a lightsaber in his treasury, but if you reunite the former soldier with his wife in the Docks, he'll give you a lightsaber as well (in this case, he'll give you a lightsaber part). -
Dialogue after party members become Jedi?
DarthPanda replied to Annakie's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Mira is the only character I've trained who said anything new after becoming a Jedi, but it doesn't require any influence gain. She just thanks you for showing her the path and says she feels better than she has ever felt before. Oh, I guess Disciple also has one more thing to say, which leads you to gaining the ability to meditate with him. -
Because clearly, George Lucas smokes crack. And shares it with his employees.

What I found was that after I ran out of dialogue options with Bao-Dur, every time I perform a good act that he reacts to he would ask me a question once I talked to him again. I only needed to do this two or three times before he expresses his inner turmoil and you offer to train him. I rattled off what I can think of Handmaiden's training in your other post Good luck!
