Has anyone figured how vitality/hit points progression works? Does it depend on the character's class or what? I have been looking for info everywhere but even the manual has some vague information... Can someone please explain me how this works? Thanks in advance.

This looks pretty funny. Trailer: (English) (Russian) Official site www.stalinvsmartians.com

It's a personal choice, I like shuffling through the pages of a manual everytime I am looking for some specific rule or table. I have been using quite often my NWN1 manuals, so I would like to do the same with NWN2.
-
That would be the gold edition. But is there a printed manual included?
-
I still haven't bought NWN2 because I was waiting for all the expansions to be released and be combined in a combo pack. My only worry is that I wish to get a printed manual and not a digital manual. From what I remember, the combo packs for NWN1 did not include such a printed manual. I have to make a choice here: 1) Either buy NWN2 and its expansions separately so that I may get all the manuals. Moreover, I read that there will be a combo pack that will include both SoZ and MoW, so that will cover me for the latest expansion packs. Just one question: does the european (UK) versions of NWN2 + expansions include a printed manual? Otherwise, it is not worth the money buying them separately. 2) Wait for the supreme combo pack. Did the NWN2 gold edition include a manual or not? Depending on the answer, we may deduct whether or not the diamond or emerald edition will also include a manual.

Moreover, there's this MMO feel to this game. If you don't like MMOs, stay away from it.

The Dark eye is the name of the ruleset. Guys, if you are still hesitating to buy the game, you ought to try the demo. It gives you an idea of how the game looks like. From the various reviews (official and unofficial), the game seemed pretty cool until... I tried the demo. That's when I realized I am not gonna like this game. It seems to have nice ideas but the execution seems poor. I can't understand folks that claim that Drakensang is superior to The Witcher...

Mmmm, uninteresting story and gameplay... UI not user-friendly... bad camera... I don't like it... The graphics are gorgeous though...

Hmmm, who cares about Troika? I didn't like their games anyway...

They should also remove the annoying DRM from their games... I don't buy their games because of it and I am sure many people have reacted in a similar way... -
Should I conclude that the gameplay is closer to Dungeon Siege than NWN? Not much story, lots of battles...
-
Is the game closer to BG/NWN or to Dungeon Siege?
-
So, is the demo good or interesting? Is it worth buying the game? Is there a BG/NWN feel to it?

if i could travel into the future, i doubt i'd be depressed. That's because you haven't seen the future. WW3 FTW, Nuclear bombs, Fallout... Now, you will be able to experience your favorite game in real life!

Is the PS3 doing so badly in sales?
-
Well, the only thing I cannot complain about is the AI. I have to admit that the other characters were pretty effective when it came to saving me from monsters and other difficult situations. Yes, the AI is indeed lacking (no use of bombs, bad use of medic packs and pills) but it was above average nonetheless. I am sure it is even better than some real players...

I don't like Steam and such... I prefer having physical copies of my games. Imagine some big failure happens to my pc and I have to format it again. I will lose all my data including those games I bought. Would I have the patience to download them all over again, especially if I have already completed them? What will happen if I ever want to play the game again 5 years later? I would have to pay for it again I guess... No thanks... Moreover, what if the website where I had my account declares bankruptcy (something happening quite often lately, but not yet in the video game industry) and shuts down? What will happen to my legally purchased games? Storing software on my hardisk (internal or external) consumes valuable space that could be used for something else. A physical copy of a game can be shelved anywhere (in your room, in the attic or the basement).

By the way, I don't know about you guys but I find L4D to be a horribly boring game. There's not much to see when you have completed all the levels. It was interesting playing it at first but it gets quickly repetitive. What kept me going was that I was curious to see how each area looked like. Moreover, what's this about having more than 1000 lines recorded for each character? They were barely talking to each other in my playthrough...

I tried to convince my girlfriend to play Silent Hill 1, she made it past the intro movie and started walking in the fog at the beginning of the game. She then told me "What kind of game are you making me play? Do you want me to have nightmares all night?". That's when I switched off my playstation... I also wanted to make her play Resident Evil and Left4dead, but I except a similar reaction... I guess she can only play crash bandicoot, mario kart and the like... sigh... Oh, I also tried to introduce her to d&d by making her play BG2. She started with the tutorial but instead on concentrating on the game, she told me how beautiful the background and the music (harp) were. I gave up after that... She is definitely not into video games...

Do we have any info on the DRM they will use for this game? If there are limited activations, I think I will skip it... I boycott such systems...

Most of us don't have the time to do this. Could you please just tell us your impressions? It's a simple thing to do, really...
