  1. Yeah! Take THAT romza.
  2. Yeah, it made me roflmao too
  3. There's a very interesting discussion on that forum concerning this subject: http://www.painintheenglish.com/post.php?id=627
  4. And we have got result statistics on the website: http://www.easydamus.com/hallofheroesstats.html
  5. No. Oh yeah... Sorry, my mistake... But, please, pick another forest. Mine is already taken.
  6. I have been logging on your website for a long time now. Unfortunately, I have kept noticing the same mistake during all these years. The plural for "Forum" is "Fora" and not "Forums" (it's a latin word after all). I was being patient at first but you really need to fix this since it makes the site look pretty bad. I would appreciate if you replaced the text with any of the following suggestions or any other suitable alternative: Community Forum (or Fora) Message Boards
  7. I see I am the only one who got the Druid class... Well, I have always liked this whole shapeshifting business, hehe... How come 3/4 of the forum members are either bards or wizards/sorcerers?
  8. Gorth got the best stats and highest level so far...
  9. Indeed, some questions were just plain stupid. Some of them were asking exactly the same thing but using different wordings. How did you manage to get a higher level than me? You even got higher stats than me! grrrrr
  10. http://easydamus.com/character.html It's a nice but long quiz. So, I guess I belong to the divine healer category... I do like those classes though... I don't agree with the stats though: I just got a mere 77 point total. All those odd numbered stats should have been rounded up to the next highest value... You Are A: True Neutral Human Druid/Cleric (2nd/2nd Level) Ability Scores: Strength- 11 Dexterity- 13 Constitution- 13 Intelligence- 14 Wisdom- 15 Charisma- 11 Alignment: True Neutral- A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction. Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like. Primary Class: Druids- Druids gain power not by ruling nature but by being at one with it. They hate the unnatural, including aberrations or undead, and destroy them where possible. Druids receive divine spells from nature, not the gods, and can gain an array of powers as they gain experience, including the ability to take the shapes of animals. The weapons and armor of a druid are restricted by their traditional oaths, not simply training. A druid's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast. Secondary Class: Clerics- Clerics act as intermediaries between the earthly and the divine (or infernal) worlds. A good cleric helps those in need, while an evil cleric seeks to spread his patron's vision of evil across the world. All clerics can heal wounds and bring people back from the brink of death, and powerful clerics can even raise the dead. Likewise, all clerics have authority over undead creatures, and they can turn away or even destroy these creatures. Clerics are trained in the use of simple weapons, and can use all forms of armor and shields without penalty, since armor does not interfere with the casting of divine spells. In addition to his normal complement of spells, every cleric chooses to focus on two of his deity's domains. These domains grants the cleric special powers, and give him access to spells that he might otherwise never learn. A cleric's Wisdom score should be high, since this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast. 11. Any news? PS: This thread needs to be ressurected from time to time, ain't that right?
  12. What did I do to deserve so much hatred?
  13. This thread is for those who wish for specific things to be included in the newest NWN2 expansion. Please, general discussions about the expansion should be kept in the other thread. My personal wishlist: - Raise the level cap to 40 so that we may make use of it in custom-made modules and online gameplay - Reactivate the cut-content races (Ghostwise halfling, Lizardfolk, Githzerai and Githyanki) - Reactivate the cut-content classes (Master of Many forms, Mystic Theurge, Contemplative, Cavalier, Nw9 variants) - Include rideable horses - add new core classes and prestige classes (preferably FR-specific ones like the archmage, the hathran witch, the runecaster, the shadow adept, etc)
  14. Or Ninja, or Samurai (ronin), or Hexblade, or Duskblade, or Warmage, or Knight, or Scout, or Swashbuckler, or Spellthief highwayman play... I forgot the Beguiler btw... Actually, The Player Resource Consortium (PRC) have created a nice mod for both NWNs that add races, classes and prestige classes I feel dizzy all of a sudden... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incarnate_(Du...her_sourcebooks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_prestige_classes
  15. Or Ninja, or Samurai (ronin), or Hexblade, or Duskblade, or Warmage, or Knight, or Scout, or Swashbuckler, or Spellthief highwayman play...
  16. How about a cookie instead?
  17. And raise the level cap to 40 for online gaming...
  18. The first one you mentioned is already coded. I just hope they will bother activating it... Unless they were planning from the beginning to activate some of those prestige classes and races with each XP. I just checked on google once again and they have also coded other races like the lizardfolk, the githyaki and the githzerai... There's also the cavalier prestige class but I don't know if they will integrate rideable horses. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one though... I would like to see more FR-specific prestige classes like the shadow adept (quite interesting considering the 4E events concerning the shadow weave), the zentharim spy, the hanthran witch, the purple dragon knight, etc
  19. Rofl I will get you for this... I agree with you that there is no way for a company to restore some or all of their games' cut content. It would be indeed ridiculous to ask them to do so... On the other hand, I consider that my complain is accurate in the present case because all these races and prestige classes already exist in the codes and it would require minimal work to restore them. Obsidian could have done this either in the previous expansion or in one of their patches...
  20. Yes, please do that. While I am happy that Obsidian is making a second expansion, I am still waiting for them to deliver what they had promised us when the OC was in production. Where is my NW9 magus or my NW9 agent prestige classes? Where is my ghostwise halfling race? Where is the Master of Many forms or the Contemplative among the prestiges classes? They should have integrated all these things in their patches but did nothing about it. The feats for these classes and races are in the game but are unusable as they are. Is it so hard to do some coding in order to "activate" them? I refuse to praise Obsidian as long as they do not fix these issues. I still consider that Obsidian hasn't delivered a full product (just as it did with KOTOR II). This is becoming a habit and I don't want them to continue in that direction. The only thing to do is to put them some pressure instead of praising them or else they will keep repeating the same mistakes over and over. PS: should we start a NW2 XP2 Wishlist thread btw?
  21. I hope they decide to implement the classes and races they left out during the production of NWN2 OC...
  22. Over at IE Modding Community Spellhold Studios we've just released 3 new mods for Planescape: Torment; a WeiDU PS:T Fixpack, PS:T Unfinished Business and Qwinn's PS:T Tweaks. These are some of the most exciting mods for PS:T since the release of the original restoration pack and Platter's Fixpack, and we would like to spread the word as much as we can. The Planescape: Torment Fixpack is a comprehensive WeiDU Fixpack for Black Isle's classic Planescape: Torment CRPG. Fixing literally hundreds of bugs and thousands of typos, thereby restoring a lot of lost and inactive content, the PS:T Fixpack (along with PS:T Unfinished Business and Qwinn's PS:T Tweak Pack) provides a completely new Planescape: Torment experience! Click here for a list of the most important fixes, as well as further information on the mod itself. Planescape: Torment Unfinished Business takes the almost-but-not-quite-finished content that shipped with Black Isle's classic Planescape: Torment CRPG and polishes, bugfixes and finishes it so you can see and enjoy the new content in your game! With 13 components in the first release, this mod is a must-have for anyone interested in seeing what the developers didn't get time to do--or even if you're just looking for some new content! Click here for information on each of the components and further information on the mod itself. Qwinn's Planescape: Torment Tweaks adds a few ease-of-use tweaks to your Planescape: Torment install, as well as one or two must-have components! Including a banter accelerator, ease-of-use tweaks and several content changes, this is an extremely useful mod for any player. Click here for information on each of the compenents and further information on the mod itself. You probably want to get to downloading them. To do so, head over to Spellhold Studios. 23. The secret recipe is to make those special feats available to only a few classes and not all of them, just as there are class-exclusive skills.
  24. True. However, for me, the Arcane Trickster PrC is not good enough. I find it more interesting for the players to keep progressing as a rogue, a wizard or a rogue/wizard. Personally, I think that the concept of PrCs is seriously lacking. The only thing that makes them interesting is their unique abilities. I like very much what BIS did with IWD2. They implemented some of the unique abilities of prestige classes as selectable feats (envenom weapon, maximized attacks, etc).
