  1. (I don't expect you'll ever fully understand: you're missing a Y chromosome.) Were the deadpan one-liner puns an homage to Arnie? I'm not sure, but did Duke actually say "If it bleeds, we can kill it!" ?
  2. It wouldn't surprise me if you had a flamethrower ...
  3. I just thought I'd record this for posterity, Volo. "
  4. My money's on Eru.
  5. Even a broken clock is correct twice a day, Jodo.
  6. I think you are ascribing more intent than can be comfortably granted to the writing of this game. At no point does the denouement lift itself out of the shadow of quality; it is nothing more than generic plot devices drowning in their own sea of clich
  7. KotOR2: The Sith Loosers
  8. Naked. I'm too Force-Sensitive for my armour.
  9. Sure does. Looks like you spent just a little bit of time thinking about this and planning it. :D How do characters get Action Points? And how fast do they rejuvenate?
  10. Ultima would be TEH R0XX0r!!1!! I'd actually buy a handheld to play that.
  11. ... Dr. Strangelove, from Merkw?iebe, his German name, includes on aspects of each of Herman Kahn, Wernher von Braun, Henry Kissinger, and Edward Teller. The accent used by Sellers is supposedly based on that of Weegee. His speeches are interrupted by struggles to gain control over his affliction of alien hand syndrome (his hand at one point attempts to strangle him, at another it thrusts itself out in a Nazi salute). ...
  12. Is that a bullpup 5.56mm or an imperial .223? (<{POST_SNAPBACK}>)
  13. Yeah, I'd like to see a serious disagreement, like that between G0-T0 and the Remote, only with fatal consequences (o the equivalent for droids). Their are a lot of different types of beings in the galaxy, and a lot of 'em ain't go'nna like each other ...
  14. I knew it was you, ED'Oh, when I read the topic and subtitle! Yeah, as one of your ideas, it's not bad. One small point: are you talking about a plot for K3, a mod, some dream you had, or what? If it's the first, then this is meant to be an addendum to the main thread; if it's the second, then you probably want to post it on Hollowan; if it's the third, then you might have to stop eating pizza right before you go to bed.
  15. Sounds like your family has dysfunctional communication. Not everyone wants to express feelings and deal with them in the open. Also, talking about old emotional issues doesn't necessarily make the pain better or bearable; sometimes it just makes the person feel worse, reliving the pain over and again. That said, I think in order for you to walk through the steps listed, you probably need to address your feelings on those who have died. It needs to be with someone you completely trust, so if there isn't anyone, you're at a distinct diadvantage. Also, don't think that "getting over it" is a normal part of grieving. Many people never get over a death
  16. Maybe Mr Miyagi taught him that funny Crane-kick, as he did for Daniel in The Karate Kid? Yep, at least there were Dark Jedi waiting to ambush you in K1; I agree that the Korriban part was nonsensical (in K1). I was contemplating having to act DS with my highly LS PC, but when there didn't seem to be any imperative to do so, I didn't. (I was more interested in seeing what happened to an overt, out-spoken LS on a Sith planet, until it was too late and nothing untoward had happened ...)

  18. Hehehe... So true! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ooo, they were the ones that set off the smoke alarm whilst trying to cook toast, or whatever they were doing ... "
  19. Everyone knows that Godzilla is bigger than King Kong.
