  1. 5 hours and 56 minutes in and you're still basically on peragus. i believe its impossible to get the lightsaber that early.
  2. Koryni Tehr was my first character. Bri'Anna Thoren was my second, female.
  3. so thats what that was for. i only got the speeder bike repaired 2/3 of the way.
  4. Well if you don't have any OEM software included w/ it, you can use the nVidia utility or you can use CoolBits or Riva Tuner. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> isnt that kind of thing dangerous to do (relatively speaking) if you dont really know what youre doing?
  5. i havent bothered trying the demo that comes with kotor2, bu thats disappointing. i was actually looking forward to that game. <_<
  6. im not a big fan of demos. they tend to have limited features and options available, which imo doesnt give you the whole experience.
  7. was that english? or is it late and i read it wrong?
  8. i never played the kotor1 xbox version, so i have to wait to see how the pc versions compare. but if the robes are anything to go by, then i think ill vote for kotor2.
  9. that wasnt in the prologue. that was right when you meet up with him when hes still in his cell on peragus.
  10. after reading the linked preview im going to have to say this game looks interesting. im still going to wait to hear some more gamer reviews when its released first, but its on my "keep watching" list.
  11. no "glitch" is helpful. <_<
  12. i wonder why these specs were so late to be released? the game (unless there are delays) is due out in less than a month. i always thought system specs were released much earlier in the development cycle?
  13. this was posted in the pc forum already. although you would have to wade through about 7 or 8 pages to get to it. "
  14. im not really tired of the xbox getting things first because i own one and it doesnt affect me. however, i much prefer using a pc to game, so in that sense im torn.
  15. id say either vrook or darth traya were the toughest bosses in kotor2. when i played using a force-strong character, malak was tough because he was immune (or seemed to be) to force attacks and i didnt have much of a melee character. but other than him probably the taris governor. i didnt find sherruk very difficult.
  16. That's probably because you have to be level 50 or something to access it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> your kidding right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wish I was...but it doesn't look too promising http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=28450&hl= <{POST_SNAPBACK}> thats retarded. i dont think id even want to waste my time leveling up to level 50 just to wear a piece of armor that doesnt even look like malaks armor from kotor1.
  17. it would be nice if the original poster gave a reason for his poll. its difficult to say yes or no and debate both sides of his question when he never really indicates why it would make more sense.
  18. the other major problem with the bio boards right now is that every post (or the majority of them) are rehashes of the threads weve already seen here and have discussed ad nauseum. it might be a while until the repetitive threads end and new ones start popping up.
  19. i still havent seen either of these items. the only one i even knew was in the game was the armor. no clue that his lightsaber was in it as well.
  20. um? someone did do that. try looking back a previous page or two (cant remember which).
  21. this forum seems so much more dead now. <_<
  22. if youre not inferring this, then ignore this post. but why do you keep making it seem like obsidian is at fault for the lack of advertising? you did that in your review on your website, and youre doing it again (or atleast suggesting they were). for someone who is supposed to be "in the gaming industry news", you dont seem to be able to understand the simple concept that LUCASARTS and LUCASARTS ALONE are responsible for the marketing and advertising of the game.
  23. and your point?
  24. a few posts in this (and the other thread about the move) thread have got me wondering about something and hopefully either an obsidian employee or a mod/admin from this forum could answer it: this forum has been, by in large, very tolerant and isnt so anal about bannings and warnings. from what i gather (and the small amount ive seen by just lurking on the bio boards), their moderators are anal and uptight (abuse of power, or whatever). so my question is then, does obsidian or the current mods here have any say whatsoever over there? if one of the "regulars" from here gets banned for a relatively minor offense (ie. something that would be overlooked here after maybe a pm warning), will they be able to step in and undo the ban? or are the bio mods going to have the all mighty power to do as they please?
